Yinan Chen is a multimedia artist; she lives and work in Wuhan, China. Her journey with art began from a young age as she was born into an artist family. Yinan studied at BA and MA in Ceramics at Hubei Institute of Fine Arts in China and recently completed a Master of Fine Arts, Ceramics at Rhode Island School of Design.

Chen’s discipline is multimedia; her works consist of various materials such as steel, clay, and daily objects. She draws on life and society as inspiration for her expressive, detailed sculptures.
