I always wanted that indian education system should be change.
It is very much needed. The textbooks don't provide practical knowledge. There is one way communication from teachers which kills creativity in students. The focus should be on minimal but quality education like developed countries teacher should serve as a guide and student should be encouraged to do research and get the appropriate solutions. The exam pattern should also be change.. More practical questions to check the subjects understanding rather cramming power..
Students should be encouraged to undertake field project to get exposed to challenges in the real world, outside the four walls of the classroom, and they can be asked to make their presentation followed by discussion in the class, credits to be given on the basis of that.
It will greatly supplement their theoretical knowledge, and help them realize their full potential. It will prepare them for facing challenges in the real life, in a great way.
I am very happy that mother toungue is also included as a medium of Instruction.
