has your character ever witnessed something that fundamentally changed them? if so, does anyone else know?

death always has a lasting shadow over those it effects and it’s no different for olympia, taking into consideration it was the person she cherished most in her life. though she didn’t witness the happening first hand, the aftermath is really what got her most and i think if she had been there while it happened she would be…. worse off than she is now? and i don’t think she could take that.

she isn’t blatantly open about her mother, when asked she just mentions that she passed away. but i can only think of a few who have asked or she told? chaewon, inae… actually just two WHOOPS but apart from those no one knows the circumstances apart from her family. not like she wants to yell it from the rooftops or something lMAO she’s rly a private girl : ( she doesn’t like talking about her mother at all really. chaewon knows because of their long friendship, inae bc i think it slipped while she was drunk or something idk i hate olympia

and from the course of that the relationship with her father became strained, both pulling away from each other for their own, separate reasons. she’s just a Bitter Baby who doesn’t know how to deal with her emotions properly. end of story that’s all folks

on an average day, what can be found in your character’s pockets?

mmmm. she doesn’t really like to carry bags or anything so her pockets carry all that they can. her phone, card holder. earphones. if push comes to shove and she has too much she’ll carry a bag but she’s so careless that she often forgets when she has it and leaves it unattended and/or just leaves it in general.

does you character have recurring themes in their nightmares?

loss of loved ones, mostly. suffocation, restraint, confinement. also just being lost in general, not being able to find her way back home (wherever that may be.)

what does your character believe will happen to them after they die? does this belief scare them?

agnostic, completely. she’d love to believe in a God but at this point nothing has pushed her toward the faith.

❝ Rewarding? Probably when everything comes together. There’s so much that goes into the final product. Everything starts from an experience, then there’s me staying up at all hours of the night writing down random thoughts and lyrics. Gotta record everythin’ and give it the right vibe. It’s a tedious task, really, I guess that’s why only people that are genuinely passionate about music stick with it. After everything gets finished and I play a track for someone, read comments online or perform for a crowd — that’s the reward. Sometimes it’s scary ‘cause you’re basically wearing your heart on your sleeve but for the most part it’s pretty cool ‘cause you see that people relate and you awaken something in them. As for parts I hate, it’s probably times when people ask me to be something that I’m not. I still got a bit of a ways to go so I’m constantly being put in situations where I have to decide whether or not to do something even if it gives me attention. It’s not really hard to know what I do or don’t want to do but it’s frustrating when people don’t get that I can’t be anythin’ other than myself. If it takes me longer to get noticed by people ‘cause I didn’t sell myself the first chance I got then, well, so be it.

on a quest to buy milk, haru trails along a random aisle in his local convenient store. not a single carton of milk could be found but that’s because he’s in the children’s toy section. even with this knowledge, haru intricately searches for milk in this aisle. ‘where are you hiding, you little bastard... show yourself!’ he grabs a toy car, moving it out of the way to uncover a misplaced item, a dolphin. a mother f*cking dolphin. the image of the villainous animal is triggering to haru because of an incident back in the summer. “no! not again!” he yells at the smiling, perverse dolphin before jumping back and bumping right into the someone.

Speechless. For the first time in her life, Cinder was rendering helplessly speechless. How could I say these things without sounding too... clingy? Yes, it was already a determined fact Mimi had indeed liked the girl, she even said it to her herself; but, it was still something holding her back from truly confessing how much adoration, respect, and just flatout love Cinder had posessed for her. There weren't enough hours in a day for her to do it all, words in the dictionary to describe it-- it was all just too much to put into anything but action (mainly just ridiculous amounts of platonic hugs and endless compliments). But she knew Akali had a 'no touching Mimi' rule. Cinder would rather sacrifice her life to Satan and be reborn as another sacrifical sheep in a never ending vicious cycle than go against anything her senpais had to say. Suddenly realizing she looked foolish just standing there without saying anything, and not wanting to offend the other girl, she gave that damn goofy grin Mimi had seen far too often. "I cherish Mimi a lot! It's just that simple! No further questions, I plea the fifth." But it was far more complex than that.

she got into a fight yet again. it wasn’t uncommon, a fight to her is like pills that someone has to take for their health. fights for her was some kind of staple-- although it wasn’t food it sure did feed her ego. she didn’t mean to call her over. it was just a one-time thing, probably. there was a swelling at her cheeks from the hit she took, she wondered sometimes how her face wasn’t as scarred as it was meant to be. maybe she was lucky enough that she healed fast and that there weren’t any scars. “jail bait, huh. even if i’m a jail bait, they still want to have sex with me. they’re throwing themselves out for jail by having those thoughts. i have no intention, so when i reject them and they get rowdy- what? it’s my fault? didn’t think so. fuck these double standards.” with a roll of her eyes, her arms folded across her chest before scoffing. “i’m standing in front of you without handcuffs around my wrist. isn’t it obvious that they didn’t catch me yet? they won’t, and they never will.”
