First Karmor / Latest Karmor

Just a silly comparison of art styles and Karmors

Lil Karmor ramble under cut(Karmor likers with like it maybe):

RAMBLE: decided to do this random comparison between my first vision of Karmor and his new and improved design that I made last year, it is also a very cool way to compare old art style with recent one!

I guess what I like between both designs is that I didn't change much of them. The hair mechanic is the same, but I did make Karmor's hair more wavy(?) in his new design, more sharp unlike his former counterpart - that's more curly.

He also looks far younger than the newest, and that's bcs I actually thought Karmor WAS a child listener in the first EP of BVZ, bcs of the way the character would talk and refer to him. <- Hipswitch would literally call Karmor "kid" before going to Partner, how could I not???

So when I found out he wasn't a smol child, when I made the design that thought was still on my mind and I guess it just sink into the design on accident.

Then after EP 2 - as well as a few rewatches later - I managed to just accept the fact that found family trope with child listener wasn't going to be a thing for now, and just accepted that Karmor is a grown man(22yrs old). So yeah! It was far easier to map out his design and un-child him lolz

The braids hehehe...was a pretty nice detail to add on Karmor. I have this theory that Karmor and Kayne(TQS listener) are relatives - brothers specifically - so I wanted to add a singular similarity between both boys in case my theory is true :3

In my Kayne design(that isn't fleshed out yet sadly) he has two braids, just like Karmor, but in a different position. So it turned into his signature.

Karmor, in theory, doesn't remember Kayne, but when he dressed up and put on the new clothes(EP 2 moment), he had a relatively great amount of hair in shoulder-length and Hipswitch had the idea to braid it so it doesn't become much of an inconvenience to him. So, accidently, it created this parallel between both boys!

It was a pretty fun detail to add lolz, but honestly? If lore comes out differently and maybe Karmor and Kayne aren't related, I was kind of thinking of getting rid of Karmor's braids...

I'm not attached to his braids whatsoever lol, so I'm fine to chop them out if my theory isn't canon or even lore accurate. As well as the scars! Bcs Geeb said that Karmor doesn't really...have any scars, which made me kind of sad. <- don't mind this, I'm just very picky with my designs so they can fit as much as possible in canon heheh

Anyways- yeah! I guess that's enough rambling about my Karmor design's details and reason changes, or else this will be a very unnecessarily long post.
