From the ashes of NaNoWriMo rises Nano2, a successor to NaNoWriMo formed by the original founder, former staff and many more.
So given the debacle that saw NaNoWriMo shut down earlier this year amid its AI stance, while officially citing financial reasons, the first thing I did when learning of Nano2's existence was look up their AI Stance.

Now feel free to call me a cynic, but I feel like the opening line to this should have been a clear and undeniable:
"We do not accept works created by AI".
Instead we get this PR speak answer that feels somewhat vague. "We hope you'll give yourself the gift of...", sounds very much like a "We have to sound like we don't support AI slop but we don't want to upset the userbase again while still supporting AI."
Now again, I have to stress, I may well just be cynical given recent changes in the world, but I think Nano2 should clarify their stance by outright rejecting AI slop.
Saying you "hope" people won't use AI isn't a rejection, it's plausible deniability and "accidentally" leaving the door open in my view.
But I strongly encourage you all to look up the information yourselves and formulate your own thoughts and opinions.

Relised I'd accidently dated my screencap as being from 2015...whoops. Corrected that.
