Pure Peace

"Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God" Psalm 20:7

I had a great time at my bible study last night. Being surrounded by women who are struggling in different areas of their lives is comforting, knowing I'm not the only one who struggles within myself. But what is truly beautiful is hearing us all agree on one monumental truth: knowing that God is in control of every circumstance gives us great peace.

As I read this psalm this morning, I am once again reminded of our Holy God. He never leaves us or forsakes us. He is in the eye of every storm we weather. His faithfulness and goodness remain, and we never need doubt his love and grace.

In a time where the world seems so wild and uncertain, I find comfort in the Lord of my life. I receive pure Peace from my Shepherd, my Strength and my Redeemer.
