It's September 1st, start of Blood Cancer Awareness Month. The three main types of blood cancer are Leukemia, Lymphoma and Multiple myeloma. I was affected by Multiple myeloma 10 years ago, when my late husband was diagnosed with the disease. I now spend my time speaking to others about my family's experience to help patients, caregivers, and anyone else who may benefit from from our story. For me it's about turning lemons into lemonade, a mess into a message.
