Hey guys, I found a cool apparel shop that is Native American owned and operated.
You can find it under Cant Fail Designs on Facebook. I bought a shirt and thought that some of you may be interested in checking them out. Have a good rest of the day :)
Native Owned Shops
I miss wearing new Native jewelry. I never realized how much it meant to me that my great grandmother handmade/gifted me so much of it until she was gone, and then subsequently realizing how far removed I am from both reservations down here...she was my link to a big part of my culture; the only one so unapologetic and proud of her roots.
I want to buy more, but strictly from Native owned and operated businesses. I’m not going to wear some cheaply made “Indian” inspired piece of garbage thrown together in an hour by some random white girls in their kitchen. I want pieces of art. Pieces of history. Pieces of culture.
It doesn’t have to be Cherokee, Blackfoot or Taíno as long as the pieces are appropriate to its subsequent tribe. So, if any of y’all run your own shops, or have links to Native owned stores that I can order from that you would highly recommend, please let me know!
