I fell in love with this old stump in the woods. I feel like she will watch over me.

Japanese Mythology & Deities
The world of the Divine Spirit, the Gods in our lives (8)
Shinigami (god of death)
It’s the deity who is said to induce death or inspire people to die.
In Buddhism, there is a demon associated with death called the "Death Demon”. This is the demon that makes people want to die, and when possessed by it, it is said to make people want to commit suicide impulsively, and is sometimes described as the "Shinigami (god of death)".
Yama, the king of the underworld, and the demons under him, such as Ox-Head and Horse-Face are sometimes regarded as the gods of death.
In Shintoism, Izanami is sometimes regarded as the goddess of death, as she is said to have given death to humans in Japanese mythology.
In the " 100 stories of picture books" of the Edo period (1603-1868), there is a strange story called " Shinigami (god of death).” It is said that the spirit of the dead, which has bad thoughts, responds to the bad thoughts of the living and leads them to bad places, so that where there has been a murder, there will be a similar incident, where there has been a suicide by hanging, there will be another suicide, and so on.
There is also a story in Kabuki plays about a Shinigami (god of death) who enters a person's thoughts and makes that person want to die by reminding him of the evil he has committed. These are thought to be more akin to ghosts or demons than gods.
Death is next to life, and human beings are facing death from the day we are born. The Shinigami (god of death) is a major figure in the world of divine spirits. In addition, there are ghosts in the underworld and the astral world, as well as living spirits made up of people's grudges, and it is not surprising that there are many of them in the invisible world.
However, they have no substance. What scares us the most are crazy people with substance who can really do us harm.
Human relationships are not only about killing each other. Helping each other can only come from human relationships.
Just changing the angle of your head to a comfortable angle can make a big difference.

Walking along the “River of Dreams”.
I kind of imagine that there is beautiful bioluminescent flora and fauna on Aya or Havarl, for example.
Maybe @myrddinderwydd has some ideas to that. Or even an angaran name for “River of Dreams” ;)
