from ballet to ballad , jodie marie is the best selling female pop singer of the 80’s out to date. born on january 17th of 1960 , she started her music career at sixteen years old in her uncles garage with a tape recorder and a dream. ( dr based in 1984 )

moving from new york city to los angeles , california at fourteen years old for her mom’s talk show promotion was a huge change especially for a young black girl from the not so suburbs in manhattan. her whole life changed on and off that flight when she realized this is really it now. her uncle bill bray , who was the bodyguard for the jackson 5’s lead singer michael , suggested that they’d stay with him until their house was fully furnished and finished. being around the jackson’s wasn’t anything new to me due to my father being a security guard for celebrities as well but it was kind of different because… why was michael lowkey like really cute 😞🫩🫩.

being around the jackson’s made me realize i wanted to start singing. so i asked my parents to sign me up for lessons and that’s exactly what they did ! i was taking singing lessons everyday after school and on saturday after we cleaned. at sixteen years old, i realeased a single that went semi viral with 100,000 sells off the rip!! after the success of the solo, i took a little break to actually perfect my craft and finished my high school years. attending howard university for two years in 1978 & 1979 before dropping out and persuing music again. my parents were obviously not happy with the drop out but at least my career started to skyrocket and so did the money 😉.

i had won my first grammy in 1982 & finally moved into my beverly hills estate with my beautiful amazing stunning gorgeous perfect hottie boyfie michael jackson ( who doesn’t live with me but let’s just pretend he does okay? ok )

michael & jodie have been childhood friends since she was fourteen and he was sixteen due to her uncle being his bodyguard ( and father figure but let's not take it that far ). attending each other's recording sessions and having annual sleepovers almost every weekend. some of the other jackson siblings report that jodie's muse was definitely michael during her earlier years having some unreleased songs about him ... but she'll never admit it. jodie was and still is obsessed with cameras and most of her camera storage was filled with pictures of her and mikey since they were always around each other and that's the huzzy like

in 1982, michael confessed in an interview that he did have a little crushy crush on one of his friends but obviously ( not so obvious ) he didn't state who ... but we all knew. after the interview we talked about it and bam we started dating 😊😊 … can you tell i didn’t finish this script

future mikey & joey „ in 1989 the two got married in west hollywood and moved to the heart of santa barbara to an estate he bought two years prior before going on multiple.. multiple honeymoons (one most memorable being disneyland lol get it cause , okay.) michael built neverland valley ranch and we lived happily ever after and won so many more awards and yay and we had a daughter in 1999 because we’re mf goated like
