What's your biggest pet peeve when people use Raven in their works? (Like, treating him just as That Certain Shipchild's brother, ignoring his disability, etc)
And what's something you like when people use him in their works?

Pet peeves:
- people ignoring his disability(making him use magic)
- being reduced to Goth’s brother, it usually comes with justifying Goth treating Raven badly or making him mean for like . No reason
- any work inspired by jessyDS or underwent, any work that doesn’t follow Echoi’s boundaries etc
- any Raven x women ships, they 90% of time work better platonically and Raven needs more friends
- both extremes of “Raven is dumb” and “Raven has to be serious 24/7” because both are wrong. Raven is a jokester and has his own internal struggles, he wouldn’t be serious 24/7 but he’s not a happy-go-lucky either and sometimes he does explode !!!!!!
- people making his scarf into a cape because it looks stupid
- people forgetting Raven is a teenager in 2017
- people using any adult design that isn’t made or inspired by echoi’s(and some designs that r inspired still pmo because they take away any interesting thing in it for ?? No reason)
Awesome stuff I like:
- when it’s clear the person has done their research before, sometimes u can there’s research behind the way they write Raven even if it’s a completely different variant(cough @problems-exe)
- people exploring growing up being disabled and feeling like he has to constantly be there for others, exploring his relationships(and lack of them) with that context and his anger issues/entering in a fight or flight mode,, bonus if autistic + OCD + N/BPD and low empathy Raven etc
- when Raven being treated badly has actual importance instead of haha joke
- when ravenprint is explored more with how both lack communication skills & how Print views Raven etc, i also like poly Raven a lot but only applies to my Very Specific Ship,, (<- has my own evil concepts for ships)
- any content that involves Raven and Reaper + Life in rt soriel context, any content that involves Raven and reapertale, any content that involves Raven and (step)siblings* that aren’t Goth etc etc
*also includes fatal error/error kids
- People giving him friends that actually fit him
- Raven taking care of . Kids n stuff… particularly Raven kids or his siblings but any kid can apply here
- blasian & albino + intersex (human but can apply to skele if ur based)Raven,, when people give him wings but make them lacking pigment(albino) + also affected by his scar
- any pronouns Raven, exploring his relationship with gender ?? And also exploring his “softer” side which he sees as weaker etc, exploring his fear of being perceived as weak and how that connects to internalized issues . Which is also why I like intersex Raven were he’s raised as a guy but starts developing more feminine . I like when people give him body dysmorphia and dysphoria
i don’t think enough people are talking about the uh, drunk guy’s brother in rosswood tbh. like yeah the jokes of him being a douchebag whatever,
y’all he was taken by the operator in the tunnel, the younger brother witnessed it and survived. it was the first evidence we had of the operator mimicking voices because he described it, but uh i think a really important thing no one is really talking about is like. yeah the girls had no memory of him or his brother and they were sick too, but no one seems to have a memory of his brother. like. Jodi did research on disappearances and didn’t mention him. no missing posters. no brother. he keeps repeating no brother.
