TOP 10 MUSIC GROUPS ON FANFICTION.NET BASED ON NUMBER OF FANFICTION (1999-2002)
To make this bar chart race, all series titles in the Music Groups Section on November 29 (or the closest date to it) of every year were copy-pasted from Wayback Machine to Google Sheets, rearranged according to number of fanworks, and then inputted to Flourish to turn into a bar chart race.
FFN used to allow Real Person Fics up until October 12th, 2002.
Please refer to this post for more bar chart races.
Thanks for understanding and hopefully I didn’t mess up anywhere! 🙏

Boy Bands of the 90′s
I’ve talked about the 90′s boy bands before but i want to mention a few other things. I grew up with the bands such as Backstreet Boys and N Sync, 98 degrees, and O town to name a few. When i think aback to those bands and that time in my life, i am instantly brought back to when i was a teenager and that is a really great feeling. I’m 37 now and would give anything to relive some of those times when i obsessed over boy bands all over again. I admit to loving Backstreet Boys to this day and the minute i hear one of their popular songs from the 90′s i am instantly taken back in time. I feel the same way when i hear an N sync song or any of those bands from that period. I admit however to feeling slightly sad as well. I am not 14 anymore and all the boys in Backstreet Boys are married and have children and at times it makes me feel SO old. 37 is not old in general but thinking back to when i was a teenager, i often miss those simpler times. If anyone else feels this way please reblog and share your memories of this decade of Boy bands.
