Dang, what if Draxum recovered the two other turtles after the lab accident and gave one (the mysterious Assistant) to Big Mama as some sort of trade offer.
Or — what if Big Mama simply came across the Assistant and just ‘adopted’ her?
OR — what if the Mud Dogs came across the Assistant after hearing about Draxum’s lab exploding? They’re sent to look for Lou Jitsu and they come back with a teeny babby turtle? Big brother Mud Dogs 🥺…
When I first found the fandom
“Wow Sans is so cool, all..cool and shit. Yeah I like him!”
A few years later.
“Sans sucks, he is too nihilistic, Papyrus is sweet and carefree, my adorable Summer child, I love him.”
Even more time later.
“I get it. I get Sans. He and I, we buds. The world is a terrible, dark place.”
Even later.
“I think Papyrus is cool for trying to help his bro, by keeping a smile going and I don’t think he is as naive as everyone seems to think he is. Let our boy say Fuck.”
Yet more time passes.
“...Screw it all, I am siding with Disillusioned Blue. Cute but will cut you.”
I can't decide whether to change Connor to a girl. On the one hand, I think there should be more stories aimed at both boys and girls with girl protagonists. On the other hand, most of the defining characteristics of my protagonist are things you see a lot in fictional girls/women but I'd really like to see more of in boys/men
Wildborn Musings — Family Ties
» Aedh and Anam’s mother died of injury shortly after they were born, but thankfully they were taken in by another member of the Hellhound pack named Eabha, who’d recently had her own litter of pups and had milk to spare. While Anam unfortunately soon passed away as well—his spirit going on to Bond with Tristan—Aedh continued to be raised by Eabha as if he were her own son, and he likewise developed close attachments to his milk-brothers and sisters. It holds true to this day, with two of Eabha’s most recent children—the pups Kieran and Nessa, brother and sister respectively—becoming the center of Aedh’s life.
» Tristan gets his faun side from his father, an unnamed goat demon who is around somewhere on the Isles, but is completely out of Tristan and Eleri’s lives by the time the events of the Wildborn arc take place. The lineage on his mother’s side is far more extended, though obviously it is only his grandmother and her family that he’s ever interacted with, prior to his grandfather’s return as the Thunderbird.
You know that moment, the one when the very tips of the fingers of a drowning man vanish beneath the surface, as the water cackles in a roiling throb?
That precise moment is when the universe trembles. Knowingly. Another of its children had been torn away, one by one, they all go away and all that remains is desolation.
That is the curse of eternity.
Watching everything you know disappear, like the last droplet of evaporated rain.
Even petrichor becomes a mere memory.

shiftythrifting is a wonderful blog and i love it, but i can't help being a bit befuddled by so many submissions with clown related stuff in them being called "cursed" by the op of the submission.
now I'll admit I'm a bit coulrophobic (specific kind of makeup+costume gets to me) but objects like dolls and other such knickknacks are generally just charming to me. so seeing an object that looks benign to me being described as "cursed" confuses me.
maybe there's also some generational and cultural differences between what is considered cute and what isn't hmmm. and well, general fear of clowns i guess!
