"Yes, you did!" He yelled, yanking on my arm to pull me back.
The arguing started since we left his buddy's house when after a few beers anything I said or did with anyone was considered flirting. We were driving back to my boyfriend's place when I wanted to go home and let things settle until he was sober.
"Brian, I'm not going through this again! I was not flirting - I was simply trying to tell him that we should stop drinking as we had to drive home. He couldn't hear me over everyone, so yeah, I leaned in a little. Nothing happened!" I exclaimed.
"You were all over him Y/N!"
I rolled my eyes and stared out the window. The farther away from my place, the worse my anxiety got. The thought to jump out of the car popped into my head and quite honestly, it didn't seem like such a bad idea.
Brian continued to yell and scream, calling me everything under the book. As I tried to build up the courage to get out, I noticed Brian started to swerve.
"Brian! Watch the damn road! You're going to get us killed!"
"Fuck you! I'm fine."
I grabbed my seatbelt and quickly undid it before pulling the door handle, thrusting myself forward. Brian swerved closer to the curb so I landed on the grass easily. The impact hurt, but it was manageable as I got up onto my feet and booked it. I looked over my shoulder and noticed his headlights so I went down a random alley and hid behind some garbage cans. I pulled out my phone and dialed Colby's number, hoping and praying he'd answer.
The first time it went to voicemail and my anxiety rose as I heard a car approach. "Damn it Colby, I need help. Please!" I whispered, pulling myself closer a garage and pulled the cans closer.
Colby's ringtone rang and I immediately pulled my phone away from my ear, "What the hell did he do now? Where are you?" He demanded.
"I'll explain when I see you, but please hurry. I jumped out of the car and I think he's looking for me. I hear a car." I share my location with him and he texted a thumbs up.
"I'm close by. I'll be there in a few minutes. Don't hang up."
I could hear the sound of the Corolla's engine and it roar as Colby sped up. It was about five minutes later when the familiar red car rolled down the alleyway. I dashed for his car and climbed into the passenger seat, throwing my arms around him as the tears began to fall.
"I'm so sorry, thank you for getting me!" I cried.
He held me tight in his arms before patting my back, signaling for me to sit back so we could leave. We stopped through the drive-thru to get some ice cream before settling back at Colby's as he didn't want me at mine in case Brian showed up.
Colby gave me the set of PJs that I usually wear when I'm here and gave me a sad smile. After the crying had stopped, it was hard to look up at him. I could feel the disappointment radiating off of him. After I changed into the clothes, we sat on his couch and put on some random show to play in the background.
We sat in silence for a bit before I started eating my ice cream. As my jaw opened, I winced. The adrenaline from earlier began wearing off and I could feel how sore my body was from the impact. I didn't remember hitting my head on the ground, but my jaw hurt like hell.
I went to take another bite of my ice cream when Colby leaned forward and ran his hand over my cheek, "Does it hurt?" He asked softly, his eyes scanning me up and down for any other injuries. He was gentle as he continued looking me over.
"I'll survive..." I mumbled. I've dealt with worse from Brian, but not that Colby knew. Brian had been physical before, a few times. Brian left his hand print on my neck and makeup wouldn't cover it for almost a week. My excuse for not being around? I caught a bad stomach bug. I could tell that Colby wasn't impressed, but he never let on otherwise.
"Not what I asked." He said sternly, his fingers gripped my chin and made me look up at him.
I took a deep breath before slowly nodding my head, my eyes burned with the threat of tears. "I'm fine, Colbs. I've dealt with worse. Way worse." I muttered, leaning forward and resting my head on his shoulder. He froze momentarily. "I don't want to talk about it right now, please. In the morning?" I asked, peeking up at him with a pleading look.
From my peripheral, I could see him clenching his fist, but he slowly wrapped his arm around my shoulders and rested his head on mine. It took a few steady breaths before he spoke again. "In the morning, we're gonna talk. But I am going to say this, Y/N, he's done. You're done. He's no good for you and you don't deserve the shit he's put you through...got it?" His voice was laced with venom, but I could see the anger he was holding back.
A small smile formed on my lips, "Yes, sir."
The subject was dropped and we focused on the show that played, it wasn't good so we finished up our ice cream and got ready for bed. I pulled back the covers and as I snuggled in I was greeted with Colby's scent. In my half groggy state, I felt Colby snake his arms around me and pulled me close before whispering, "You're mine."
Frowning, you felt the sadness overwhelm you. “Why doesn’t he like me?” You voice coming out as meek and meager, as you felt.
“Oh, sweetheart.” Toni cooed, joining you on the couch. She wrapped her arms around you, as she pulled you in for a comforting hug. “We’re the rule, we aren’t the exception.”
"W-Why are we always getting the jerks?” You were on the verge of sobbing, as tears threatened to fall.
“I-I don’t know the answer to that sweetie, I wish I did.” Toni spoke softly, as she comforted you.
Toni’s front door swung open, as Fangs and Sweet Pea barged in on the girls night you were having.
Fangs, froze in his spot. “What’s going?”
Unraveling yourself from Toni, you glanced at Fangs. “Relationship problems.” You frowned. “He stood me up.”
Fangs furrowed his eyebrows in confusion before he made his way to the couch. “Isn’t that the third date you were going to go on, that left you high and dry?”
Scoffing you shook your head. “Thanks for the reminder.”
“Sorry!” Fangs quickly apologized. Letting out a sigh, he crouched down in front of you. “Please remember, not all of us guys are like that.” He placed his hand on your thigh.
“I’ll try.” You gave him a closed lip smile, the sadness not going away.
“Why are you on such a mission to go on a date anyways?” Sweet Pea questioned standing besides Fangs.
“I’m not, but I’m not going to be rude and not show up on a date someone asked me to...Unlike them.” You sighed.
“Come on.” He held his hand out for you to take.
Gazing at it skeptically, you raised an eyebrow at him.
“It’s not going to bite you.” He teased, grinning at you.
Rolling you eyes, you let out a huff.
“See you guys later.” Sweet Pea called over his shoulder, as he lead you out a Toni’s trailer.
“Where are we going? It’s 11 at night!”
“You’ll see.” He shot a smile over his shoulder.
The rest of the walk was filled with silence, as you both seemingly enjoyed each others company.
It felt like in no time, you were walking through the threshold of Sweet Pea’s front door.
Silently, you both took your shoes off, as he lead you to his bedroom. Moving around, he gathered clothes before tossing a shirt at you.
“What-”
“You’re spending the night.” Sweet Pea spoke nonchalantly, as he moved to leave the room.
“But-”
“No, you’re staying the night and that’s final.” His voice was firm, the type of firm that told you he had made his mind up, and there was nothing you could do to change it.
Sighing, you nodded, as you waited for the door to close before you changed. Sweet Pea had given you one of his shirts, it was long enough that it was a night gown on you. The smell of him filled your nose.
Opening the door, Sweet Pea had already changed into something comfortable as he sat on the couch, staring at the TV. Once he heard the door open, his eyes fell to you. His jaw falling slack, as his eyes widened a little as he gazed at you in his shirt.
Clearing his throat he looked away. “I hope that’s okay.”
“It’s fine.” You responded, joining him on the couch. “What’re we watching?”
“Your favorite.”
“Really?” Your face lit up, as you turned to face him. You couldn’t help the grin that made it’s way to your lips. “Sweet Pea?” You questioned.
He hummed.
“Why are you doing all this?” You watched him intently.
Shrugging his shoulders he turned his attention back to the TV.
Sighing, you nodded. Sweet Pea moved on the couch, so you were both laying on your sides. He had it so you were laying in front of him, with his chest millimeters from touching you, his arm laying comfortably on his side so he wasn’t touching in.
Some time went by as you both were engrossed in the movie. Reaching behind you, you grabbed Sweet Pea’s hand so that his arm was wrapped around your waist. Moving backwards, you closed the tiniest amount of space between you.
Laying in his arms, you felt at home. Sweet Pea was quick to relax and make himself more comfortable. Turning around in his arms, you threw your leg over his hip.
He was quick to place his hand behind your knee and gently tug you closer. Leaning in, your noses brushed as he rested his forehead against yours.
Smiling, you leaned in placing your lips on Sweet Peas. His lips were warm and soft. The kiss was over too soon, neither of you wanted to pull away. Leaning back in, the kiss became more passionate.
Your hands latched themselves into his onyx hair. His tongue explored your mouth leaving nothing untouched. Closing your lips around his tongue, you gently sucked, causing him to let out a throaty groan.
Pulling away, your foreheads rested against one another, the air filled with your heavy breathing.
You and Lucas have been dating for a while, and he’s been extremely busy with promotions and training lately. So now you finally get to spend his day off with him.
I walked into the apartment complex of where my current boyfriend was staying. It was elegant yet minimalist, and was decorated in shades of beige all throughout. Making your way up the stairs, due to the broken elevator, your excitement began to grow knowing who was waiting for you. You hadn’t seen Lucas in over a week due to his hectic schedule, and today you finally got to see him again.
After finally reaching his floor you gently opened the door, already knowing that it wouldn’t be unlocked. It wasn’t like Lucas to keep the door locked while he was home. You subtly made your way through the doorway and closed the door behind you, placing your bag down next to where all the coats are kept. You could see him, lying on the couch, finally able to have a day of rest from his constant practicing and promotions. He didn’t even open his eyes as he heard you, only lifting his hand in a waving motion.
Seeing him made you smile. The way his hair was messy from obviously having a deep nap, how his lips were even more plump than usual due to his sleepy state, his large hands resting gently over himself. Everything about the man in front of you, you loved. And that love wasn’t going away any time soon.
You slowly walked over to him, placing yourself onto the couch where he wasn’t occupying. Being this close made you appreciate him even more. His warm hand fumbled its way over to your own and took it into a tight embrace signalling for you to come closer - and you did. You sat right next to his stomach as he moved to lay on his side smiling lazily up at you, rubbing circles into the back of your hand with his thumb.
“You have no idea how much I’ve missed you baby...” He spoke softly, looking at you with his large puppy eyes. You leaned down onto his chest, resting on him with your forearms and giving him a bright smile.
“I missed you too Yukhei.” Your right hand carefully made its way to the side of his face, gently leaving a trail down the side of his neck where his vein was prominent. This caused him to chuckle. He knew how weird you acted when you’ve missed him.
Lucas propped himself up and swung the blanket off himself and to the side, patting the couch for you to lie next to him. You moved your body so that it was pressed against his, your head buried into his chest, as he brought back the blanked and wrapped it around the two of you.
You lay there, in silence. Enjoying each others company. His large hands either moving their way across the small of your back, your shoulders or somewhere amongst your hair - playing with the soft strands he was so fond of.

Jealous fluff imagine
You were best friends with Adam, John and Oscar. Well, you were actually friends with the cast and crew of Star Wars but you closer to John and Oscar. The three of you often went by the nickname the three musketeers. You had romantic feelings for Adam. Tonight was the premiere of ‘The Force Awakens’.
Luckily, Oscar had asked you to be his plus one given the fact that he knew about your feelings for Adam. To say you were excited to attend the premiere, would be an understatement. Everyone had worked so hard on the movie and you were truly happy to be able to experience something as wonderful as that with two of your best friends.
The day had gone by fast, since you spent it getting ready for the evening in your apartment. You wanted to make sure that you looked exceptional tonight and hopped tonight you would finally have the guts to tell Adam how you felt about him.
You had never been on the red carpet, much less even attended a red carpet event. It was important to you, to dress up but also in something that you could keep up with the guys in. Needless to say you settled upon a dress that went to your knees. It was the most beautiful dress you had ever seen. It was also the most expensive dress you’ve ever purchased. You decided to work on your hair before getting dressed. It was in loose curls.
The dress was strapless and flowy. It had a sweetheart neckline, and a bejeweled decorative belt. The dress was nude colored and was made with shiny material. You didn’t want to draw attention away from the boys because it was their big night and you were just there as a supportive friend. You decided to wear nude heels to match your dress.
You were too busy putting on the finishing touches to hear Oscar enter your apartment. The three of you decided it would be best to have a key to each other’s apartments Incase of emergencies.
Suddenly you were startled by a wolf whistle.
“Damn, y/l/n. You clean up good!” Oscar says as leans against your bedroom door frame.
“Dude! You scared me half to death!” you shriek, half turning to face your friend and placing your hand over your heart.
Chuckling he shrugs and replies “Sorry, Kiddo.”
Pushing off the doorframe and offering you his hand he says, “shall we head out?”
Turning your focus back to the mirror, you do a once over to make sure you were happy with how your appearance was. This time, you turned fully around to your friend and accepted his hand.
Once, you arrived at the theater you were greeted by your other friends. You and Oscar stopped and posed for pictures. After, you had posed for a few pictures you stepped away from him to let him do interviews.
You were watching your friends do interviews, but your mind wondered about Adam. It wasn’t long before you felt a presence next to you.
“You look stunning, y/n.” a deep voice said next to you.
Looking up, you realized the voice belonged to Adam. “Why thank you! You don’t look too bad yourself.” you reply shying away feeling your cheeks heat up.
Before either of you could say anything further, your mutual group of friends rushed up for a big group hug.
After the movie was over, of course your friends talked you into going to an after party. They didn’t question why it didn’t take any convincing to get you to go. Your friends knew it was because of your crush on Adam.
It was late by the time you arrived at the party. Deciding it was best to change into something more comfortable before heading to the party. Once, you arrived at the party hosts house you looked at your phone. It read 11:30pm.
Sighing, you realized it would be well into the morning hours before you got back home to rest. You were wearing your favorite leggings, favorite blouse, and a pair of your favorite shoes.
You were greeted with a hug and a kiss on the cheek from the host. Pointing you in the direction of your group of friends. As you made your way over to them you could tell they were already three sheets to the wind. Before you reached them you heard a chorus of your name being shouted in-unison was heard.
“Y/N!!”
Shaking your head and chuckling you finally reached them.
“We weren’t sure you were going to make it!”
“Of course she was coming! Adam is here! She wouldn’t miss a chance to see him!”
You giggled and rolled your eyes at the conversation your friends were having.
“Whatever.” You giggled.
“Let’s get you a drink hun.” Daisy suddenly said.
You could sense she was trying to distract you from something. But you didn’t really care. Walking over to the bar arm in arm, you guys talked about the premiere and caught up.
“What can I get you beautiful ladies?” The bartender said smiling.
He was attractive, but not nearly as attractive as Adam. The bartender had a name tag that said, Jake. He was the almost the opposite of Adam. He had the same luscious, wavy hair but that was about it. His hair was blonde, and he had blue eyes. His face was cleanly shaven and he was only about an inch taller than you.
“I’ll take a Mountain Dew and Captain, please!” Daisy said excitedly.
“I’ll take a y/d, please” you said smiling.
Half leaning on the bar you checked out the room. It was filed with a lot of A-List celebrities. You settled upon a scene that made your stomach churn.
Adam was standing talking to a skinny busty blonde. He was still in his tux from the premiere holding a whiskey glass. The blonde was wearing a body con dress that barely covered her bottom, along with platform high heels. He seemed to have said something funny since the blonde giggled and touched his arm in an unfriendly matter. This made you frown at them interacting before you.
“I’m too sober for this” you sigh out to your friend.
“I’m sorry honey. We were trying to keep you from seeing them.” She frowned, touching your arm before continuing, “If it helps any, we all think he has feelings for you.” She tried with a smile.
Turning to Jake, you said “when you get a chance we will take two shots of silver Cuervo please!”
Once you both downed your shots, you made your way over to your group of friends. Seeing Adam with someone you’ve never seen before made you ping with jealousy. Your friends decided pumping you with alcohol and bad decisions would help.
You were currently dancing with Nate. Or was it Nick? You couldn’t remember nor could you be bothered to care. Most of your friends had wondered into their own bad decisions.
As soon as the song was over you decided it was too hot and you needed to get some air. Failing to realize, you had made a certain tall and dark haired man jealous. He didn’t mean to hurt you. He was only being kind to someone who was desperate for his attention. She was after something he only wanted with you.
Once you were outside, you could see the city lights of LA. Checking your phone you had received messages from your friends but you couldn’t be bothered to see what they texted. Only caring what the current time is. 1:52am.
Sighing you closed the lock screen of your phone. It was already later then you wanted to be out.
Wrapping your arms around your waist you closer your eyes and took a deep breath trying to sober up a little.
Opening your eyes, you felt content looking at the scenery before you. Turning to go back inside, you ran into the chest of someone you didn’t hear come out.
The chest you ran into belong to the guy you had feelings for. Adam.
“Woah, careful there.” He said as his hands settled on the sides of your shoulders to steady you.
Your hands had shot out and rested on his biceps.
“What’re you doing out here, Adam?” You asked trying to focus on something other than being sick.
“Are you... Are you drunk?” He questions
“What do you care?” Your question came out a little harsher than you anticipated.
Flinching he said “Why wouldn’t I care? Friends care about each other, don’t they?”
“Right. Friends.” you sighed and shook your head, releasing him from your grip making him release his hold on you.
“What? We aren’t friends?” He asked dumbfounded.
You tried to go back on side and escape from him. Knowing if you didn’t get away from him, he would be in for a rude awakening.
“No, Adam!” You exclaim “I like you, you idiot!” Feeling tears pooling, you rush around him and back into the house, not caring he stood there with his mouth agape.
Appearing by Daisy’s side you asked “Can you please take me home?”
“Of, course.” She replied. You didn’t know she had seen how everything between you and Adam had played out. It broke her heart into pieces for you.
She didn’t pressure you to talk on the ride home. The only question being “Do you want me to come up stairs with you?” Shaking your head, you made your way to your apartment door.
Once you made your way into your apartment you took your shoes off and went to your bedroom, with the intent of putting on your pajamas. You made it about halfway to your bedroom before you heard a knock on the door.
“I’m okay Daisy, really!”
No response.
Sighing you opened the door and froze seeing who was at the door. Adam didn’t want for an invitation to enter your apartment. Shutting the door and turning around to face the intruder. You were met with his arms pulling you into his chest.
He was nervous you would reject him. Pulling away from you, he took your hand and lead you to your bedroom. Wordlessly, he went in his drawer of clothes he kept at your house for such occasions and made his way to the main bathroom to change. Blinking, you gathered your pajamas and changed in the bathroom that is connected to your bedroom.
Opening the door you saw Adam, already laying beneath the covers waiting for you. You Turned the light off and made your way over to the bed and got beneath the covers. Before you could say anything, he was hovering over you, and nuzzling your nose with his. Closing your eyes, you breathed in his sent enjoying the warmth radiating from him. His close proximity making your stomach flutter.
Before you could say anything, you felt a pair of soft lips barely brush against yours. You brought your hands up to rest on his shoulders. One hand was tangled into his hair while the other rested on the back of his neck. Bringing him back for a proper kiss, your lips crashed together. The feeling of kiss was enough to make you both moan.
Before the kiss could go any further, Adam rolled off of you and back onto his side of the bed. You opened your eyes and whimpered in the lost of contact from him.
Adam chuckled before pulling you to cuddle him. Your head rested on his chest while his arms wrapped around you.
“We’ll talk about this in the morning.” He said sleepily.
“Promise?” You asked snuggling closer into his chest.
“Yeah, kiddo I promise.” He replies kissing the top of your head.

Summary: You decided to spend your summer at your grandparents’ place where you used to spend summers during your childhood. The place is filled with so many memories, some good, some bad, but all containing him.

Always Loved You (Jin One-Shot, Fluff)
I couldn’t flip the pages fast enough. Currently, I was laying on a beach chair I’d dragged out to the edge of the lake, soaking up some sun while reading a trashy romance novel. The main character had finally confessed their love to the main love interest, and things were getting interesting.
“Y/n!” I ignored whoever was calling me.
“Y/N!”
“What?!” I hollered back, ripping off my sunglasses in annoyance.
“I need you to go to town! We need groceries for dinner tonight!”
I stood up, grumbling, pulling down my swimsuit that had started riding up my ass and gathering up my bag and towel. So much for a relaxing afternoon.
Still, I guess I was here for more than just a vacation. It was summer, and I’d just graduated from university. When everyone who attended my graduation party asked what I was going to do with my fancy new degree, I shrugged and gave some vague, non-committal answer. I had no job prospects lined up, not even an internship. I knew what I wanted to do with my degree, but no idea how to get there.
Sick of people asking me about it, I finally found something to do with my summer. I would go live with my grandparents and help them out. Truthfully, that was kind of a lie in itself. Sure, I’d help with whatever my grandpa and grandma needed, but mostly I was here to get some space and figure out what to do with the rest of my life. My impromptu trip got my parents off my back, at least.
I breathed in the warm, fresh air one last time before going inside to change. I loved it here. Back when I was in grade school, I used to come here for entire summers with my parents. Between the sun and the lake, I was constantly begging to come back here. I wondered when that changed… probably some time in high school, when I started getting busy with friends and parties. “I’m leaving now!” I called out to my grandma, scooping up the list she left for me on the coffee table.
“Thank you!”
I stepped outside and began the walk to the mini-mart down the road, relishing in the way my skin warmed in the sun once more. I hardly passed a single person, let alone a single car. That’s part of the charm here… no nosy neighbors or pesky so-called friends trying to get into your business and tell you what to do. Everything had a good distance between it, allowing for solitude and that small-town feel. I loved that it took a twenty minute walk to get to the busiest part of town, which was still nothing when compared to the crowded streets of the city.
A smile spread over my face as I passed a small park I remembered playing in as a kid.
“Tag, you’re it!” I shrieked before running away as fast as I could.
He growled and took off after me, causing me to squeal and run faster, giggling like mad. I ran up the steps of the jungle gym until I reached the very tippy, top. Oh no, he was coming! He grinned as he cornered me, but I had one escape left. I slid down the slide, still laughing as my bum hit the ground, got up, and started running. I didn’t make it far, though.
WAM! My feet tangled up and I ended up on the ground. “Ouch,” I gasped, looking at my hands. They had tiny cuts all over them, and my knee was scraped.
He reached me and pushed me hard in the shoulder. “TAG!” he screamed, but his smile faded when he saw me crying.
“Y/n, what happened?” he said, leaning down and examining my knee with large, brown eyes.
“I tripped,” I sniffled.
“Oh, don’t cry. I trip all the time. I even carry band-aides around just in case. See?”
I perked up a little when he pulled a bandage out of his pocket. He smiled at me as he peeled off the backing and stuck it on my knee. “It’s Spiderman,” I giggled.
He grinned at me. “He’s my favorite.”
The boy suddenly leaned down and placed a kiss on top of the bandage. “There. All better.”
He pulled me up and we continued our game of tag, shrieking and laughing even louder, if that was possible.
I blinked away the memory, realizing I’d stopped and was staring at the playground. God, I hadn’t thought about him in forever. How long’s it been? I wonder if he still lives around here… or even if he remembers me.
Our moms were best friends back in the day, and every time my family came here, we’d always spend the most time together. He was the only kid my age we knew around here, so he became my best friend. As we grew up, we went from sending each other hand-drawn pictures in the mail to full-on letters, then to emailing, then texting, then video calling.
One day, my laptop beeped, indicating I was getting a video chat, and I nearly declined it before seeing it was him. I quickly wiped my tears away with a tissue and blew my nose before answering the call. “Hey,” I said, giving the camera a watery smile.
“Hey! It’s been forever.”
“I know, I’m sorry, I keep meaning to call you but I’ve just been so busy.”
I sniffed, and he frowned, leaning closer to his screen. “Are you crying?”
“N-No,” I stuttered.
He gave me an amused smile. “Y/n, come on. You know you can’t lie to me.”
I choked out a laugh. “Alright, fine. Yes, I was crying, it’s stupid, just some guy being an ass as usual…”
I watched as he reached out a hand and leaned his camera even closer to his handsome face, concern etched all over his features, those brown eyes shining in what little light there was. “Please don’t cry, y/n. You know I can’t stand you crying.”
I nodded and laughed a bit more. “I know. I promise, it’s over with that guy. I won’t be wasting any more tears on him.”
He smiled at me. “Good.”
Lost in thought, I kept walking down the road, my tennis shoes scuffing along the pavement as I absentmindedly kicked stray rocks. I wonder if he ever thinks about me. Probably not. Last I heard, he too went to university somewhere in a far-off city. He was probably making a living for himself, his career prospects endless… probably dating someone too. Might even be married by now.
I huffed out a sigh as I reached the mini-mart. I stepped inside and grabbed a basket before pulling out my grandma’s list, muttering as I read it out loud to myself. “Y/n?”
That voice… it couldn’t be. No freaking way. I whirled around. “Jin?”
His face split into a wide grin. “It is you! What are you doing here?”
“J-Jin,” I stuttered, still not comprehending that the tall, handsome guy I was just reminiscing about was actually here.
He laughed. “Yeah, that’s me. It’s been what, six, seven years?”
“Something like that.” I could hardly breath. He looked only slightly older than what I remember. His hair was darker and pushed away from his face to reveal his forehead, but the rest of him was the same. The same easy smile. The same toned, wide shoulders. That melodic voice. Another memory suddenly forced its way into my mind, one that I’d been trying to push away since I got here.
The soft light of 6am caused my eyes to flutter open. A fresh, cool breeze danced across my bare skin, causing me to shiver and slide my arms back under the covers, cuddling close to the warm body next to me. I suddenly shot up. “Oh God, we’ve been out all night,” I groaned.
Jin sat up as well, chuckling. “It’s okay. Just tell your parents you were with me. They’ll understand.”
Oh hell. His voice was deep and husky from lack of use, and I felt myself melting into a puddle as he spoke.
Without warning, I leaned over and pressed my lips against his. He kissed me back eagerly for a few minutes before squeezing my waist, causing us to break apart as I gasped. “Listen,” he murmured, trailing his lips across my bare shoulder. “We should be getting back.”
“No, just a few more minutes,” I said, pulling him in again.
Jin indulged me for only a few seconds more, wrapping his soft lips around mine in a way that made my head spin. After an entire summer of flirting and driving each other crazy, we finally gave in and ended up kissing each other after Jin drove us out here to watch the stars. Before I knew it, we were in the back of his truck making love. He was my first. I always knew he would be. It was just a matter of getting us to cross the line between friends and lovers.
He pulled away from me. “Seriously, y/n, our parents are going to murder us as it is,” he laughed. “And… you’re leaving today. You’ve got to go pack.”
My heart dropped. I knew he was right. When would we see each other again? Jin began pulling his clothes back on, and I did the same. He grabbed his jacket and was just about to shrug it on when I tugged it away.
“Hey!” he protested, playfully grabbing for it back.
I buried my face in the jean fabric, inhaling deeply. It still smelled like him, musky with a hint of spicy cologne. “Can I keep this?” I asked suddenly. “It… It smells like you.”
Jin smiled. “Sure.”
“Y/n?”
I blinked, looked back up at Jin. “Yeah, sorry. I was just-”
“Lost down memory lane?” he said, the corners of his mouth turning upwards.
“Y-Yeah.”
I still had that jacket somewhere. I’d kept it wrapped in a plastic bag so, whenever I grew lonely or sad, I could pull it out and inhale his scent. I’d even fallen asleep a few times with my head buried in it, making myself feel better as memories of Jin wafted through my mind.
“I find myself doing that too,” Jin murmured, bringing me back to the present.
I never went back to my grandparents’ after that, finding myself too wrapped up in school, friends, and other boyfriends to bother. Or, at least, that’s what I told myself. Maybe the real reason I stayed away is because I didn’t want to find out Jin had been doing the same. Living his life… without me.
I tightened my grasp on my basket. “Um, I’ve got… I’ve got some shopping to do.”
“Oh, right. Well, I’ll leave you to it then.”
“Do you want to shop together?” I blurted out, noticing his mostly-empty basket.
Jin turned back around, his eyebrows raised in surprise. “Sure.”
We walked down the aisles in silence, picking out the groceries we needed as we went. “I can’t believe you’re here,” I finally said. “I thought you went to university.”
“I did,” he replied. “But I graduated recently, and I came back to see my family for a summer before heading back to Seoul.”
“Oh. Did you get a job?”
“Nope. I’m trying to become a doctor, so I need to go back to school for a few more years.”
“Nice,” I murmured.
“What about you? Why are you here?”
I sighed. “To visit my grandparents. Help them out.”
Jin stopped, grabbing something off a shelf, tossing me a knowing smile. “Come on, y/n, I know you. Why are you really here?”
I scoffed. “What do you mean? That is why I’m here.”
Jin stepped close, causing my breath to hitch in my throat. I caught a whiff of that oh-so-familiar scent and felt my legs turning to jelly as he leaned down so our eyes were level. “Are you sure?” he said, grinning.
I rolled my eyes. “I’m not here for you, if that’s what you’re thinking.”
“That’s not what I was implying,” he said, chuckling. “But good to know.”
“Besides, you’ve probably got some girlfriend back in the city,” I muttered, turning away to grab something off a shelf.
“No, actually.”
“Really? The cocky, handsome Jin can’t sway them city girls?” I teased.
He shook his head. “Oh, that’s definitely not it. I could have any girl I wanted back there.”
Jin suddenly grabbed my basket away from me, causing me to whirl around. He stepped close, and I backed up until I could go no further, my shoulders pressed against the shelves. “The problem was me. I didn’t want any of them,” he murmured.
My lungs stopped working as his lips hovered dangerously close to mine, my eyes growing wide as our breaths intermingled. Jin drew back, laughing. “You should’ve seen your face,” he snorted.
“Fuck off,” I snapped, grabbing my basket back and striding down the aisle away from him.
He followed after me, his windshield-wiper laugh still echoing throughout the store. “Awww, come on, y/n. It was a joke.”
“Well it wasn’t funny.”
“Why not? What, you got a boyfriend that wouldn’t appreciate me flirting with his girl or something?”
His tone was nonchalant, but I sensed some tentativeness in the question. “No,” I replied firmly. “I don’t have a boyfriend.”
Jin looked down at me, his brown eyes bright as he smiled. “Good.”
I scoffed once more and headed over to the cashier, placing my basket down on the checkout belt. Jin placed his behind mine, and when I got out my wallet to pay, he placed a large hand over mine. “I’ll pay for both,” he told the cashier.
I didn’t say anything until we got outside, both of us weighed down with shopping bags. “You didn’t have to do that, you know,” I scolded.
Jin chuckled. “A ‘thank you’ would suffice, you know.”
I marched up to him. “Just because you’re some big shot doctor now-”
“I’m not a doctor yet, y/n.”
“Whatever. Just because you think you can-”
He cut me off once more by grabbing my bags and loading them in the back of a truck. I stared at the gray vehicle, my mouth dropping open. It was the same truck. The place where I’d lost my virginity all those years ago.
I shook my head, bringing myself back down to reality. “What’re you doing?”
Jin shut the trunk door. “Giving you a ride. Now come on, stubborn, get in.”
I scoffed, but got in on the passenger side nonetheless. Everything looked the same, but different. Rather than a Spiderman lanyard hanging from the mirror, a few graduation tassels hung there instead. The truck was cleaner than I remember. No fast food cups littered the floor, but a couple half-empty water bottles were in the cup holders.
But it was the smell that got to me. That musk with a hint of spice… exactly like I remember. My body relaxed as Jin started the engine and pulled out of the parking lot, the same way I’d relax when holding onto his jacket back home.
It didn’t take too long to reach my grandparents’. Jini pulled in the driveway and shut the engine off, but neither of us moved. Jin stared at me, but I didn’t say anything, uncomfortably biting my lip and staring at the dashboard. “Y/n,” he murmured, causing me to look at him. I half-wished I hadn’t. His eyes were filled with that same look he gave me that night we kissed and made love, wide and perfectly brown.
“Why didn’t you come back after that summer?”
There it was. The question I’d been asking myself since I got here. I twisted my hands in my lap nervously. “Because… Because…”
“Tell me,” he said softly.
I pressed my lips together before releasing a loud sigh. “Because I was afraid.”
“Of what?”
“Of you moving on.”
Jin shook his head, chuckling. “Are you serious?”
I slowly nodded.
“Y/n, I couldn’t move on even if I wanted to. I loved you. I still… love you.”
My mouth parted open in surprise at his confession. “You do?”
Jin smiled and nodded. “Yeah. I tried to move on when I realized you weren’t coming back, I really did, but you were always in the back of my mind. Y/n, I’ve loved you since we were kids.”
I bit my lip, taking only a second to process before I unbuckled my seat belt and launched myself at him. Our lips pressed together, melding into the sweetest kiss I didn’t realize I missed with every fiber of my being. Jin wrapped a hand around the back of my neck, angling his jaw to deepen the kiss, and I threw my arms around his neck, trying in vain to draw him even closer.
We pulled apart, and I smiled as I took in Jin’s blown pupils, his lips reddening from being pressed to mine, his breath coming out in short gasps. “I love you, y/n,” he murmured. “I’ve always loved you.”
My smile grew. “I love you too, Jin.”
We continued kissing for what felt like forever before he pulled back, laughing and saying we needed to get the groceries inside. We unloaded the truck with the biggest grins, holding hands as we walked up to the house.
As I looked at Jin, the sun glinting off his dark locks, his smile lighting up my whole world, I found myself thinking that maybe there was a reason none of my relationships worked out. Maybe there was a reason I hadn’t found any opportunities coming my way after I graduated. And maybe, just maybe, I was exactly where I needed to be.
His arms enveloped your figure, slowly dragging you next to him. His legs wrapped around yours creating a tangled mess that wouldn’t allow you to escape even though you weren’t planning on it. His large hand reaches up to your scalp, dragging his fingertips all the way down to your lower back. He counts your eyelashes, your moles, all the little imperfections that causes him to plummet more into a deeper love. He wraps his arms around your waist, rubbing small circles into your warm skin contrasting with his cold, rough hands. He liters your face with millions of pecks everywhere, he can’t get enough of your unique and individual beauty.
“I’m so in love with you that it physically hurts to be away from you”, Johnny hums and bends his head down to nuzzle against your neck. Your slow breathing pulls him back to a deep sleep, nothing was better than being in his arms.

pairing: Jeon Jungkook x fem!reader
genre: fluffff, established relationship
summary: Jungkook isn't feeling well and you take care of him.
You, your boyfriend, Jimin and Taehyung were hanging out in the living room of your apartment.
„You know that one time when Tae was drunk and he tripped over Tan?“ Jimin laughed, his eye smile showing.
„Yes, omg! I was so worried! Poor Tannie got so scared.“ You laughed with Jimin, seeing Taehyung win another round of the game, him and Jungkook were playing.
„I’m getting tired.“ Jungkook scrunched his nose, a small smile on his lips.
„Oh come on, you’re just jealous that I won every round!“ Tae pushed his shoulder, but Jungkook felt too weak to joke back, the way he usually did.
You thought he may have something on his mind, because when Taehyung got up from the couch to get another drink, he simply stayed there, rubbing his forehead with his fingers.
„Hey… I think it got pretty late.“ Jimin notices.
You nod. „Will you drive Tae home? I think he’s drunk again.“ Chuckling, your eyes wander around, finding him dance to no music at all.
„Yeah, of course.“ Jimin laughs, hugging you.
„You’re a good friend Jimin.“ You smile at him, as he nods standing up, making his way to Taehyung.
Jungkook is suddenly standing next to you and you can’t help but think he looks really tired.
„Hey…“ You caress his back, as he lets his head rest on your shoulder.
„Baby, you tired?“ You kiss his forehead, meeting his doe eyes, that are slowly closing and opening to find your worried ones.
„Mmm… don’t know. My head kinda hurts.“
Before you can properly react Jimin and Taehyung say their goodbye’s and walk out the door.
You lock it, turning around to see a pouty Jungkook, weakly standing on his own in the middle of the apartment.
Your heart melts and you take his hand, leading him to bed.
„You didn’t even drink.“ You say, your confused eyes watching him get under the blanket.
He doesn’t look good at all, dark circles appearing under his eyes, his mouth dry. Maybe...
„Did you get sick, baby?“ Your hand touches his forehead, checking if he has a fever.
„You’re hot!“ You worry.
„I know.“ He mumbles, weakly smirking.
„Not like that, Jungkook.“ You roll your eyes, chuckling.
„I’m going to make you a tea and get the medicine.“ You announce and he pouts.
„B-but… I wanna cuddle. Don’t leave me alone!“ He whines.
You smile at how adorable he is. „I’ll be right back, love. You can try to rest a little.“ Whispering, you press gentle kisses on his hot forehead, reddened cheeks and pouty lips.
„I love you. I will take care of you.“ You let him know and he hums satisfied.
„I love you too.“ You hear him whisper, before you leave the room.
-
When you get back, Jungkook is sleeping. He looks so beautifully peaceful, but you know you have to wake him up.
„Babe.“ Your fingers gently brush his hair out of his now, wet face.
He slowly wakes up to your touches.
„You’re back.“ He says.
You nod. „I have something for you, Kookie.“
His eyes wander to the medicine you brought and the warm, good smelling tea.
After he takes it and drinks a little tea, he says he feels better.
„But I’d feel so much better with you here.“ He pouts, patting the empty spot of the bed next to him.
You chuckle. „That’s what you get for walking in the rain, without an umbrella.“ You scrunch your nose, laying down next to him.
„The things I do for you…“ He quietly laughs, his arms wrapping around your waist.
Thinking back to when he went out to buy you snacks and it started raining, he could have taken the bus instead of walking back home. Dummy.
Your head rests on his chest, as you hold him close.
„You’re always right.“ He kisses your forehead.
„And you never listen to me anyways.“ You complain.
„You still love me.“ He says back, proudly smiling.
You smile back, looking into his eyes.
„Thank you for everything. For sticking with me, taking care of me, and also scolding me when I mess up... I’m the luckiest boyfriend in the world.“ He says and you shush him, already blushing.
„Go back to sleep bunny.“ You play with his hair.
„Will you stay with me forever?“ He whispers, his eyes sparking with love.
„Yes. I will, Jungkook. Forever.“
He falls asleep, feeling safe and loved.
He has found the most beautiful girl in the world, inside and out.
