I know we’ve been analysing to death all the recent J2 panels/ops and how disingenuous they look. But can we take a moment to look at this photo from a recent Mishalecki op?

Misha looks so dead inside.

He’s usually great at faking it ‘til he makes it real, but it’s just not happening here. Jared looks engaged in the op, but then Misha is just standing there, his head slightly tilted away, he’s brought an uncharacteristic “I’ve Got to Act for the Camera” Smile that doesn’t reach his eyes. It’s quite painful to look at.

Contrast that with Misha during a Cockles op.

Bonus (J2M op):

It’s almost like Jensen has to be there to bring any life into Misha’s eyes. Is he uncomfortable with just The Moose? Is there a broom handle we can’t see off camera...?
