(Not so) Little rant under cutoff

Ok so, I watched the part where team 10 helped team 7 with the sound village ninja and we got to see more shikamaru! Honestly when I first started Naruto, I was quite interested in seeing shikamaru because well, he seemed interesting lol

i honestly think his jutsu is pretty cool— the shadow possession jutsu. I lowkey wasn’t sure if he’d have like a signature jutsu like other characters but ig more will be revealed later in the series??? (About his jutsu I mean.) I’m also curious as to whether this “laziness”/lack of motivation shikamaru has is related to sm lore-wise or it’s just a part of his character. I have a small feeling that shikamaru is gonna have beef with Naruto because they clash in ways. Shikamaru tends to takes things the easy route in things (otherwise things will “be a drag” 😭) while Naruto is very reckless and tends to tackle things even when they’re obviously very difficult for him (which I can respect like GET THEIR ASS NARUTO). I feel like shikamaru would be irritated with Naruto a lot because he clashes with his views (it’s been obvious that Shikamaru gets annoyed at Naruto as shown when they’re trying to wake him up after the fight with the sound ninja.) So basically, I’m looking forward to when we get to see more Shikamaru and Naruto Interactions.

And I’m looking forward to if there’s ever gonna be scenes where we get to see him aurafarm and be like “ok bro, we actually gotta lock tf in” LOL
