Inbox Now Closed; Plans for Re-opening Within
Hello all, It has been incredibly difficult to explain to my current following how through my inbox people on Twitter keep finding my blog on Tumblr and then start a whole hate campaign against me because they are bored. So here is my best attempt.
Recap of Feb 2025
Those of you who have been here in Feb 2025 experienced the worst of it when a user hounded me and my friends on tumblr for months making multiple accounts, trying to get me to write fics that were exactly what they wanted to see, and getting extremely upset when I wrote their prompts in my own style, then they linked up with the toxic "khaotung is a damsel in distress" group over a few weeks on Twitter to finally launch the huge smear campaign that my stupid tumblr blog got caught in the middle of. As new people came in accusing me of absolutely anything that this user had editted down my posts to be - I was being accused of things that anons had said to me that I was actually responding to argue against. At this point I was a twitter lurker and keeping track of the vitriol being spread against me out of context was a fairly painful experience. A lot of my twitter friends tried to intervene but they got bullied also as a result. I closed my twitter operations.
Decision to Close Inbox
I cannot explain this other than that I just have a very general Thai BL and Firstkhao following. People follow me for many different reasons. Every time I answer ONE ask whether its in defense of First, Khaotung or Thai BLs Khujin marketing strategy I get 5 more angry anons arguing a different point that I wasn't talking about.
My blog is more like an informational archive where I talk about my entire life's experience as a fandom life-er. This is why I have insights on fandom dynamics, couple dynamics, the progression of fanservice and how the relationship of Japanese Yaoi with fujoshis of the past can be reflected in how some fans treat actors like commodities. I always only ever share my opinions under the tags "nani's hot takes" or as a response to someone's ask - and lo and behold. I also get hate about how I'm trying to position myself as an academic with ultimate knowledge and squash other people's opinions. Which is something I have simply never done.
Is this the end of FK Delulu Circus?
Absolutely not! I love FK Delulu Circus. And I am trying to give this back to you guys as soon as possible while keeping my anonymity safe from bullies on twitter. What is Nani doing: -> I'm saving all the fic prompts I have in my inbox and finally matching them up with the prompt fills that are crawling in my inbox -> I am also slowly deleting all the bad faith anons I have in my inbox. sometimes its hard to tell them apart from people who just want information -> I plan to answer any informational asks that I have answers for -> I am still setting up my writing blog mm-nani-fics so that all new writing fic prompts can go to the askbox of that blog -> when I re-open my inbox. I will be using this inbox (kevin-the-bruyne) just to answer fun fandom stuff and I will be using my writing inbox (mm-nani-fics) to fulfill prompts.
Summary/tl'dr: For anyone missing FK delulu circus. Thank you for your patience. I am doing my best to make my blogs fun and safe for everyone including me!
