(reblogs greatly appreciated!!) hi guys!! it’s been a while since i’ve posted ocs, but i’ve been thinking a lot about these naruto ocs i made and now they’re my children and i love them. i’ll make another post going more into depth on who they are as individuals as well as their names.
i have a thing where i don’t like to make fandom ocs because i feel weird making them interact with the main canon characters, so the stories of these kiddos takes place during the second hokage’s reign (and the third hokage’s too). so by the time the events of naruto and shippuden takes place, these kids are all grown up and old or dead lmao.
the uchiha fascinate me, (sasuke is my favorite character lmao) i chose to make the main character of my oc story a young uchiha, who is rather naive at first but quickly has to face the reality of the world he lives in. the way his clan is used by the village, the segregation and oppression his clan faces, and also the impossibly high expectations set for him by the village due to his lineage. he and his friends will have to deal with war (first shinobi world war) at a young age, and each individual will have to overcome an inner conflict and discover where their loyalties lie afterwards. does being a shinobi merely mean being a tool for the state? or is there meaning in the lifestyle, protecting your loved ones and home? is peace achievable in such a world, or would the entire system have to be overthrown and reworked? these are the things this story will be about.
i’m a busy college student so i’ll mostly just draw out of context illustrations and short comics of these characters and ramble about the story behind it in the caption. i really hope you guys are interested in them! i can’t wait to introduce all of them!
