(I’m thinking of doing a Criminal Minds x NCIS x Bones crossover🤷♀️)
As you exited your car, your phone started ringing. Looking at who was calling, you denied the call. They called again, and you denied the call again. Finally on the third try, you answered, “What!?”
“Did I leave my sweatpants over at your place?”
“I don’t know, Tony. I’m walking into work, I can’t exactly check.”
“Someone’s a ray of sunshine this morning.”
“Someone’s full of jokes this morning.” You responded in the same mocking tone as he did.
Hanging up, you knew in the back of your mind he wasn’t wrong. You had woke up late, which caused you to not be able to stop and get coffee on the way to work. Once, you arrived at your desk, there was a cup of coffee waiting for you. Picking it up, it hadn’t been too long since the kind person left it for you. Sitting, down in your chair, you saw the note.
‘Dinner at my place? I’ll drive? -H’
Looking, up y/e/c was met with his brown ones. It was a fairly, new relationship, you’ve only been on a few dates with Hotch but nothing major. He was standing over the bullpen, nonchalantly but when your eyes immediately met his, you knew he was looking for the answer to his question.
Giving him a discreet nod and smile, he found his answer. He found himself beginning to smile in return, before Rossi interrupted his train of thought.
It had been a slow past couple of weeks. This meant you were able to have the weekends off, during the slow time. By the time the end of the day came around, most of the BAU team had gone home.
“Hey.”
“Hey yourself.” You greeted him with a soft smile.
“Are you ready to go?”
You hummed in response.
As you walked side by side, out of the bullpen, you felt a giant soft hand, reach for yours intertwining your fingers together. His action caught you off guard, causing the butterflies in your stomach to erupt.
“Is Jack joining us for dinner?”
“Nope. He’s staying at a friends house.”
————————————————————————
Once dinner was finished, you washed the dishes and he dried them and put them away. The evening was coming to a close, an evening you didn’t want to end. As you were getting ready to leave, Hotch stopped you.
“Stay the night?”
Turning around, you were face to face with a man towering you, “Are you sure?” Voice barely above a whisper.
Taking steps forward, he pushed you against his front door. One hand roaming your body before resting on your hip, while the other made its way to your jaw, before tiling your head upwards. Placing a feather light kiss on your lips.
His hips collided with yours pinning yours to the door, causing you to gasp. Taking advantage of your open mouth, he slid his tongue in, wrestling with yours. The hand on your hip, traveled down to your butt giving it a light squeeze.
Both hands traveled down to the back of your thighs, picking you up gracefully. Your hands that were knotted in his hair, were now gripping his shoulders keeping your balance.
His mouth moved to the side of you neck placing open mouthed kisses, sucking and biting, leaving his mark behind, as he made his way up the stairs and to his room.
————————————————————————-
“Hotch!” You shrilled at him as you both entered, the elevator.
Chuckling he questioned, “What, baby?”
“Look at my neck!” Pointing your finger at the area in question.
Stepping forward, he wrapped his areas around your waist, placing kisses on the opposite side of your neck.
“It looks to me,” he said as he reached your sweet spot leaving another hickey in his wake, “like you have a possessive boyfriend.”
At this point, you were in bliss, not paying much attention to the words coming out of his mouth, rather the pleasure he was giving you instead.
Composing yourself, you exited the elevator, only to see straus standing with a group of people, in the middle of the BAU bullpen.
“Miss Y/L/N, Agent Hotchner.”
“Straus.”
The both of you joining the rest of the BAU team.
“Today, we are joined by the NCIS, team-“
Tony cut her off, before she could say anymore, “Hi Y/N!”
“One tall black coffee!” One of the baristas calls over the soft music of the coffee shop. You go to grab your addiction but when you’re only half way you notice a man with silver hair moving away from you. Your coffee in his hand.
“Hey!” You cry, “hey wait!” You catch the sleeve of his jacket just outside the door. He swings around quickly, loosing the coffee and his hand going to his hip. You see the butt of his gun before you see the badge. “Fuck!” You yelp stumbling back he reaches out and grabs your arm before you can go off of the curb. “Sorry.” You mumble, you just know that your cheeks are pink with embarrassment.
“What?” He grumbles.
“I didn’t mean to startle you.” You explain, “You just took my coffee and I’m running on empty.”
“Well now it’s on the ground so it’s all yours.” He grouches and your mouth drops open in surprise.
“Excuse me?”
“You heard me.”
“Wooow.” You draw out the word in irritation, “Just because you’re some big bad federal Agent doesn’t mean that you can be a dick.”
“That’s exactly what it means.”
“Fuck you man.” You snap and turn on your heel, if you beat him back to the shop you can take his coffee. It seems he has the same idea, following you back into the shop. The bell chimes as you yank open the door. One of the baristas looks up to greet you and then sees the man behind you.
“Gibbs! There you are.” She goes to pass him his coffee when you snag it out of her hand.
“He took mine then proceeded to dump it on the sidewalk.” You tell her before dodging his hand and taking a drink. The barista stares at you, eyes wide and mouth slightly open in surprise. “Thank you Agent Gibbs. It’s been fun.” You tell him throwing him a wink before you leave the coffee shop.
You’re surprised when he catches up with you half a block later. His own cup of coffee in his hand.
“You didn’t really think I was gonna let you call me a dick and get away with it did you?” He asks evenly, he doesn’t look at you, just takes a sip of his coffee.
“I mean, I was hopeful.” You shoot him a grin and you see a smirk cross his lips. “How about I say sorry with lunch?”
“Deal.” He passes you his card and you tuck it into your pocket.
“Later Gibbs.” You flirt then split off from him toward work.
You guess sacrificing your coffee for a date with him was worth it.
For @alfabravo666 with Gibbs. I hope this is what you were looking for. Sorry it took me so long.
He was glaring. That cold blue stare of his, and the fact that he hadn't blinked was sort of freaky.
"Which one?" He growled
"Gibbs no." You protest.
"Which one of those idiots left you to defend the front by yourself."
"Me. I told them I could handle it and clearly I was wrong." You say gesturing to the now clean and wrapped gunshot wound.
"You could have been killed. They shouldn't have left you." Gibbs growls.
"Gibbs."
"Don't Gibbs me."
"Jethro." You counter and he huffs in annoyance. "I am a fully capable Agent. It's not Tim or Tony's job to take care of me." You argue sliding off of the bed you've been sitting on. "The asshole snuck up on me and got a couple shots off. He got lucky." You scoop up your bag with your uninjured arm then loop it through his. "Take me home?" You ask and Gibbs nods covering your hand with his. You know he only barks out of concern for you, and if one of the boys was to blame you know his bark wouldn't be worse than his bite. It was honestly your choice.
The missing woman hadn't had much time left.
You heal quickly, but you can tell Gibbs is annoyed that you’re pushing yourself. You know he thinks you’re moving too fast, not taking enough time to heal. Pot, meet kettle. It’s why you balance one another out so well, you’re both stubborn. You follow your gut and it usually doesn’t lead you wrong. Much to Gibbs annoyance.
“You need more rest.”
“I’m fine Gibbs.” You tell him strapping on your vest. “You wouldn’t take more rest either.”
“But I’m your boss.” He growls and you raise your eyebrows at him.
“Gibbs, we’re outnumbered as it is. Please. Let me help.”
“Fine.” He huffs, and you follow him silently into the building. You clear each room as you go, moving quickly but quietly.
The suspect jumps out at you from a blind corner. The knife in his hand slices your leg before you shoot him once in the arm.
“Are you kidding me!” You cry, as Gibbs gets between you and your attacker. He kicks the gun away as Tony and McGee come running into the room. Once Gibbs hands your attacker off to Tony and McGee he turns on you and sighs heavily. You’re sitting on the floor, putting pressure on the cut when he crouched down and hands you his handkerchief.
“You’re having a tough month aren’t you.” He tells you, doesn’t ask.
“Thanks and yes.”
“I told you that you should’ve stayed outside.”
“And has someone sneak up on me out there? No thanks. Will you take me to the hospital now?”
“Ambulance is on the way.” He sits down next to you and gently presses down on the cut on your leg. You wince slightly and he presses a kiss to the side of your head. “I’ve got you sweetheart. And after this you’re taking the rest of the month off.”
It's late. You've all been working for what feels like three days straight and you still can't find the jackass. Gabe Hensen. Wanted for stalking and killing a petty officer in the US Navy. Poor girl must have been terrified, knowing he was out there, watching her, never knowing when she was safe. At least you had the Navy Yard. She had to have been counting down the days until her ship was deployed. Unfortunately Hensen decided to strike before it set sail and now here you, Tim, Torres and Gibbs were. Ellie and Quinn were out chasing a possible sighting while you and the boys continued to try and track Hensen down via technology, or in Gibbs case a file folder. "Okay. I need coffee." Torres says with a groan before standing up and tossing his now empty cup into his trash can. "Anyone else?" You raise your hand and when you glance up you can't help but smile at the other two hands in the air. "I'll come with." You offer, it'll be nice to stretch your legs a little bit. You and Torres walk down to the break room together, the building is so empty, then again it is nearly 3am. Neither you or Nick speak until you get to the coffee maker and find the pot is empty. "¡Maldito sea!" Nick curses, you don't speak Spanish but you've worked with him long enough to know the swear words and insults. That one means damn it. "It's fine. At least it'll be fresh." You tell him getting started on a new pot, "and this way we can bring the whole thing to our section." You point out with a half smile. Nick is still swearing softly under his breath while the larger thermos like coffee maker gets to work heating and straining the coffee. "How are you doing? Things better?" Nick asks in a surprisingly open moment from him. "I'm good." He looks at you skeptically, "I swear. He was getting creepy about our relationship. We only dated for like, two months and he already told me he loved me, asked me to move in with him and told me he wanted me to have his babies." Torres jerks his head back in surprise and you laugh softly. "Okay I can see why you'd be fine. You were sad for a while." "I wasn't sad." "Um. I caught you crying." "I was, I was scared Nick. He was following me. Calling me, sending me emails." "Did he threaten you?" "No. Of course not. If he had I would have told you guys." The coffee maker signals that it's finished and you grab the cups, sugar and creamers while Nick takes the coffee and the two of you head back to the bull pen. You don't notice the third person standing there talking with Director Vance until you round the corner. Vance sees you and nods in your direction and the man turns. Jamie. You freeze where you're standing and Torres almost collides with you. "Whoa!" He says side stepping you before looking down at your suddenly pale face. Gibbs and McGee are both looking your way too, it seems to click for Torres first. He steps in front of you, blocking Jamie's view of you. "What do you want?" He growls. "Agent Conway is here to help with the case Agent Torres. He said he had some leads." Vance tells him, looking a bit perplexed. "Yea leads to where his ex was and how to stalk her." Torres growls and you hear two desk drawers slide open. "Stalking?" Jamie laughs, "What is he talkin about babe?" "You don't get to talk to her." Gibbs snaps drawing Jamie's attention to him while you and Nick put everything you're carrying down on a nearby desk. "We're dating!" "No, they're not boss. Delilah was telling me about this guy. I just didn't realize who exactly it was he was following." Vance has moved closer to Gibbs and McGee and all four men are glaring at Jamie. "Agent Conway I think it's time you leave." Vance says coolly and Jamie actually has the nerve to look surprised. "You can email Agent McGee the information you have." "Babe I just wanna talk to you. Fix this." "I already told you no." You snap stepping just enough to the side of Nick that you can actually look at Jamie. "No. I do not want to work this out. No. I do not want to get back together. No. I do not love you. I want you to leave me alone. That's all I want. For you to go back to your life and stay out of mine." "But babe." "Don't make her have to tell you again." Gibbs warns, when you look over at him you see his gun in his hand. McGee has his in his hand too. You weren't expecting this ferocious of a response from your male coworkers. "This is crazy! I didn't do anything wrong!" "Didn't do anything wrong?" You cry moving past Torres. "I told you to leave me alone. Told you we were over and what did you do? You told me that you loved me and that we were destined to be together! That you'd always know how to find me! That you were the only one who could keep me safe. I've been sleeping with a gun under my pillow for weeks because of you!" You jab a finger into his chest and glare up at him. "Now you're coming to my job! Lying about what you do to actual federal agents! I didn't tell them about you because I was trying to keep them from hurting you!" "The only reason you can still walk is because we didn't know about you." Nick says from behind you. "What is this about him lying about what he does?" Gibbs asks, gun raising higher. "Oh, yea he's not an FBI Agent he's a barista. I don't know where he got a badge but you can assume it's stolen or fake." "Babe!" Jamie cries as Tim moves behind him and cuffs him. "Why would you do this to me?" "Because. I don't love you and I'd be happy if I never, ever saw you again." You tell him before walking away. "Babe! No babe! Wait! I love you! Babe! Please come back!" You don't even look back.
For the sweet, kind and super supportive @yourtropegirl who sent me some really sweet messages the other day. It truly meant a lot thank you. 25(characters leave each other notes) with Tony DiNozzo
In your fucking dreams DiNozzo.
You scribble onto the post-it note and stick it to his monitor. He'd left you one that said fuck you on it and you didn't want him getting any ideas. You leave with Tim then, to go question yet another suspect. As the elevator doors shut you glance over at Tim to see him looking at you with raised brows. "Can I help you Timmy?" You ask sweetly.
"Uh, why are you and Tony leaving each other notes?"
"Because I'm mad at him so I'm not talking to him but I'll leave him a note."
"Um. Okay." He doesn't ask any more questions and when you get back you see another post-it note on your computer.
I hate that shirt. It would look better on my floor.
You scowl at the paper to keep the smile off of your face.
Your suit is ugly, I'd like to take it off you.
You stick it to his computer screen then head down to see Abby. The next time you're at your desk Tony is at his. There's no note on your computer screen but he glares at you and you return the favor. McGee is missing and you glance over at his desk. "Interrogation with Boss." Tony answers your unasked question. You turn on your heel and head there too, Tony close on your heels. He sticks a note into your hand before passing you by. You duck into the bathroom and unfold it.
I hate you.
You chuckle softly then scribble your own note on the back. You slip it into his pocket once you get to the observation room. Gibbs is already in the room glaring down the suspect. Gibbs cracks the suspect, like you knew he would, then lets the team head home. You get home, drop your purse on the floor and grab the bottle of wine from your fridge. Pouring two glasses you sip from one and leave the other on the counter.
He doesn't bother knocking. Just lets himself in with the key you made him. He bypasses the wine you'd poured him and instead catches your face in his hands, pressing his mouth firmly to yours.
"I have been wanting to do that all day." He whispers resting his forehead on yours.
"Me too." You admit and he grins at you before kissing you again. "We're not going to be able to keep this up."
"I know. Let's not talk about it tonight. We have a whole weekend to ourselves."
"Okay fine. But we do need to talk about this Tony."
"Mmhm." He agrees before kissing you again.
For @moose-on-the-l00se who asked for 1 (You don't need to protect me) and 6 (You mind if I cut in?) with Tony DiNozzo. You hated undercover work. Hated it. What you hated even more than undercover work was undercover work with Tony in a tiny ass town. Tony was protective on a good day but when you were playing a target he was, apparently, a giant pain in the ass. You've been dancing on the barn floor for what feels like forever. The small town is bustling with travelers, bikers from Sturgis. Hikers that are going up into the Black Hills. Tourists who just want to see the presidents in the hill. And a serial killer. So now you and Tony are here, he's watching you, you're watching for the serial killer. "Care if I join you?" A silky voice says and you smile up at him. "Not in the slightest." His hands go to your hips, yours to his shoulders. He spins you around the dance floor and you can't help the laugh that tumbles from your lips. When the song is over he doesn't let go, keeping a gentle but firm grip on you. "So, what brings you all the way out here?" "I'm a wildlife photographer when my husband is overseas. It keeps me busy and occupied. Makes his deployment seem so much shorter." "Military man?" "He is." "Is he going to be mad that his woman was dancing with another man?" "Nah, he trusts me. Besides, it's just dancing." "Very true." He smiles down at you. You're about to ask his name when someone clears their throat. "Mind if I cut in?" You'd recognize that voice anywhere. "Oh uh, I mean we were kind of having a conversation." The man whose name you still haven't gotten says. "Come on man." Tony charms with a broad smile. Your partner concedes and you move on to dance with Tony with a smile. "Seriously?" You hiss through your teeth, a fake smile plastered on your face. "What? I wanted to dance with you." "Tony." You squint your eyes at him and he chuckles. "What?" He tries to lie to you again and you just glare up at him. "Okay fine. He fit the profile that the FBI gave us. I didn't want him touching you." "You don't need to protect me!" You hiss and he shrugs. "I think I do, you're my partner." The song ends and you move away from him. "Song's over. We need to go find that guy." "Just text McGee his name." Tony says keeping step with you as you make your way off of the dance floor. You turn on him, furious and jab a finger into his chest. "I didn't get his name because someone cut in." You turn and stalk away from him, "I'm going back to the hotel. Don't follow me." You snap over your shoulder and to your relief he doesn't. You head out of the bar and down the street toward the small hotel room that the two of you are sharing. It's not ideal but it was all you could get with the bikers in town. You woke before him this morning, tangled in him. It had been tricky work getting out of his grasp without waking him. Not that you'd minded, if you were honest with yourself, Tony had managed to work his way under your armor and had completely charmed you. That might be why you were so irritated with him, he'd made it clear that Gibbs had a rule about co-workers dating. And that it was a huge no-no. You're so caught up in your thoughts that you almost don't hear him. His even steps behind you. "Damn it Tony I thought I told you not to follow me." You say as you turn to face him. Except he's not there. No one is. "Shit." You whisper before continuing toward the hotel. You pull your phone from your pocket and dial Tony's number. He answers on the second ring. "Yea?" "Are you following me?" You ask in a hushed tone. "No. I just left the bar." Your heart sinks, "Is someone following you?" "Yes." "On my way." You can tell he's running. "I'm on third." "Keep moving. Stay on the line." "Yea." You keep moving the feet keep pace with you and you're getting more and more anxious. Not that you can't take them, it's just that he's already killed three women you really don't need to be the fourth. A hand wraps around your forearm and you twist out of their grasp. You turn to face them and are disappointed to find that it's not Tony. In fact you don't recognize him at all. "I saw you flirting with some other men." He sneers. "I heard you telling them you were married. How would your husband like that?" "I was just dancing with them." You say taking a step back away from him. "Getting felt up by other men while he's off serving his country. You slut." He sneers and your back bumps the brick wall behind you. He closes the gap between you and wraps his hand around your throat so fast that you don't have time to react. Your feet scrape the ground where they barely touch, you claw at his arm trying to get him to loosen his grip to no avail. You're starting to loose consciousness, the darkness is creeping into your peripheral vision. There's a loud crack then you go tumbling to the ground as the hand around your throat suddenly vanishes. "Are you okay?" Tony's face comes into view. "Are you okay?" He repeats when you don't answer. You nod, your throat hurting too much to actually from the words. A corner comes and takes the body, local police interview you and Tony. Then you're let go, neither of you talk on the way back to the hotel. "Tony." You say softly just before you get to your room. "Yea?" "Thank you." "Any time. I'm just glad you're okay." "I guess I do need you to protect me a little." You say before wrapping your arms around his torso in a tight hug. One that he returns. "I'll always be there for you." He promises, "Always."
He doesn't say anything, just wraps a hand around your wrist and tugs you along behind him. He pulls you into the elevator among confused calls of
"Boss?" From who you assume are Tony and Ziva. He hits the down button as the elevator starts to move he flips a switch grinding it to a halt. The elevator goes dark except for the emergency lights.
"That can't be good for the elevator." You tell him before he grips your biceps.
"What are you doing here?"
"I came in my clients place. I wrote down everything that they said but couldn't get them to come in."
"So you thought you'd come instead."
"You need the information right?" He just glares at you, "Right?"
"I don't want you involved in this."
"Too late Gibbs." You tell him softly placing a hand on his chest. He hums softly his thumb grazing your jawbone he presses a quick kiss to your lips before flipping the switch to start the elevator.
"I'll have McGee do the interview."
"Okay. I can do this Gibbs."
"I know." He says, his blue eyes search your face and he steps away just before the elevator doors slide open. "This way." The short tempered man is back, you sigh softly and follow him. He opens a door and gestures for you to go inside, you do swaying your hips a bit more than is necessary. You shoot him a smirk before he shuts the door.
You don't have to wait long for McGee to come in and ask you questions. He's kind but when you refuse to give him the name of your client he gets anxious.
"I can't give you that Agent McGee I know that you don't like that answer but you and your handsome boss are just going to have to live with it." You tell him.
"If you could get them to come in."
"It's not going to happen, they're too scared."
"We can't arrest him with a second hand eyewitness."
"Then find the evidence Agent McGee." You tell him softly, "I'm sorry, I've done all I can. Can I go home now?"
"Keep working on your client and stay in town. Just in case."
"Thank you Agent McGee." You rise then head out of the small room, Gibbs falls into step with you, not saying a word. He speaks again when you're on the elevator.
"Go back to my place, lock the door."
"Will you be home tonight?"
"If it'll keep you there."
"It will."
"Alright then I'll be home."
"Before 3am Jethro." He sighs loudly then nods.
"Before 3am." You kiss him quickly before the elevator doors open and then he escorts you back out to your car. He looks uneasy. "Straight home." He says.
"Okay."
"I love you." He whispers before kissing you softly.
You head home, well sort of, you go to Gibbs place. You practically live there minus the actually living there part. It's a strange arrangement but it works for you and Gibbs. You make your way up the driveway and onto the sidewalk that leads to the front porch your heels clicking with each step. You're digging for keys when someone grabs your arm.
"What the hell?" You exclaim as the person drags you back toward the driveway. "Let go!"
"Shut the hell up!" He snaps as he pulls you back to the cars. Oh hell no you're not going down like this. You dig into your purse for the little .22 you keep in there and ripping your arm from his grasp you turn and aim the gun at him.
"Don't move." You snarl. He lunges for the gun and you fire.
"You bitch!" He screams holding his now bleeding arm.
"I told you not to move." You tell him, sounding much braver than you feel. "Get on the ground." He glares at you but does as you ask. You dig your knee into his back then cuff him with a zip tie from your purse. Keeping your knee in his back you pull your cell from your bag and call Gibbs.
"Gibbs."
"I was attacked outside your house."
"I'm on my way." He hangs up then and you put your phone away.
"Alright, here's the deal. I'm going to wrap that gunshot wound so you don't bleed out. You try any shit and not only will I make you regret it but so will my boyfriend."
"Oh I'm scared now." He says sarcastically and the scarf you've taken from your neck tightens painfully on his arm and he swears loudly.
"Don't be a dick and I won't hurt you." You snap making quick work of binding the gunshot. It's then Gibbs' black car comes screeching to a halt. He and his team are out of the car faster than you thought possible.
"I thought you said you were attacked."
"I was. You didn't give me a chance to tell you that I shot him."
"Good girl." He says pulling you to him, he kisses your temple and you chuckle softly. "Who are you?" He snaps shoving the man sitting on the ground with his foot.
"I need to go to a doctor man." He growls.
"Answer my question." Gibbs growls. "I'm NCIS, you know what that is?"
"Part of the FBI?"
"Naval Criminal Investigative Service. You picked the wrong woman to attack."
"Whatever man."
"Name." Gibbs roars, grabbing the man's injured arm.
"Davis Miller!" He cries and even though he's bound and injured Gibbs moves you behind him.
