Okay so like. I’m on this site called mycast, I will preface this whole thing by saying I know it’s cringe. It’s very cringe. Like 95% of the users are probably Wattpad users. That kinda cringe. However I am Autism™ and I love to sort people and characters into little boxes and this site makes me happy. Cringe but free etc etc. Anyway the important part is the point of the site is to like, put together fancasts. Like you input a “story” (ie: “Kingdom Hearts”) and then can put in the character roles and suggest actors to play the roles (ie: “Miya Cech as Kairi”) and other people can vote on your suggestions or make their own. Pretty fun but once again can get very cringe very fast but like who cares, we’re all gonna die why not have some fun casting your favorite Disney Princesses or whatever.
Anyway, a couple months back mycast got a new “partner” (probably sponsor??) called LegionM, which is self-described as “the world’s first fan-owned entertainment company. Legion M partners with top Hollywoof creators to produce movies, TV, and digital content. See Legion M stories below to cast your vote for REAL feature films and TV series in development!” I haven’t looked into it but from being on the internet for one billion years it seems like a scam. Like, probably definitely a scam. I could be wrong cause I don't care to look into it but yea it's probably a scam. But like this is the cringe site so why not have some fun with it right?
Anyway their stories have been at the top of the welcome page for MONTHS and it’s annoying but the worst part is every day. Every fucking day I use this site to sort my little blorbos or fancast my little comfort series. I look at their list of bland stories they want unpaid teenagers to cast for them. And every day. I see it.
