Got some slightly disappointing news today. Applied for a program and wasn't picked this time. Not a huge deal but it would have been not only very cool but also helpful as I advance as an artist. Not everything will go your way in life and I think the best reaction to things like this is to own it and move on. I will run my time as if I did get in and focus on the things I planned to focus on anyway. More transformative turnings, more concept and more sculpture. This new project will be transformative. Not sculptural but will give me some experience on a couple techniques I wanted to try anyway. Don't let disappointment drag you down.
