Meant for each other
Hey everyone, I’m still alive! After technical issues and a huge art block, I’m back. I’m trying to have ideas, I love these characters to just leave them.

Day 9: MC (Miena) Spring Wedding Outfit
The Pros and Cons of Dating Naih Anbolho
Pros:
Tidy: She alphabetizes her bookshelves. Perpetually unblemished. Better yet, she does not track water across the floor.
Educated: If all else fails, she can speak of the wonders of aetherology. Or bore a significant other to sleep with mathematical formulae.
Long Fuse: One will need to work hard to earn her hatred.
Wealthy: The scion of a family more wealthy than they are famous. Said family is quite apathetic about what such a fortune is spent on.
Stiff Upper Lip: Whether she be standing on the receiving end of a disapproving glare, a vile recrimination, or a barrel of a gun, she will remain collected.
Cons:
Great Wall: If a personal demon perches on her shoulder, chances are one will not hear of it from her. And she has more than a handful of those.
Nearsighted: She cannot pick up on social cues. For that matter, she cannot help one find their missing glasses.
Quiet: If anyone instigates conversation, it isn’t her.
Failure Hero: Her ego has been shattered recently and she is still picking up the pieces. She does not trust herself to make hard decisions.
Non-Romantic: If one wants sweet nothings whispered in their ears, look elsewhere.

Entry 30: This One
Dear Kaiara,
I am writing from the med bay again, but this time it is not my own injuries keeping me here. The shadows found information on key people within The Lighthouse and yesterday we split into groups to find and end them. I went with Arik, Emeline, Corsa’ir, Naih, and Katalin. We were to track down the demon child that had attacked Katalin in our previous attack on the group and that broke and cursed our ship. The fight went well with only Corsa’ir taking any real damage. The child ended up being no child but a demon inhabiting the body like it was some kind of horrifying armor. I do not wish to talk much about it.
When we returned to the ship, Ashe was waiting in the med bay. Her group had also been successful and she had a bag of odd reagents from their target for Emeline to look at. Her group also seemed to come away with only minor injuries. The final group, the one that had Z’ylarix, Rosette and Saphyra in it, had not yet returned. I will admit I began to worry. It was only made the worse as the reports started coming through the linkshell. They sounded hurt, badly. Most everyone else cleared out of the med bay to give the healers room to work. I could not. I had to know, to see if they would be ok. I offered whatever help I could give to Emeline and we prepared for the worst.
Z’ylarix was escorted in by Jun, I didn’t see much of what was wrong, but I trust Jun to take care of her. The other two took mine and Emeline’s full attention. Rosette was leaning heavily on Saphyra and both were covered in blood. I took Rosette to the operating table and then made room as Katalin came back to help with the medical stuff. Saphyra was very worried for Rosette and I wanted to try and keep her calm and to see if she was injured as well. She said she wasn’t hurt, but there was a deep wound on her side and heavy bruising around it. Emeline had to call Mafrea to help Rosette, apparently some void thing had infected her. That was going to take some time and so Emeline came and cast a quick healing spell on Saphyra. Then Rosette screamed and I saw something crack in Saphyra, some mental thing that just shut off. She began to refer to herself as ‘this one’ and wasn’t making much sense. Emeline told me to hold her that she was in shock and so I did and we talked about nothing and eventually I brought her to one of the beds so she could sleep.
I had been doing so well at containing myself up until now, to hold the rage in. I don’t want to be like I was when they found me in Corethas. So I have been holding the monster back. Seeing Saphyra hurting without feeling it, seeing her shut down, I did not want to hold it back any more. I wanted to find whatever did this and let it loose even though I’m sure it’s already dead. I never want to see Saphyra hurting like that again. Even just writing about it is making me mad... It is late now and I fear I will wake those asleep should I continue.
