Summary: Khaotung runs into his ex at a work party
Note: I wrote this fic 2 weeks after my breakup because I'm a pathetic loser. This is NOT the place for shipping discourse because that is not what this is about at all.
Note2: RATINGS HAVE CHANGED!!!!!! Also there is infidelity.
Khaotung always reaches a point in the evening where it gets to be a bit much. There was a time that Joong didn’t really get that, he’d get really worried that Khaotung was not enjoying himself then get fussy about it, always trying to help or cheer him up, or declare they need to leave. But really, Khaotung could be having the best time of his life and well, sometimes he still just needed a breath to himself.
Joong gets that now, and he can’t help the little bloom of fondness in his chest when Joong takes one look at his face, kisses him on the cheek and lets go of his arm. Joong continues the conversation they were in, drawing all attention towards him so Khaotung could make his escape. He makes his way to one of the balconies attached to the ballroom, the smallest one at the very corner, one that’s unlikely to be used.
He walks in and snorts a laugh, there’s a figure there leaning on the balcony and looking out into the gardens.
He can really only see the figure from the back, but it’s a figure he would recognize anywhere; from just a silhouette, from the cut of his suit and the breadth of his back, the way he cocks his hips or taps his foot. It’s a body he knows well, one his eyes have secretly followed all night just out of habit, stray curiosity borne out of the convenience of being at the same party.
Of course, of course First is here, exactly where Khaotung was trying to run away from him, exactly, always in Khaotung’s path, as though there is only one place where Khaotung can run towards–
They’re at this party together, on this balcony, perhaps, even by chance. Khaotung closes the door behind him.The click gets First’s attention who turns around and cocks one eyebrow - and then - he smiles.
Khaotung releases a breath he didn’t realize he was holding; flooding with relief. Things between them were never bad, even at the end there was a lot of love but it ended and First had, First had been incredibly sad - Khaotung doesn’t know how he could ever deal with First’s hatred.
First turns back around to look at the view and a lump forms in Khaotung’s throat anew as he approaches him. Khaotung forgot that he doesn’t know what First’s smiles mean anymore, hadn’t for a long time. He keeps a polite distance between them when he joins First at the railing, it’s thick, made of stone, Khaotung leans forward on his elbows just like First.
“I should have guessed I’d find you here,” Khaotung says.
First looks at him softly and says, “You taught me that it was okay,” and Khaotung wishes he could stop First from looking at him, from desperately wanting First’s eyes on him, “To take a minute for myself.” First finishes.
“Oh, then. I guess I should find a different hiding place then.”
“No. it’s okay.’ First says, flashes him a toothy grin and for a second Khaotung is terrified that it will be First who walks out of the balcony, making some excuse about how he’s fine now and Khaotung should use the privacy to decompress, “You’re not in the way.” He finishes.
Khaotung wants to know if First means it in the way that it is for him. That Khaotung can’t conceive a single hiding place in the world for himself where First isn’t also invited. He wants to ask, is aching to know the answer whether they’re the same, whether they’re still on the same page and his throat burns from the memory of the time where he never needed to think about what was okay to say to First.
Khaotung pulls a pack of smokes from his pocket, flips it open so First can see inside. First leans over to take a peek and giggles when he sees it contains Khaotung’s home rolled joints.
“Really, ‘Tung? You want to light up here?” He says, still smiling, wrapping the ‘Tung’ in his mouth with the exasperated fondness that grounds Khaotung; tells him that everything is alright, that ‘Tung’ is more than just sadness or disappointment for First. Khaotung shrugs with a playful expression, “Like you’re not going to join me.”
First makes a sputtering noise in his throat, like he still somehow has space to be surprised at Khaotung’s audacity as Khaotung puts a joint between his lips and pulls his lighter out.
“What if someone walks in on us?” First says, turning nervously back towards the door. First truly always was the entirety of his impulse control. Khaotung manages to light it up after a few shaky clicks of his lighter, the heat around his fingers a sharp contrast to the cool breeze of the night. He takes a long puff of it, attributes the way his hand shakes when he holds it out to First, to the lightheadedness caused by the smoke.
“I locked the door.”
First’s expression when he takes the joint from him is unreadable, their fingers tangling just so for the briefest of seconds.
~
Sandwiched between the noise and chatter of the party from behind the doors of the balcony and the silence of the crickets in the night ahead of them, Khaotung wishes to stay here forever in this in-between place where First giggles next to him, shoulder to shoulder, uninhibitedly.
He’s teetering on the edge, has been flirting with letting all inhibitions go - First is explaining something funny that happened on set or some such other place - and Khaotung just wants to press his face into First’s arm, a place to rest the heat on his cheeks. First’s hand comes around to brush the hair off Khaotung’s forehead, pressing his fingers against his temples before he’s really thought it through and Khaotung is emboldened to inch closer still, slide his cheeks up the slope of First’s shoulder until his nose is right up in against the crook of his neck, brushing every so slightly against his bare skin, enough to fill Khaotung’s head with a madness that pushes everything out of focus.
“Tung’, why did you lock the door?” First sounds aloof, distant but Khaotung can feel how tense he is, they’re so close that First can’t hide anymore.
And neither can Khaotung.
Khaotung crashes into his lips, an awkward press into his teeth before First has had time to fully move into the kiss. But oh- when First finally pulls him in, clutching desperately at his waist as he gives in to Khaotung, opens his mouth - Khaotung feels his whole world spin, consequences melting away around him. Their tongues tangle and Khaotung chases that taste with a hunger that is his only reality; a yearning that is his only destination.
First’s back hits the wall and Khaotung can finally press into him, rabid; a creature that only knows to chase and move against the heat of First’s hands desperately scrabbling at his shirt, so he can untuck it and slide his hands up Khaotung’s back, lighting a fire against his skin, cooling and easing the cloying feeling in his chest.
It has been such a while since ive said this but!! ask and you shall receive!!!!!! Flounder reveal under the cut. But can you really not guess ^^'
NOW you guys should guess who the prince is
Part 2 of FirstKhao Little Mermaid AU
Part1
The date was - to say the least - unsalvageable after that point. Khaotung pushes the boat towards the shore and climbs off, First still laid out across his forearms. Khaotung hands a handkerchief to the prince, more a gesture than anything else, since he’s covered in mud up to his waist. The prince smiles and dabs at his face. Khaotung frowns and stares intensely at his chest, like he’s upset that the prince has chosen not to take his shirt off.
Honestly, First thinks that these two should have just started there but he supposes, a true love’s kiss has to be momentous; special, maybe even grand.
They ride back together, the prince courteous as ever jumps down first to give Khaotung a hand, kissing it gently once Khaotung is safely down on the ground. First sees Khaotung’s face crack into a giddy looking smile.
“Oh, so you did get a new pet!” The prince exclaims when he sees him. Khaotung’s smile only gets bigger as he excitedly pulls First out.
“Oi!!!!! I’m not your pet!!!” First yells and watches a devilish little smile come across Khaotung’s face as he silently giggles and the prince too looks thoroughly charmed at First seemingly just snapping his claws and bobbing angrily.
“I’ll see you for dinner after I clean up?” The prince asks and both First and Khaotung nod enthusiastically. Maybe their second chance at this might come sooner than he’d thought. Kissing at night is way better, there’s darkness and mood lighting, maybe an after dinner stroll through the palace gardens where it's less wet and musty - he can ask Pond to bring some of his firefly friends - that feels pretty darn grand.
Grand enough for a true love’s kiss, even.
Which is good, that their spirits are significantly more up by the time they get back to Khaotung’s room, because as soon as the door starts creaking open, there’s excited little splashes and a cheerful bellow of, “P’Firrr!! P’Khaotung!!!! How did it goooooooooooooooo?” Joong is swimming excitedly in his little aquarium, splashing his tail from side to side in his excitement.
Khaotung shakes his head as they enter, First finally hopping out of the indignant position of being carried. He can scurry just fine, thank you very much. But humans don’t take too kindly at the sight of a crab on the loose so he has to tolerate it sometimes
“Oh no! What went wrong? Was the prince boring?” Joong says nearly jumping out of the aquarium in solidarity with Khaotung’s angst, “But it still went well? Of course it did! Who can help but love P’Khaotung. P’Khaotung can have anyone he wants. He’s the best.” Joong says, working up into a worry and calming down all on his own. Which is for the best, since Khaotung can’t talk anyway and First doesn’t want to announce that it was his fault.
“It was all my fault.” First says after a few minutes of not being able to take the guilt, “They had nearly kissed.” Khaotung shakes his head emphatically then mouths, “Fir did well,” at them with a little thumbs up, headed with a purpose towards the soft looking bed with its abundance of soft looking pillows. He opens his mouth as though he’s making a satisfied little “Ahhh~~~” sound when his back hits the bed
“Why didn’t it happen?” Joong finally says after circling around the aquarium once, “What could P’Fir have done?” Joong gasps like he’s suddenly realizing something. “Did P’Fir finally confess?”
First nearly launches straight up into the sky with how suddenly he jumps into the aquarium tackling Joong. They tussle for a bit with Joong flapping his fins in alarm while First desperately gets a claw over his mouth. “HA HA HA.” First laughs emphatically, as he floats in the water, swirling and twirling while Joong still struggles to break free, “confess how UGLY I think the castle is. HA! HA!”
But First needn’t have bothered, which he discovers when his rambling is interrupted by one quiet little snore. Khaotung is already curled up in bed, over the blankets, sleeping. First hops out of the aquarium and shakes the water off him; heart pounding with how casually Joong nearly gave his secret away.
First sighs in relief when he approaches Khaotung and confirms that he’s peacefully asleep. First tries not to linger on how lovely Khaotung looks like this; face slack and without the little furrow between his eyebrows that keeps getting deeper the closer they inch towards the witch’s deadline.
They have at least an hour until dinner, he figures Khaotung can have at least half an hour of respite, First climbs up onto Khaotung’s pillow, then settles down somewhere above his head, resting against the soft pillowy strands of Khaotung’s hair.
Yes, they can definitely afford a half hour’s respite, First thinks as he too drifts off to sleep.
not a blurb i j can’t stop thinking abt ron and shy!reader. not innocent or inexperienced. just very shy. you don’t talk to anyone except ron and nobody knows much about you.
of course you’re always there with ‘the golden trio.’ sitting with them at meals, tagging along to hagrid’s hut, sitting with them in the courtyard, studying with them in the library. where the golden trio goes, you go. or well… where ron goes you go would be a better statement.
however, you and ron are a very… hands on couple. whether you’re attached at the lip, or his hand is around your waist as you walk, or you’re standing in front of him with his hands wrapped around your middle, or he’s holding your hand as you walk through the halls, or you’re hanging off of his arm like a koala while he talks to his friends. point is… you’re always touching each other somehow.
this causes for you two to he caught in very compromising positions on multiple occasions. whether it be a kiss leading to far or one of you just wanting a little bit of loving. and just your luck… or misfortune you guess… it’s always harry and the twins who find the two of you.
hidden in an alcove in the halls of hogwarts, your back against the wall as ron’s hands roam your sides and your’s tangle in his hair while his tongue is dancing around the inside of your mouth. you two don’t pull away untill you see a flash, and hear the distinct click of a camera shutter and loud laughter from ron’s three brothers (including harry).
it never fails to make you flush and your entire body to heat up in embarrassment, pushing your face into ron’s neck as you whine softly at being caught… again. ron can’t help but let out a chuckle with a proud smirk as he soothingly rubs your back, cooing softly against your ear.
“again guys?” harry asks, laughing along with the twins.
“can’t help that m’girls so bloody pretty,” ron shrugs nonchalantly.
“c’mon y/l/n, if y’gonna be a weasley you gotta stop being so shy,” george teases, pinching the cheek that wasn’t laid against ron’s shoulder.
“yeah… or just stop dry humping our brother at every hall in the castle,” fred jokes, causing the three boys to let out a loud cackle.
and man… you’ve never felt so betrayed in your life. but you’ve also never felt more loved.
HCs on how Mer Jotaro spends the day in YNs house and how he interacts with Jolyne's friends?
Mer!Jotaro, our beloved and grumpy merman has a few choice words for each and everyone of them but this is how it goes...
Mer!Jotaro interacting with the SO Pod
When it come to Anasui Jotaro finds himself annoyed immediately, before Anasui can even speak a word Jotaro finds himself glaring in the other merman’s direction to silence him. Anasui, quite smitten with Jolyne, tries to pry information from Jotaro only to be threatened to keep away from Jolyne, or he’d find himself strung up.
Jotaro gets along with Ermes, she’s the strong silent type and he respects it. Ermes however has a few choice words for the merman. How could he abandon his only child? What took him so long? She spends majority of time interrogating him. Sure he’s Jolyne’s dad but that doesn’t get her to forgive him for the hurt Jolyne’s endured in his absence. Definitely time for some self-reflection.
And well when it comes to Foo, Jotaro himself has so many questions, she’s a bit odd and why is she...rolling? He admires her tenacity and pitties how naive she can be at times. He definitely begins to consider whether or not FF would even be safe back out at sea, but he figures if she has the others she’ll be okay.
Jolyne and Jotaro have a lot of catching up to do. Jolyne’s tells her father what the aquarium had done, how the found themselves captured, the performances they had to put on, and all about Pucci and the other merfolk still back at the aquarium. Jotaro is bothered by his daughters words, but he’s honestly just happy to have her back and safe.
As for you though, you can see the look in his eyes. The way he becomes silent when you walk in during a conversation, he’s not crazy about you, but he has to admit he is grateful for your hospitality but most of all for saving his daughter and her friends. But why he asks, are you expecting anything in return? Money? A reward? But when he hears you say it was the right thing to do, well his little stone heart, softens a bit. Humans had always been cruel in his eyes, but you were a bit different.
The others give Jotaro a tour of your home, from the kitchen, to the fridge, to the family room, and even show him your bedroom along with somethings you warned Anasui to stay out of. Jotaro for the first time smiles, granted at your expense, but still it’s a start.
You tell Jotaro stories about the aquarium, how long you’ve been working there, and what it is that you did. A care taker you say, you helped keep the creatures their healthy and happy, through feedings, making sure their habitats were stimulating, and just their general well being. You confirm with him that Pucci was the one looked over them and their “rehabilitation”.
Once rested and feeling up to it Jotaro let’s everyone know it’s time to return to sea, time to go home for good. There’s hesitation though. Not everyone is ready to say goodbye, the pod finds it difficult to leave you after everything you’ve been through together. Jotaro assures them that they’ll be fine. Jolyne and the others don’t leave though, not until you promise to come see them.
((Ive been listening to King by the amazing devil and i needed to get this out of my head))
They go to the coast. But that doesn’t mean they find peace.
Geralt is a haunted man. Jaskier knows this. He knows the Witcher better than he knows himself at times. Has sung his praises from the islands of Skellige to the Kestral Mountains, has lamented his failures and spun his regrets into gold. He knows what burns in the depths of Geralt’s heart, knows the monsters that lurks in the shadows of his mind, the ones that cannot be slayed by steal or silver.
Waves break against the cliff face in a thunderous crash. Winds howling, ripping at their hair and pulling at their cloths. The spray of salt stings their eyes, burns in their noses.
The sea is angry, unforgiving, cutting as the swing of a sword. The sky is dark, a low hanging sheet of cast iron grey. It throws all his shadows into a sharp relief, his eyes are flat, molten gold cooled to a dull, glassy amber.
It’s all painfully poetic. Heartbreakingly metaphoric.
Too see Geralt standing at the precipice of a gathering storm, his white hair swirling around him, his cheeks wind whipped and flushed. His eyes hooded, ringing by dark circles.
He sleeps now, however fitfully.
Jaskier sings to him in the dark, fingers itching. They long to smooth over his Witcher’s brow, to comb through his hair, but they clutch at his lute strings instead, and he sings. Because it’s all he knows.
It helps.
He sees it in the line of Geralt’s shoulders, relaxing however slightly. But even the Master Poet cannot sing loud enough to drown out a storm. It’s a salve on a wound, providing only temporary relief. So instead, he squirrels them away to the coast of Kovir, in an old fisherman’s hut at the top of the sea cliff, and he barres the door.
He holds his Witcher as close and he’ll allow and they wait for the storm to pass.
- I am putting a hiatus on Fluff Monday and Angst Wednesday. There will be no fic tomorrow due to the fact that it was deleted and it’s so important to me that I don’t want to rush it!!!
Second SUPER EXCITING! The main reason I will postpone Fluff Monday and Angst Wednesday is because October is approaching extremely fast and I have TONS of horror stories I’d like to write!! October will only include horror stories (possibly angst) to set to mood for Screamtober!!
I will be posting a list of all the fics I will be writing tomorrow and you guys will get to choose which goes out first and tell me which ones you’re excited for, I will not postpone fantasy Friday because it’s an actual story and I’d like to be consistent with that fic so those who wanted to be on the tag list will be tagged!! Fluff Monday’s and Angst Wednesday will return November 1, 2020 till then I will be using this time to write the Screamtober fics! It will range and so many characters will get their piece!
You’ll get yandere, stalking, trick or treating, ghost stories, even American Horror Story inspired murder house with one of our dead (🥺) characters but do not be fooled some (barley any) of these stories are not for the purpose of falling in love... anyways I hope you guys are okay with it see you all on Friday for the next chapter of ‘The dragon kings queen’ tag list is also open for that!
I am not the anon obsessed with JimmyFirst I am another anon who wonders if you're susceptible to flattery/begging to make you write some JF.
If so: please please write it I really love your FK and FKJ stuff it would be lovely even though it's not my birthday.
Will also take First with just about anyone I ship him with everyone who looks at him. FirstPrem, absolutely. FirstJimmy, yes, FirstJoong, why not. FirstTay, yep. FirstKhaotung, of course do I look like a joke to you.
EDIT: I've released this fic before oops! But there's more! Though still no juicy stuff I am surprisingly reluctant to write smut lol
EDIT 2: ANON YOU MEANT JIMMYFIRST WHEN YOU SAID JF AKSDJAHFLDJGL and yes I think I have a JimmyFirst making out in a closet somewhere????
Hah! I'm glad I got a chance to revive this fic I rather like it. If you like it and don't mind cheating I can...continue it?
NOTE: This AU is set during the THK filming era and is...I suppose canon - as in the real world- compliant and/or adjacent.
Joong has known about Pond’s new boyfriend; Phuwin has been giggling mysteriously about this apparently charming individual for weeks. But Pond has kept this man so finely under wraps that Joong has suspected that he was just another one of Pond and Phuwin’s pranks.
Except he’s here in the flesh, all bright smiles and excited gestures as he chats animatedly into a group totally enamored with him. Pond’s hand is curled just so on his hip like it’s the most natural thing, like he doesn’t notice the way it caresses his body every time he moves, every time he turns those big, beautiful brown eyes back towards Pond, smiling goofily at each other.
When Phuwin had texted that tall, dark and handsome was going to be there tonight, Joong had half suspected some anime cosplayer to show up, though the way that First Kanaphan sparkles when he speaks, seemingly padding about his days basked in the gentle halo of his goodness, the description doesn’t feel far off.
He takes a quick swig of his drink, doesn’t think of the way First had winked at him earlier when he’d caught Joong staring at his muscular chest while changing out of his Kant costume. Joong has agonized for some time, whether First is just like that, naturally flirty and sweet. He holds the door open for everyone, listens to the old cafeteria lady’s stories about her grandchildren from start to finish every time, waits on Khaotung hand and foot or if there really was something in the way that he–
“Sorry Nong Joong.” The words cut him out of his thoughts, as First takes the spot next to him. And there it is, that kind and gentle smile, soulful, inviting eyes lulling him into an ease, “I know it might come as a surprise since we see each other nearly every day now. But Pond told me he wanted to be the one to tell his friends.” First’s hands come to rest behind his shoulders, and he’s leaning far too close into Joong’s side; his natural musk masked underneath a woodsy cologne, the heat of his breath falling across Joong’s face, the breadth of his chest so inviting.
Captivating.
From up close like this, Joong doesn’t even mind that every other word out of First’s mouth is Pond or even the occasionally fond and teasing “Khun Naravit”, at some point he moves onto filming and Khaotung and Dunk and Jojo and gosh Joong can just sit and listen to First speak for hours.
The spell breaks with a sharp pang, as Pond skips to them, already a little tipsy and ten times handsier than before, fingers lingering across First’s shoulder as he checks in on how First is feeling meeting his friends. They end the conversation with a little peck, insisted on by Pond, that makes First glance sheepishly at Joong but no matter his exasperation he can’t hide how pleased he looks; the naked affection on his face as he looks on as Pond goes back to his seat.
First is still blushing when he turns back to Joong to resume their conversation and for one selfish moment, just as he catches the warmth of that soulful gaze again, the world melts away and the dusting of red on First’s cheek is a reflection of the heat blossoming in his own chest. He feels shameless when he slides over to sit closer, leaning in, pretending that he can’t hear him over the noise. He looks at First furtively a few times, from this distance his heart flutters with how it feels like First is leaning in with him, his beloved senior letting him into his personal space, into his circle meant for only those that are special.
“P’Fir” He whispers and he doesn’t back away from the intensity with which their gazes meet, “Why didn’t you tell me last week? When I asked if you were single?”
First looks a little shocked, but only for a second like he wasn’t expecting Joong to bring it up point blank. It’s not polite Joong admits, Pond is here, in the room with them - his best friend. But–Joong deserves his fair shot.
“Like I said, Pond wanted to–”
“And when I told you I liked you?”
This time the shocked expression doesn’t wear off, he nervously darts his eyes to Pond, “Joong obviously I’m dating your best friend.”
Joong is no insecure virgin. He could feel that he’d had an in last week, he knows the wavering he’d seen on First’s face was real, “Well, I asked you to think it over and get back to me. Was that your answer?” Joong leans closer to whisper into First’s ear so he can feel Joong’s breath brush against his flushed skin, “Or, are you still thinking?”
First pulls away sharply, Joong can see the haughty expression on his face, but he can also feel the way that First’s hand lingers where it's draped across Joong’s shoulders. First gets up without answering, saunters off to join a group on the dance floor. Joong watches him all night - not continuously, obviously as that would be creepy. But as much as First tries to stick to Pond’s side or send Khaotung to distract Joong, he’s been furtively glancing in Joong’s direction all night.
Khaotung looks between him and the direction of his anxious gazing and sighs, “Is this going to become a problem?” He asks, of course Khaotung has figured out what’s going on. Joong didn’t always have time to be subtle when he insisted Khaotung invite P’First to things so First couldn’t refuse.
Joong’s big fat crush kind of smacked him in the face at some point during their workshops. If Phuwin’s teasing can be trusted, Joong’s crush even pre-dates Pond and First’s relationship. If you really think about it, it was Pond who broke bro code first.
“I just-when did this even happen?”
Khaotung shrugs, “They became official like two days ago?” And continues as though he knows exactly what Joong is thinking, “But they’ve kept in touch, quite a bit since Japan.” But Joong feels rather encouraged that it’s so new.
theres no way first didn’t get a boner while filming those things… i dont even hava a dick but i got a boner
anon did you see the post where i said write something unhinged about fk and i might write fic? anyway here you go, unsolicited fic:
First is fine, of course he is.
This is his third series writhing against Khaotung in front of a live crowd, and he’d died of mortification several times already, right now he’s just trying to breathe and get through it all. So he’s doing well, he thinks, all things considered. Just him and the blank white ceiling.
“No, the lamp throws the balance of the shot off and it hides all of Khaotung’s waist.”
And Khaotung, that traitor chimes in, “You can’t block out my waist! I shed blood for this.” To his credit he does sound genuinely anxious and First knows how hard he’s actually worked. But First is also genuinely anxious about how he is crotch up, tenting on a bed surrounded by no less than five crew members who are frantically trying to handle this situation. So far they’ve tried the covers, sweats, coffee mug on random table and apparently the latest, lamp, was also swiftly rejected. The compromise between artistic expression and First’s boner apparently eludes them still.
One would think that several people perplexed over his dick, would drive his boner right down but Khaotung, that traitorous beast, hadn’t separated from First. Instead, he lay with his head contentedly cradled on his shoulder, the heat of Khaotung’s thigh draped across First’s, sears his skin. And so, here First continues to lay, best friend tucked into his side, dick rock solid and leaving very little to the imagination in his white boxers. Light and dark color coding is fine until the outline of the veins running along his cock start showing up on HD film.
Just as he thinks Jojo is ready to just give up on the wide shot altogether, Khaotung, that absolute criminal, suddenly hums. “What if I just?” He mumbles to himself and then slithers down a little until his soft cheek is pressed against his chest, Khaotung’s warm breath steadily blowing over his nipple - dear god.
And apparently that wasn’t even the worst of it because the very next second - yep, that’s Khaotung’s arm pressing into his hard-on, shielding it from the camera. Jojo nearly screams, yelling out a generous amount of praises for Khaotung while First’s insides slowly dissolve into goo.
“Relax.” Khaotung, that incorrigible demon, says, “You know I take it as a compliment.”
Yeah, so.
First is just fine.
