WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS 2.04
Thinking about when Guillermo hid from the Baron in Nandor’s coffin and Nandor opened the lid and made THAT FACE
THATS HIS BED! He’s processing that the guy he’s been pining over for thirteen years is in his BED!
#He’s not homophobic, just jealous <3
guillermo can’t fuck his boss! the coffin isn’t osha compliant
So a boss/employee relationship is toxic and an unhealthily imbalanced relationship
But a man resurrecting his wife who has no knowledge or experience of the modern world due to having been dead hundreds of years, using magic intervention to brainwash her so she physically can’t think for herself, and then treating her like a child treats a pet they got for Christmas then bored of is fine and funny?
Ok WWDITS. Ok
It's taken me so long to make this post for several reasons, but it doesn't matter, LISTEN, I need to talk about how COMPETENT Nandor was in the last episode, like excuse me??
Let us begin:
Now, of course, there was the fact that Nandor immediately knew how to turn Guillermo into a full vampire, in contrast to Laszlo's experimentation for weeks to no avail (probably due to him being the oldest and having the most knowledge and experience).
But there's also the fact that he KNEW Guillermo wasn't ready to be a vampire, even when Guillermo himself didn't know.
He was ready to do what Guillermo himself couldn't just to make him happy.
He also had Guillermo's glasses on hand because he knew the outcome of the ceremony beforehand, and he was being so considerate.
He knew what had to be done this entire episode, and honestly, he has shot up into the list of my top 10 favorite characters because of this. He genuinely was so rational, serious, forgiving, and again, competent (something we don't see him as that often).
He was empathetic and kind to Guillermo throughout his journey to being human again, and I honestly wish their relationship was more like it was in this last episode.
unfortunately, i can only add 10 pictures to this post, so I'll make a follow-up post with things I couldn't fit here.
Update: follow-up post.
My favorite ship dynamic isn’t grumpy x sunshine, it’s sunshine x vitamin D deficient.
