"You heard the intermarriage idea?" Kaname asks after swallowing a bite.
"Ah yes," Kaito grins. "not a bad idea that, being recognized for our aggressive marriage arrangements."

Summary: When two water currents meet, they sometimes form a swirling, circular whirlpool. Physical and Mental chakra do the same. One mind, one body, one soul. A collision of such currents makes greatest maelstroms. One should not mess with the cycle of death and rebirth, even if one considers oneself a god.

So far the Premise seems to be that Uzumaki never really die, they reincarnate.
They do not always retain all of their memories, sometimes by circumstance sometimes by choice (sealing arts). Their large physical chakra developed to counterbalance such immense amounts of mental chakra.
Spiral symbol was chosen due to dimension-travel shenanigans, as the first reincarnator knew of it and needed no actual symbolism to guide him. Over the years many clan members gave it different meanings, obviously the large amount thought id symbolized reincarnation, spiraling down to madness and need for balance and stability.
Once reincarnated into the Naruto universe, many, after death in the verse, find themselves reincarnating there again, within the same timeline and mostly within the same clan. Uzumaki clan.
They do have offshoots of being a part of different clans, but report that they never remember being a part of the reincarnation cycle during those lives. This has lead to speculations that it is reincarnation-developed Uzumaki chakra that gives them this ability.
In this verse Uzumaki hold the enviable place of having the greatest naval capability, this does not mean that they have a lot of ships, but it does mean that they’ve managed to hold a top place with what they have.
Large part of this is due to their pirating excursions. Uzumaki pride themselves on being pirates, but at the time when they first started it was somewhat of a tough sell, nobody wanted to do it, not really. Until the fist famine set and it became the only way to provide for their island.
They were quick to take it up and quickly turned it into a thriving business that remained one of their main occupations through out the centuries as many other islands tired to grab for the same spot.
To other Clans Uzumaki are known for being tricky, while their pirating capabilities don’t really concern the mainland ninja much, their aggressive marriage arranging does.
It becomes a tradition to bring your savviest negotiators to any meetings with Uzumaki, because if you don’t, well…someone’s going home married.

. And then come the many stories in the same universe .
It is far too late by the time Kaito understands who he is to become. When his family, his wife and four children, are named Uzumaki by the party doing the introduction.
His future crystallizes in his mind. Cold dread spikes down his spine. How is he supposed to do this? Is he supposed to do this? Make a clan?
It is then that He hears one of his sons gasp and catches his wide eyes with his own, something familiar passing between them.
"Somehow we need to fix all of their stupid issues 'cause that plant thing will probably prey on everyone and everything." Shinri said with a hand wave "We'll what? Be therapists for the ninja world? Honestly..."
"Or we could just intermarry them to non-existence." Jun slurred through his fifth drink. "I mean if we raise every Uzu nin with some sort of common sense and problem solving then just marry into every possible over-powered ninja family- well that's would solve it wouldn't it?"
There was some silence.
"So individual therapy?" Shinri picked his train of thought again.
"I want none of that 'period-typical sexism' argument-slash-exuse," Kaname bared his teeth. "even if I'm not sure how to fix that it still stands to reason that a world with hax eyes, dimensional gods and tree monsters shouldn't break if you removed sexism."
"I think the Inuzuka and Hatake Clans are doing something on that front," Kaito mused. "Aburame too, as well as Ino-Shika-Chou, but I'm not sure I remember everything I heard on the road correctly..."
"This is why I'm telling you we should bring mom in," Kaname whined. "She's the one with most political training."
"You're right, I was already planning on that, except for one thing."
"Which is?"
"How exactly do we explain this?" Kaito motioned between them. "Also the fact that I didn't tell her something that important before marrying her?"
"Err.."
"Exactly," Kaito covered his eyes. "but I suppose it's bad news for my marriage in any case."
Kaname coughed uncomfortably. "On the good side we'll probably get a super competent and intelligent ally?"
"I understand." Kaito says. He truly does. One cannot live on love in this world, in any world really, and he has little to offer in forms of stability.
"I did not mean to cause this," he catches Yasuha's eyes so she would know he's serious. " but you will forget me and a more deserving man will show."
Hopefully someone who will treat her right. Kaito doesn't believe in much, but this is one thing he will pray for.
Once she nods he turns to Ashura, Otsutsuki Ashura, who is looking at them with a contemplative frown. "I'm sorry to have caused you undue trouble," Kaito bows slightly but doesn't lower his gaze. "I have no problem leaving if that is what you wish."
Ashura just looks at him for a moment, he can tell that the man is still measuring him up. It’s a stare that seems to gaze into his soul.
