☾ On a sleepless night, what would they be found doing?
Many are unaware of the blonde male being an insomniac. The average amount of sleep most people should try for is not even close to what Byunghun gets. As a human, he must slave to the practical way of life, working in society as a teacher’s assistant. His internship is also spent training him, so at times he is preparing a lesson for class the following morning. Sadly, he lies in bed for hours when he isn’t hunting. He rethinks and overthinks in regards to his past, present, and future. He’s human after all. When he isn’t forced to focus on his studies or teachings, he researches supernaturals, gathering any sort of information he deems useful. He’s done odd things, like picked fangs out of a vampire’s skull, or created weapons such as garlic spray to ward off the blood suckers. He performs test runs on hunting nights if he’s lucky enough to stumble upon prey. There was an instance when he tried dragging a vampire back to his Uncle’s condo, but he realized the risk he’d be taking. He’s thought of moving his research to the basement of an abandoned building–if he’s lucky to discover one that isn’t infested with supernaturals. Or spirits. And of course, one may find the blonde doing intense combat training. He pushes himself to be a true guardian to other mortals, even if that means sacrificing his own wishes.
✗ Explain how they portray feelings of hostility or dislike.
The curl of his upper lip is a sure sign of his disgust. He is a blunt person, voicing his thoughts and opinions of another, especially when they piss him off just right. He has a habit of clenching his jaw, his eyes ablaze with aggravation. It isn’t hard to tell when Byunghun is upset, since his actions are recognizable. However, despite his hostility, he will never threat another, unless they pose a threat that could lead to death. And that is only when it revolves someone else, not himself. It truly depends on the intensity of the remark or threat that is made toward him. Especially when it’s done so by an evil and corrupted opponent. In an everyday world, Byunghun keeps to himself for a very good reason. He doesn’t have to dwell on the stupidity of mankind when he avoids his own species, and he is able to be more at peace because of it. He does not think the human race is superior over supernaturals, in fact he thinks that all are equal. Plenty of humans are monstrous, and plenty of monsters know how to play at being human.
☠ Are there any recent/daily thoughts they have about death or dying?
He doesn’t understand why he’s alive and his parents are dead. He’s mystified by the blessing of his mother’s rosary that warded off the vampires that night. In a sense, he doesn’t fear death, nor embrace it. It’s almost as though he’s been thrown into purgatory, a place between heaven and hell. But doesn’t that sound like Earth itself?
