This is a /genq bc I wanna he well informed :3 but when you say nbpd is it a subset of bpd? Or is it having both NPD and BPD? I def could be wrong but I thought you could only have one cluster b disorder. I’m so sorry if this came off as rude :(
Hi! NBPD is not a subset of BPD. It is a combination of having both NPD and BPD. You can be diagnosed with more than one cluster b disorder, along with personality disorders from other categories! I was personally diagnosed with both NPD and BPD, along with a cluster c disorder, AVPD.
People within each personality disorder cluster may have comorbidities with other disorders within their cluster and be diagnosed with more than one. It is also possible to be in more than one personality disorder cluster.
Here's a Mayo Clinic article on PD's (link). It's a bit bare bones, but I think it summarizes well and they're known for being unbiased and factual in their articles, usually!

Submissions trying to incite drama will be blocked and ignored.
Anyone is allowed to interact with this blog regardless of your identity or personal views if good faith, however do not bring in matters that are irrelevant to this blog. We are not going to disallow other pwNPD & BPD from interacting with this blog over discourse.
We do not have a set "Do not interact," as we do not believe in lists like this. These lists are pointless and do not work. We will block bigoted/appropriative "TransIDs" and people who promote abuse.
