I really liked everything you had to say- you put all my thoughts on them into words. If you don’t mind, I have some miscellaneous headcanons I’ve been desperate to share with someone for a while now, and you’re the only person I can think of that might be interested:

Mylo tends to steal sweets or fruit for Powder when he thinks she hasn’t eaten in a bit. He slips them in her pocket so she doesn’t know it’s him

They were a lot closer when they were younger (as in before Act 1) due to them both being the “weak ones” of the family. They played a LOT of pranks on the others

Powder has almost always had a crush on him from the day they met (although it was puppy love back then)

For all that they argue, Mylo would absolutely never hurt her physically. He knows what that’s like (Vi gets in his face in E1 and he seems genuinely frightened which says a lot). The most that happens is typical sibling roughhousing

Later on in their lives Powder convinces him to swap out the pedo stache for a small beard because it makes his face more proportional and brings out his resemblance to Vander

The main reason Powder tries to help Mylo get with Gert is because she wants him to be happy (even if she’s actively fighting not to cry) and she thinks she has no shot with him anyways. Mylo is oblivious to this for a very long time

On the other hand, Mylo is VERY openly jealous if Pow tries to flirt with someone. He goes totally quiet, eye twitching, grip hard enough to shatter a glass, so angry his breath goes ragged. Someone asks if he’s okay and he insists he’s just worried about his little sister’s safety (which is part of it, sure, but he’s in deep denial of the other reason he’s upset)

Mylo probably has a handful of scars from those long asf nails but I seriously doubt he cares

In an AU where Mylo survives the explosion and they get separated, he gets Powder’s name tattooed over his heart

The first time Jinx has a psych break in front of Mylo, he’s very confused and panicked. He probably doesn’t take it seriously until she starts hurting herself, at which point he’ll be scared shitless and start doing anything he can to hold her back or distract her

Powder (or Jinx) likes to put his hair in pigtails with ribbons when he’s asleep. Mylo is not amused

Their idea of a date is setting something on fire

Jinx only ever gifts him weird shit like dead birds or strands of her hair

Following canon with dead Mylo, his ghost follows her everywhere (trying and failing to fistfight Hallucination Mylo)

Their first time goes differently depending on when it happens and which timeline:

If it’s the S2 AU they’re gonna be clumsy, quick, and maybe a bit rough because of how heat of the moment it is and how much sexual tension was going on before

Canon timeline with Jinx does things so freaky it kills half of Zaun

Act 1 would be a far cry from both of those. Mylo definitely takes the lead seeing as he’s automatically more experienced, and he’d be scared to hurt her because of their size difference so he’d be gentle (physically at least. Verbally I’m not so sure)

In conclusion I think about them too much and talk to people about them too little

I'm totally crazy about them as a ship in any metric(platonic,familial and romantic). Idc long as they get to be the sassy bicker king and queen with each other.

I know that feeling all too well having a ship you love but have nobody or a few group of people to share it with. Glad you loved my thoughts about MyPow, for the record I love PipeBomb. Great ship name. Anyway let's unpack this jar of cuteness for my sweeties. Warning: long responses below.

I can totally see Mylo doing that, he doesn't want to break that tough guy facade that he only shows to Powder. He'll still go out of his way to do nice things for her but doesn't want her to go thinking he's gone soft. Not yet!

As the butt monkey duo, they bonded by proxy due to feel excluded for their lack of skills. It was only a matter of time before Mylo's insecurity made him distance himself from Powder due to being reminded of his "lack of", so in his best efforts he deflected blame onto her instead of standing with her. With what fingers were being pointed at them, he now points one at her forcing Powder to stand alone. I can see the pranks too, they totally messed with Claggor the most(who would push Vi?)

Oh yeah, Powder for sure had a crush on Mylo that was both hard to hide and easy to detect. I can see Vi teasing her about in subtle ways whenever she would catch Powder staring. He was attractive in a gruff way to her eyes, she would never buy when she would overhear the others "joke" about how ugly he was.

OMG THIS! I've seen asshats on Tiktok insinuate that Mylo was abusive to Powder which I never believed for a second when people would provide examples. Him getting in her face in heated confrontation is his excuse to smell her perfume without being so obvious. Do you see the way he scrunches his nose, I'd argue Vi has put her hands on every one of them at least once but that's a topic for another story! Mylo physically at most has given her a rough pat on the back to congratulate her when she does something right for a change. That's his damn sister, he would never be pushed to a crucial point to harm her.

Oh you just know Powder would get on his ass to make sure he looks his best. If he didn't get the message, she would MAKE him get it. All about presentation and she cared about making sure her manbro looked good. She also wants him look familiar to their dad so people can stop heckling him for being the "stand out". Two birds one stone!

They both are victims of pining for each other without knowing the one they love is also in love with them. Your honor it's safe to say they are dumbasses. In Mylo's POV he feels like his shot is missed since he thinks her and Ekko are anything serious but Powder is just using him as a cheap fling to distract herself from her massive crush on Mylo. Mylo feels less guilt having a small attraction for Gert since Powder approves. History will tell him that every girl he's brought up almost ended up without their head so he takes this sign to go for it 😆

Oh yes, I know I touched on Powder being jealous but I just think it also runs in the family. Mylo for sure has a mean jealous streak for Powder being flirted with or openly flirting with other boys. He gets extra sassy with her especially on missions too, throwing jabs and feeling bad when he ends up making her cry. He can't tell her the real reason why he's being an asshole, nobody would understand. So he accepts that role in her eyes and buries his feelings deep down due to his deep rooted insecurity.

If I'm assuming you mean Mylo survives act 3, I believe he would love the twisted things Jinx does to him daily. She gets off to scratching his back and seeing how pissed off he gets but she sees right through it. She always saw through all of his facades. She knows he loves her, he's honestly more bad at showing he hates her. In short Mylo is a total freak but he's one in silence(they match!)

I can see Mylo getting a tattoo as a coping maneuver but Jinx always gets triggered whenever she sees it because she thinks it's so damn goofy. Jinx takes it as a cheesy declaration of his love for her not understanding the context behind it that he fails to offer up. He just nods his head in silence and holds back tears missing her innocence.

The first time Mylo sees Jinx having a meltdown(let's say after seeing Vi again for the first time but she doesn't tell him). He dismisses her as being overdramatic since she always freaks out over the littlest things until she starts cutting herself and for the first time realizes how bad her payche he is. He knew it was after her depressing transformation but he just never knew, it wasn't until Jinx name drops Vi and his heart sinks. He's too overwhelmed to these new developments and pours his heart to his hurting sisters, only able to comfort 1. They both cling to each other knowing they're all they have left. How he distracts her? By letting scratch him instead of herself. He'll accept her scars

Mylo can dish it but he can't take it when it's done to him, he's a master prankster and loves putting people in awkward situations. He laughs it off saying "it's just a prank dude". Powder gets his ass back everytime she catches wind and regurgitates his famous phrase by adding emphasis on the dude but it's all in good fun since they laugh it off regardless.

What can I say? They love starting shit and making out while something is burning in the distance, Mylo enables Jinx's arson tendencies because he knows it'll get him laid faster.

Jinx already has bad communication with Mylo in this timeline he survives but whenever she puts thought into getting him something. He always turns it down not accepting she put thought it, she cries herself to sleep before he comforts her and gives Jinx a cute Keychain with all their siblings names on a monkey. She takes it and hugs him tightly promising him to get a better gift. Mylo secretly loves the strands of hair he gets from her but she'll never know that or does she 😉

You just know Ghost!Mylo taunted the fuck out of her at her breaking point. Jinx was shadow boxing his ass seeing her hits go through him but she welcomes his presence because in her mind she thinks he would badmouth her for killing him but he wouldn't blame her. Instead he'll just give her hug, the real Mylo would forgive and keep loving his sister. Jinx ideally would cry his arms wishing it was true but it's not her reality, her fragile mentality forces her to want to hurt or hate him for haunting her but she deserves it. Yeah her sanity is cooked(poor soul)

Oh boy, we're diving in this territory. Let me put on my NSFW/NSFT gloves on and dive into this!

AU 2x7 Pipebomb's first time would come from a clash of sexual tension,mutual pining and jealousy. It starts with them getting into an argument accusing the other of trying to play with their feelings(they kissed a prior moment but they downplayed it as nothing). I'm sure they would explode into a cathartic bliss of lemon smut between each other, Mylo takes this opportunity as his only chance so he goes rough and fast(he's a quickie boy). Powder embraces his pace and goes with his rhythm, the moment is intense and quick but she loves it. They're both terrified it's the only time they will ever be this intimate with each other so that's why they feel so compelled to be passionate. Powder teases him after sex that his endurance is shit insinuating he wanted to get it over with for lack of Stamina. He just throws a pillow at her saying he didn't want to waste any time if he knew he was going to fuck her. She laughs her out and cuddles with him.

Jinx and Mylo would be...😂 so goddamn freaky since they both match it. You just know their first time would be drawn out, kinky and would feed families with how risqué it would be to witness. Silco definitely was disturbed overhearing them, I can see this version of them alternating and switching between who takes lead. Jinx is absolutely NOT a bottom but she has always gotten turned on at the thought of submitting to her brother, she plays up this fact by never mentioning Mylo's name and only referring to him as her brother because why not? She's Jinx! Mylo totally feels compelled by her energy now that he let his walls down and embrace his deep freak. Mylo is more slow,calculated and careful not to rush this, he actually explores her body and makes sure every part of her is pleased compared to AU Mylo rushes it from a collision of sexual tension(both are valid crashouts). MyPow kinky sex would give Zaun the Thanos treatment if Silco's cold ass is affected.

To close this with Act 1 and how sex would go with him and Powder. It would be so fluffy and cute, Mylo is soft and gentle in this intimate moment. Not slow as a way to explore but slow to be patient with her nervousness. Powder has just confessed go him that she's always had a small crush on him that recently blossomed into infatuation. Mylo returns her feelings but wants to keep it a secret from the others of the fear that they wouldn't accept them. He knows it's risky and wrong but he doesn't care. His love for Powder is stronger, that's why despite their prior conflicts in the pass. He sets this aside in the moment to protect her from potentially harming her with his size since she's tiny(I'll let you decide if our king is packing or not 😄). Powder is scared at first and feels immense pain, he stops everytime to adjust to her comfort. She eventually grows tolerable of the pain and enjoys it with him. A huge difference between the prior two Mylos. It's a surprise since this Mylo has the most animosity and direct issues with her but he's still a huge softie not hardened by the losses of his family(AU Lost Vi, Act 3 lost Claggor and Vander).

To close my thoughts. I love these two, I love the potential, I love the dynamic and I love how they carried my favorite Act of the entire show. Season 1 Act 1 was their story and as tragic that it ends. We still see what could've been in the glimpses of Ghost Mylo and AU MyPow. I hope my answers weren't too convulted or too long, I never want to make you feel uncomfortable either. Thank you and hope you enjoy the lost.

I am the only other person on this earth that ships Pipebomb (Mylo and Powder/Jinx). I love all variations of them, be it Act 1, S2E7, or AUs where Mylo survives the explosion. I have 10+ unfinished fics that will never see the light of day. Out of curiosity, do you have any headcanons for them? I’d be interested in hearing quite literally anything you’d have to say about them, be it sfw or nsfw (just no noncon or dubcon please)

I'm a dubcon enthusiast but I would never force that onto someone else and besides it doesn't connect with MyPow

PipeBomb is such a cute ship name with how ironic(mostly sad) it is since the Powder's monkey bomb causes Claggor's pipe to impale Mylo. What can say I say? Except for the fact MyPow is my favorite ship in the show despite being a nonexistent rarepair that purists think is...too odd for some fucking reason(I don't care but cool ✌)

Mylo and Powder have the perfect ingredients of "pseudo-siblings that hate each other outloud but deep down love each other". I ship them in my non-gaf attitude due to the how intense their relationship was in Act 1 and the potential dynamic they could've had if they were given more time together.

I akin "more time together" as in Vi not unintentionally fueling the personal beef between them. I feel like one on one conversation without the others present would be it all takes for them to be on mutual healthy terms. The bickering never goes away, that's just the charm of their relationship. I HC even in 2x7 that Mylo and Powder still would argue over the most pointless things but it would be less serious and personal.

Mylo for sure had insecurity issues that Powder would've helped mellow out overtime, Mylo just needed reassurance that Powder wasn't a threat to his usefulness or his relationship with Vi. He's jealous and a frail guy, give him a break. He looked up to Vi more than Vander since he could relate to her and she would be the only one to see where he's coming from(Claggor too since that was his boy but you know what I mean). That's where that 1 conversation I mentioned earl

Jinx(Pre-Shimmer anyway) thinks about Mylo in a way where it's toxic and consumes her entire day. She had the most clashes with him out of anyone before she lost her innocence but she never hated him. To her she thinks Mylo died hating her regardless if he was aware of her involvement in his death or not. She holds immense guilt and manic depression over not being able to mend things with Mylo or know what's it like to have a healthy relationship with him. I don't deny they had friendly interactions without any mean-spiritedness(like the target practice game, them both running from the guards and overall the cool down time of no one needing to accept blame for something). Jinx's mind doesn't allow her to remember any positive memories of Mylo, just the blame and his anger. It's her way to cope with despite how much pain it causes her, self-guilt is a BITCH when someone who faults you for most of the group fuck ups as a child then you suddenly cause their death. How could you owe it to yourself to remember them in a good light? It's why she hallucinates him the most too when her mind is at her most fragile, a reminder of the past. The one she lost except it was done by her hands.

This is why, to me anyway why I love them. The romantic-platonic-sibling/family dynamic of their complicated,tragic and sad but overall misunderstood relationship. I can safely say with a fact Mylo always loved Powder but circumstances called for him to give her that tough love even if it wasn't received well by her or Vi for the matter. Deep down Powder knows this but still feels like taking ALL the blame is unfair on her part, so she feels entitled to defend herself which leads to a unfortunate clash of personalities. It's to easy to say siblings will be siblings and they all fight how they did it was so special while also maintaining the realistic principle of where the viewer can resonate with either character's feelings. The one always being blamed or the one always having to blame.

My overall headcanon that can be argued by anyone without a shipping brain: is that Mylo had misplaced self-loathing for himself that he projected onto Powder. One for Jinx is well she took that name after Mylo called her "a Jinx" not Vi but he doesn't take credit for what she becomes(I'll never like anyone who blames him for Powder's mental downfall). She wears the name "Jinx" as a way to both separate from Mylo and connect with him in her confusing way. It's a safety net to kill her past, any reminders of Powder but also not forgetting holding onto the one thing that makes her reflect the most. Mylo calling her a bad luck charm because it turned out to be true, what she feared most was right.

Mylo was right but not in the way you think!

"What would the AO3 tags be for Pipebomb?" That's a very good question anon I assume you would ask. I'm definitely exposition dumping but you deserve to know where my brain lies with them

Age Difference(not a dramatic one since I HC Mylo as 14 and Powder as 9-10)

Pseudo-Incest(they're not blood related but the relationship is sibling-like due to being orphans raised under the same man)

Angst(A lot of arguing because that's the core of their dynamic. They bicker and have verbal clashes)

Unresolved Sexual Tension(I know yall felt that with the subtle glances, glares and stares between them. Especially the cute exchange when Mylo flirts with Gert, you know Powder was biting his wrist not to chew him out for that so she played it cool)

Possessive Behavior(I HC them as "I hate you but I won't let anyone else hate you" kind of messy. They are so infatuated with each other that everyone cease to exist when they get into a argument. Powder kinda squeals when her man gets on her ass for nothing)

Enemies to Lovers(😫✌ the potential was there. We see this literally in 2x7 except the romance is heavily implied. Sorry Timebomb fans)

Hate/Underage Sex(Won't touch too much on this but yeah. Basically 2 kids that have complicated emotions having sex at the "eventual smut" moment in the story)

Alternate Universe: Canon Divergence(Basically what if Mylo survived and was the Savika to Jinx in Act 2 and S2 Act 1. He's not afraid to tell her how it is and set her straight after maturing. He no longer needs to scold her in a condescending way since they have trauma bonded with the loss of their family)

Fluff(Basically a what if Mylo and Powder never argued in Act 1 and he was her best friend to motivate her. He's such a tease and she can't help but blush everytime he mentions how little she is. Her height is her weak point and he always goes for it)

Crack treated Seriously(A unseen rarepair where 1 author treats it as the best thing to write and gives it so much depth,flaws and layers that some of the more popular pairings lack a creative integrity to it. Pipebomb falls in this category that has potential but people allow it to go unnoticed for moral obligations)

Closing thoughts(I could never stop shipping them. I clocked in the first scene Mylo started talking shit and said "oh yeah these two are my babies and I must protect them with my soul". Safe to say my soul is still hurting)
