Nano Day 30: I won!
I did it! I actually full on wrote 50,000 words in a month! (And got a severely underwritten first draft completed in the process). I honestly didn’t think I’d do it, and I’m still in shock. Ahhh!

NaNo Win
Still can’t believe I did!! I’m squeeing/crying/yelling!! I might do another post tomorrow once the exctiment is a bit more in check, but in the meantime...
The proof:
NaNo found 400 extra words, somehow :p
Look at how pretty the cover is with that lovely ribbon!!!!
An ENORMOUS thank you to:
@meridianrose @itslmdee for all the support and squeeing and shared snippets and “ugh, why did we ever choose to write?><” and milion of gifs! Couldn’t have done that without you!
@magicawn because I think she’s the first one who dragged me into NaNo last year? And she’s the first one who ever hear about PS. Here’s to you, Innava!
@zephfair for the support and the kind messages and fangirling!
@chaptersonetoinfinity new friend :p We didn’t talk much, but I’m very glad to see you in my notifications and see your NaNo progress! And you have the prettiest icon of them all :)
@i-dragonqueen @unfocused-notwriter new friend too! Amazed and curious about your stories, I’d love to know even more! Thanks for letting me babble and for our talk about murder :p (We’re writers, I swear!!)
And thanks a lot to all those I shamefully forget and who have been supporting me in the background! You rock, people!!!!!
Guess who just won her second-ever November NaNo!!! :D
THREE WHOLE DAYS EARLY HELL YEAH
NaNoWriMo- GAME!
So here's my final wordcount for Tick Tick's initial draft. This is the second-highest wordcount for any of my NaNos (2020's Monomyth beats it with 78000+ words). This is also my record for completing the words for a novel, with 12 days.
Not much going on here. I wrapped everything up- not exactly neatly, but at least decently. Teosur survives the fungus infestation, though his legs don't. There's a lot of messy feelings lying around. But I ended with a happy moment for the characters. They've been through too much shit.
I'm gonna take a rest for a bit (as this draft was basically written in 12 days) and then move on to editing Monomyth. I'm not sure if I'm gonna really blog about that to the same extent as Tick Tick, since it will just be tweaking the existing draft. So if I don't- um- uh. I forgot. I'm eepy.
November Review - NaNoWriMo and Self Care
November Review – NaNoWriMo and Self Care
Well the month of November is over and done and I guess it’s time to see where things stand.
I started the month with the intention to focus on my own self care and not spend as much time worrying about posting or any of that stuff. Well, I definitely didn’t post (except for a blurb about my day in Amsterdam), though I found it a lot easier to focus on my Twitter when I wasn’t worrying about so…
