CE3X: Close Encounters of the Intimate Kind — An Immersive Journey into the Most Intimate Side of Close Encounters (New Release)
Imagine a midnight in 1957, deep in the countryside of Minas Gerais. A young farmer named Antonio Villas Boas is plowing his fields when strange lights descend from the sky. Figures in tight uniforms and masks seize him and drag him aboard a craft. What happens inside is not a routine medical exam. It is a forced, unforgettable carnal encounter with a pale-skinned, blonde extraterrestrial woman whose piercing eyes leave him shaken. Villas Boas emerges forever marked—not only on his body, but in his psyche. His story becomes the first classic case of alien abduction in the modern flying saucer era, opening the door to encounters far beyond the simple “I saw a light in the sky.”
It is into this forbidden, unsettling terrain that Claudio Suenaga dives headlong in CE3X: Close Encounters of the Intimate Kind, his first book in English, newly released. Across 365 dense pages, Suenaga offers more than mere accounts. He weaves a narrative that stitches together ufology, mythology, folklore, deep psychology, and the very essence of the human condition. What makes this book so striking is not just the sensationalism of “sex with aliens.” It is the relentless provocation: What if these encounters are not new? What if they are the eternal continuation of something that has always haunted human imagination—seductive gods, fallen angels, abducting fairies, demonic incubi and succubi, half-divine offspring born of forbidden unions?
Suenaga revisits the Villas Boas case with journalistic mastery and the obsession of a historian. After decades of awkward silence, he tracks down the farmer’s relatives, unearths previously unknown details, and strips away the “curtain of decorum” that once veiled the episode. Brazil—land of unabashed sensuality, liberated desires, and cultural fusion—emerges not by accident as the stage for this foundational event. Here, the carnal and the transcendental have always danced together.
Beyond revising and expanding material from the Brazilian edition 50 Shades of Greys, the book introduces an entirely new chapter absent from the Portuguese version. In it, Suenaga investigates the controversial claim that the Villas Boas case may have been artificially induced or manipulated by the CIA as part of psychological operations (PsyOps) and experiments tied to the MKULTRA mind-control program. Drawing on testimonies attributed to former agents, whistleblowers, and disputed documents, the author critically examines whether such assertions rest on solid ground—or whether they represent yet another sophisticated layer of disinformation within the already murky world of ufology and psychological warfare.
But the book doesn’t stop there. It ventures into other cases of “conjugal encounters”—intimate contacts, forced or consensual couplings, generations of hybrids. Stories that leave indelible marks on the souls of the “chosen.” Suenaga connects it all with remarkable skill: the ancient and the modern, the sacred and the profane, myth and the supposed reality of the Space Age. The result is a text that unsettles, stimulates, and forces the reader to ask: are we projecting our darkest desires onto the heavens, or is something out there truly desiring us in return?
CE3X is not comfortable reading. Its narrative flows like an underground river—provocative, disturbing, and profoundly impactful. Perfect for spreading among those who seek answers mainstream science refuses to provide. If you dare to confront the most intimate and shadowed side of the Phenomenon, this book will mark you like an abduction.
Who is Claudio Tsuyoshi Suenaga
Claudio Tsuyoshi Suenaga is a Brazilian historian, researcher, journalist, professor, and writer, recognized as one of the most original and persistent investigators of paranormal, ufological, fortean, and supernatural phenomena in Brazil. Born in São Paulo in April 1971, he has devoted more than four decades to studying subjects considered marginal, controversial, or neglected by traditional academia. His career is defined by investigative rigor, intellectual courage, and an unrelenting quest for answers to the great enigmas of human experience.
With a Master’s degree in History from São Paulo State University (UNESP), Suenaga became a pioneer in 1999 by defending the first master’s thesis in Brazil devoted entirely to the UFO Phenomenon—a landmark in academia that helped open the door to more serious, documented approaches to ufology in the country. Since then, he has established himself as one of the most independent and restless voices in frontier research within the Brazilian scene.
Throughout his career, Suenaga has rescued, revisited, and reinterpreted some of the most emblematic cases in Brazilian ufology and the supernatural. Among them are the episodes involving Antonio Villas Boas, João Prestes Filho, Rivalino Mafra and Sagrada Família. He also brought back into the spotlight the fascinating trajectory of Aladino Félix, also known as Dino Kraspedon or Sábado Dinotos—a controversial figure who moved between mysticism, messianism, politics, terrorism, and extraterrestrial contact reports, becoming a unique character in Brazil’s 20th-century history.
His work goes far beyond simple UFO investigation. Suenaga explores the intersections of history, religion, mythology, forbidden archaeology, anomalous experiences, consciousness phenomena, and esoteric traditions. By combining historical methodology, documentary research, and field investigation, he has become known for tackling “dangerous” or heterodox subjects without sacrificing critical analysis or intellectual depth.
In recent years, Suenaga has turned his attention to the land of his ancestors: Japan. Through expeditions and research, he has immersed himself in the so-called “Hidden Japan,” investigating monumental megaliths, giant tombs, little-known pyramids, ancestral traditions, and archaeological mysteries largely ignored by the Western public—and often by the Japanese themselves. This dimension of his work has further expanded his reputation as a frontier researcher and explorer of forgotten civilizations, symbols, and narratives.
Since the age of 18, Suenaga has published articles, essays, and reports in newspapers, magazines, websites, and specialized outlets in Brazil and abroad, always moving between journalistic investigation and historical reflection. His written work combines accessible language, extensive documentation, and a rare willingness to confront established narratives
An independent researcher par excellence, Cláudio Tsuyoshi Suenaga has built a body of work that moves fluidly between alternative history, critical ufology, mysterious archaeology, and the study of borderline states of human consciousness. His work stands as one of the boldest and most original contributions to contemporary Brazilian fortean and ufological research.
Philip Mantle and Flying Disk Press
Publishing a book as bold and controversial as CE3X required someone with both courage and credibility. Enter Philip Mantle, veteran British ufologist, former Director of Investigations at BUFORA, former MUFON representative in England, lecturer, author, and international broadcaster. Mantle has published books in multiple languages and built a solid career since the 1980s.
In 2015, he founded Flying Disk Press, a publishing house based in Pontefract, West Yorkshire, England, dedicated to serious and daring ufology. Flying Disk Press has become a global reference point for works that mainstream publishers shy away from—detailed cases, deep analyses, and unsettling testimonies. Publishing Suenaga’s first book in English was an act of audacity that perfectly honors Mantle’s tradition: giving voice to research that challenges the status quo and expands the boundaries of what we consider possible.
The publication of CE3X in English became possible thanks to the support and enthusiasm of the Greek researcher and ufologist Stavros Hatzopoulos, who was responsible for translating the work and recommending it to British publisher Philip Mantle. Hatzopoulos is internationally known for his research on anomalous phenomena and extraterrestrial contacts, serving as the scientific consultant of the Greek UFO Network (Grufon) and author of the book A Hellenic Ufological Database 1822-2024. His encouragement, dedication, and trust in the project were fundamental in bringing Suenaga’s work to the international audience.
CE3X is not just a book. It is a dangerous invitation to gaze into the abyss—and to discover that the abyss gazes back at us, with desire. A must-read for those unafraid of the raw, unfiltered truth. Available now on Amazon. Prepare yourself.
