Started a new paint job on the disneybounding arm. Couldn’t find a metallic black so I compromised by mixing metallic pewter with black to darken it but make sure it still had a bit of a sheen. I also have dog tags, tac pants, tac boots and a fingerless glove to go with it, ala Thunderbolts*!Bucky’s complicated wardrobe. XD Very excited to wear the full getup in 4 weeks and manspread everywhere.

Still in the midst of vacation. About to have fun at the Halloween party at California Adventure.

Officially 3 weeks away from vacation. Got the first of a few disneybounding outfits today.

I am 100% ready to dive back into fic. The finish line for this workhorse is in sight.

Was out for 4 hours this morning with the Madre and the pups and kits. Now time for lunch and fic writing.

My desire to wear my Her Universe Loki jacket out to a friend’s bday dinner during one of the few times of year it’s appropriate outweighs the sobering knowledge that I will be repeatedly untangling my hair from the shoulder studs the entire time I wear it.

Got complimented by like 3 nurses at the covid vaccine site on my tank top. Vaccination thing done for yours truly, now just need to deal with the immune response and write fic for the next two and a half days.

Woman at the check in counter (and behind 3 counter to ceiling walls of plexiglass) at the gym: Does your hair stay in a braid?

Me, pausing in my steps to the sanitizer bottles: What?

Woman: Do you have a tie in your hair? Or does it just stay in a braid?

Me: No tie. It’s a head of tentacles masquerading as hair so it just grabs onto itself upon contact and doesn’t unravel.
