i did briefly revisit magma for this, since he also draws on it

trying to make him less scary for my second proper drawing of him on krita😭😭 it looked like i killed and stuffed him before

i drew him some eyebrows at some point into this but i took them away. because i dont think he deserves to be able to express himself. also like to think he probably lost them in a bet or something stupid. i also never really draw him with eyes, so under the shades its just blank but i think this turned out pretty well

while im at it heres some other stuff i worked on today

first time i ever drew sparta/jules actually, i dont know if i talked about him that much, or at all.

Just know, hes a fraud, a bum, and a hoe. And hes crazy. it just has a yassify filter over it. Romeo thinks hes a lunatic. Jules is scared of Romeo because he kicked him in the nuts, and while he was doubled over pulled a gun on him

something something hypocrisy something something. But given some background romeo is actually pretty rational, he just hates jules. And also threatening him properly is the only way to get him to drop the act

Theyre both of the same original species i was writing up, which are basically just demons who take on the form of a more or less paleo accurate dinosaur. And they all actually behave as people, with their own individual goals.

As dinosaurs are demonized by media, and caricatures of demons are expected to be outright malicious

All of them draw also power from humans in some way or form. And they each have their own linked weapon they either keep on themselves at all times, or are capable of summoning at will

In Sparta's case, he draws energy from the feelings of glory and conquest of people, which most commonly comes through violence. Which is why he's typically found in the audience of underground fight clubs. He has a dagger, but mostly for use in his work instead of actually using it as a weapon.

I decided to make him a forgemaster(inspired by castlevania, except hes not human) because it seemed fitting for someone who doesnt like to do the dirty work, and also because he partakes in witchcraft already

I'm not sure about Romeo. He does wield a withered greatsword, however. Despite the title of being a cursed weaponsmith, he actually cultures cursed/cursebearing objects instead, theres no smithing involved, and it doesn't even have to be a weapon!

He can also seal certain entities in his weapons if the entity is weak or weakened enough at the moment.

In the past he would also get rid of competition this way, fighting other demons, defeating them and then sealing them

colorwise i had no idea what i was doing for isle guy, i just didnt like how i accidentally made him too bright, since im still getting used to krita's color triangle instead of color square like in magma. Im used to just manually selecting the shades i want straight from it, so, Agjhfdfsdk

moved to krita, kleki was just the temporary solution so i actually had something i could draw on

its pretty good, i have yet to figure out a lot of the features. my only gripes with it is that i cant colorpick as quickly(having to manually select it as opposed to just right clicking and enabling it from there), and that the eraser tool is nonexistent and works as a brush instead, but everything else is not That different,

the different format doesnt bug me that much surprisingly, but thats because magma's constantly switching ads and lag drove me that crazy. If it were not for that it would have freaked me out too much, and i wouldve just gone straight back to magma, but then again its because the ads->causing lag to the point where i cant properly draw that drove me out

anyway, the two things ive drawn with it so far

second one under cut, for gore reasons. Im pretty sure not having skin can qualify as gore
