Hey, I remember seeing a post a while ago about how many Jayces ended up in the bad timeline and how many made it out of it.
I have some thoughts about that it and its implications, but I can't find it, so I'll just explain and rumble, OK?
So according to the post, 100 Jayces made it to the anomaly. 100 Jayces ended up in the bad timeline. Only 5 of them made it to Viktor commune. Only 4 had the will to shoot Viktor. Only 2 made it to the top of the Hexgate. Only 1 succeeded in saving the day.
So, my biggest question is; what happened to the other 95 Jayces??? Where are they? They didn't make it out of the other dimension, at least I don't think they did.
Did they die in that pit? By other means? Does that mean that the Old Mage Viktor had let them perish? Did he have to burry them each and every time?
I'll admit that the pit thing is already ambiguous in its reasoning. We could speculate why it was necessary (if it was at all?) but the possibility that this pit had become the tomb to many versions of Jayce is... disturbing. The Old Mage must be desperate. Did he think that it was a kinder fate? Was that how he copped? Does that mean that he has the blood of more Jayces than the other versions of him combined?
And what about the ones who made it? 5 had passed and gone back to their timelines. 1 had lost his nerve and, presumably, joined his Viktor (Or this Jayce could be the one on top of the Hexgate? which could affect the math by one Jayce) 4 had took the shot. but only 2 (or 1) made it to the final fight. What happen to the other 2 (or 3)? Did the grief and guilt get the better of them? Did they think that it is all over and now they have no reason to keep going? Jayce had already stood on an edge once when he thought that there is nothing left for him to do or give. Is it a stretch to think that he would find himself on another after everything he'd seen, experienced, and done?
It is all so grim yet interesting to think about.
Or I could be making a mountain out of mole hill and this all just nonsense. Either way, I'm glad to let it out of my head.
I was thinking of making another blog where I post the story I invented for my OCs (Idk if it's the right term cause they're just in my mind since I can't draw). I'm not sure if I'll make it because I haven't written much of the story, it's mostly in my head and it's hard to put it into something like a book. And even more difficult in English.
Spoiler: some characters are very gay, but most of them are on the aroace spectrum. And there some trans and nonbinary characters obv. But this isn't the main topic of the story.
