Successful board game weekend 🥰
Continuing with the commission I did for one of my friends. He got the tabletop game “Namiji” via Kickstarter (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/funforge/namiji-the-next-chapter-in-the-tokaido-universe?lang=de). Well the paintjob of the minis was not to his liking and so he gave those 10 little ships to me. This is the one called “Noh” (what ever that means^^). The difference should be obvious. First the artwork, then the grim reality and finally my painted version. :-)
Also pretty happy at how the water turned out.

I could not physically paint all the detailed symbols on the flags. The minis are somewhere between 2 -3 cm all in all. There might be people out there that can paint 1/10 of a millimeter, but I sure cant! :D
12th December 2023
Blue and Pink were just finishing their supper when Plum and Byzantium arrived, soon followed by Pine, Black and Purple, Teal, Ivory, and finally Lime. And then it was who would play the “Feature Game“, Namiji, and who would play something else. The decision was pretty much made when…

Next Meeting, 12th December 2023
Our next meeting will be Tuesday 12th December 2023. As usual, we will start playing shorter games from 7.30pm as people arrive, until 8pm when we will start something a little longer. The pub is doing food, and the table is booked from 6.30pm for those that would like to eat first. This week, the “Feature Game” will be Namiji (rules, review and How to Play video), which is a Time-track game,…

This was the ship with the most brittle mast. I actually broke off the moment I took the ship out of the box. So here too, I had to strengthen the mast with a steel wire.

Sorry for not putting up a picture of the front. I made one but it is really shaky and therefore not postable. ;-)
