I'm gonna be 30 this month.

I honestly thought I would never last this long. It was either me committing suicide or my family killing me off.

I'm gonna be fucking 30!

I have no family to celebrate it with, my bf is in a different country and he really wants to spend it with me but he can't. I feel sad.

What should I do on my 30th? I don't want something huge, I only want something huge if there's my bfs family gonna be there. But sadly, not. So, should I go out for a meal? I don't like clubbing, I hate getting drunk. So, is there something I can do? Idk what tho.

Had someone told me 10-15 years ago that this is where I would be and what I'd be doing in my thirties....

.... Then again, it wouldn't have sounded as such an unlikely scenario. Not a desired one, but still not unlikely. (Probably would have considered myself a failure - but I can't tell you how happy I feel right now.... And everything considered, that's kind of miraculous (pun not intended)...)
