MySpace vs Facebook reminiscing
At one point, we could only upload a total of 8 pictures to our MySpace profiles. On Facebook we can upload huge albums with thousands of pictures.
Instead of statuses, we put up bulletins for our friends to see. We used to fill in lots of surveys that we got from eachother.
We also posted blogs, similar to Facebook’s notes.
We sent private messages to each other’s inboxes, but there was no instant messenger. Not at first, anyway. That’s what MSN was for.
Like Facebook, there were also games. No freemium ones- Cake Mania, etc.
There were music pages on MySpace where real bands & singers had a playlist of their music on their page.
We could decorate our pages with youtube videos, glitter graphics, quiz results etc, aswell as changing the colour of our page & customising it. On Facebook we post these sort of things in statuses on our walls, aswell as sharing stuff from each other including funny pictures & memes.
Top 8.
