Natalie Lue says: "People can be more than one thing."
Maybe something worth pondering over, what do you say?
The Dark Side of People Pleasing
I thought this could be helpful to some of you. Natalie talks about how people pleasing, essentially denying parts of yourself, can lead to a breakdown. She references Gone Girl and Tiger Woods.
Natalie is not doing Baggage Reclaim any more, but the episodes are still available for listen and there are plenty of them.
Oh hey, did you guys know Baggage Reclaim Sessions was back? Natalie is recording yet again, on this episode she is also joined by her brother Richard.
It was a nice surprise to see her doing podcasting again, I honestly never expected it, as she quit in early 2023 and said she wanted to pursue other things. (She has been doing BG for many years, nearly two decades now!)
I got an email from Natalie Lue at Baggage Reclaim (I must have signed up for some newsletter or something) and she's going to do new Baggage Reclaim podcast episodes! She quit doing them in early 2023, although I've missed her, I understand she wants to try new things after having done BR for so many years. But it seems she's coming back with some more and that is one of this year's nice surprises.
Anyway, like I said some time ago, one thing that happened to me in the year of our lord 2023 is that I got so sick of the word "chemistry" that I now despise it (I never liked the subject at school either) and I remembered Natalie Lue made an episode of it for her Baggage Reclaim series. Basically it means jack shit. Link.
