You ever catch yourself having a negative perception of life? ๋࣭ ⭑

this is one of the things i strongly dislike about myself and ive been dealing with it for so long. i am currently medicated/in therapy but still myself in a slump due to my environment. i feel so ungrateful at times >.<

its so easy for me to feel sad/pathetic abt my life, no relationships or genuine friends..i never experienced that irl before the trauma and constant betrayal ive been through with family n then expected to get over it is just all too much

i really feel myself spiraling, whenever i get into headspaces like this its so easy for me to get upset n feel like no ones cares or gets me ;/ because im so used to rejection n ppl invalidating my feelings constantly. this week was mentally tiring in general yes ofc good things happened in between but dealing with responsibility worries, recovering from a virus and on top of me and my moms weird relationship + insecurities of my own n mental health i am TIREDDD

gonna try n not be so hard on myself abt this i just get so frustrated w this mindset, i write myself off as a "realist" but i dont wanna come off as a negative/pessimistic person just bcus i suffer from mental illness and my brain is wired differently than everyone elses ;/

The era of the 80s man!

In the time of one-man armies, Rambo, Commando and The A Team shooting up the place, men with fancy cars and nameless women hanging off their arms, here is a man who solves his problems with his brain, drives a nondescript, practical grey jeep, and is always a gentleman.

Smart but never smug

How easily this character could have been a smug, smart-ass, know-it-all. Instead, he has a "gosh, I hope this works" charm.

Social consious

This is the man who hates guns, gives his earnings to refugee charities, is an ally of sex workers, stands up against racists and white supremacists, fights for environmental causes, and protests the treatment of migrant workers and idigenous people.

(So much so that the NRA boycotted the show and tried to get it cancelled, and the right-wing media called it "liberally-biased." If you're pissing these people off, you're doing something right!)

MacGyver is who he is and he's not perfect.

He's vegetarian, people mock him for it, and he doesn't care. He doesn't drink, people mock him for it, and he doesn't care.

He makes questionable outfit choices and will not cut his hair no matter how many times people ask him to.

He can't throw a punch, he's scared of heights, can't cook, is terrible at sign language (a room full of deaf children laughing at his attempts), and his apartment always needs cleaning.

In conclusion:

Basically, he is a lovable nerd who loves science and hockey, lives a low-key lifestyle, is socially progressive, looks out for his friends, loves dogs and children, and always treats women with respect, and still always beats the bad guys!

Oh, and he's cute as all hell! 😍

So, a few nights ago it was a friend's birthday. we did some weed and did a few edibles. something we do rarely, and I decided to stay over... I was watching youtube fuzzed outa my mind when 'Emisis Blue' turns on. My dumbass forgot what it was and watched it and when I say I started tweaking... I mean full on bare ass naked tweaking. my buddy came downstairs and he took a video (I will not be attaching because I was, In fact, bare as naked) next morning I woke up on the couch, head was fucked and my buddy showed me the video... pretty sure I popped a blood vessel from laughing. he asked if he could post it, I said 'no' he deleted the video. end of story
