Será que pousamos mesmo na Lua com esta geringonça em forma de aranha forrada em quase toda a superfície externa (à exceção do topo), incluindo plataforma, escada, motor de descida e protetor térmico, com mantas de âmbar (preta, prata e vermelha) e Kapton dourado aluminizado (filme de poliimida desenvolvida pela DuPont no final dos anos 60 que permanece estável em uma ampla gama de temperaturas, de −269 a +400 ° C, e é por isso usado, entre outras coisas, em circuitos impressos flexíveis e cobertores térmicos de espaçonaves, satélites e instrumentos espaciais para isolamento térmico)? Se sim, meu Deus! Quanta bravura, quanta coragem de Armstrong e Aldrin! Em certos pontos, a parede da Águia era tão fina quanto uma folha de papel (!), isso mesmo, para que a estrutura fosse tão leve quanto possível, motivo pelo qual os astronautas tiveram de tomar cuidados redobrados para não baterem em nada, o que foi muito difícil em um ambiente tão apertado, tão apertado que não havia assentos para a tripulação (!) e durante as fases de voo motorizado tiveram de ficar amarrados no lugar por cabos de mola fixos no chão! Para dormirem, quando na superfície, usavam uma rede dependurada (!), como beliches, cruzando uma sobre a outra! Acredite ou não, esta é uma foto oficial da NASA do módulo Eagle (AS11-40-5922), tirada com uma câmera Hasselblad e liberada só recentemente (em 23 de setembro de 2015) dos arquivos do Projeto Apollo.
