I’m going to answer this with the Light On Me Characters as I just did a rewatch of the show for their 2 year anniversary!

#5~ Da On~ I feel he’s like me in that he like would to get things done, stay on task and still helps others! To me teamwork is amazing 😉

#6 ~ Namgoong –He is always looking out for his friends -by giving them advice, making them laugh when they are sad or at least lightening the mood when they are mad, I loved the way he stood up to other people who talk bad about his friends (I tend to this even when they don't ask me too) and well like him I can be a tad dramatic!! (Now I just need his to have his confidence level and dance skills and I will the female version of him-LOL) 😉

#7~ Shin Woo - Like him~ I protect those I care about. (Sometimes even when they don’t ask for me to step in) I hate seeing others being picked on or taken advantage of so I will stand up for them. I’m feel that I’m like him in a way that if I don’t know someone I can come across as being rude or not approachable by my face expressions. I really am a nice person though you just need to give me a chance to get to know you first. Also I would do anything for the one I love ❤️ even step away from them if they are happy elsewhere!!

can we just talk about how much respect all the boys have for each other in light on me? like daon is in the wrong and EVERYONE knows he's in the wrong. and most shows would have taekyung be bitter and petty and demand shinwoo and namgung take his side. But he doesn't. Because they're still daon's friends, and taekyung knows that. And as upset as he (rightly) is at Daon he doesn't want Shinwoo/Namgung to exclude him. He genuinely listens to namgung/shinwoo defending daon. And the one night Taekyung doesn't want to hear any more of shinwoo defending he doesn't say anything like 'im sick of hearing about daon' or explode about how daon is in the wrong. He just says 'tonight, just be MY friend. just take my side'. Just for one night.

Yes they're so mature and understanding and i love it! They understand that Daon hurt Taekyung, but they also feel for Daon and the situation he's in and try to support him as well as Taekyung through this rough time. Honestly I found it best encapsulated by Shinwoo's conversation with Taekyung at his house, empathizing with and explaining Daon's perspective, and then he went "that was as Daon's friend, but as Taekyung's friend-" which i think is a lovely balance! Sometimes both sides have valid reasons for how they're reacting and why they can't currently reconcile, sometimes there's no straight-forward "bad guy" that everyone turns on, and I think it's great of Light On Me to show the boys being supportive friends to both of them, and for not having Taekyung hate Daon but still acknowledging that he's really been hurt by him.
