TaeTen. 9:34PM

Ten was curled up with you in bed. Your hands running through his hair as he slept with his head on your chest. You were halfway between falling asleep and staying awake. Ten’s warmth was a balm to your chaotic emotions and thoughts from day.

Ten knew what you needed as soon as you walked through the door, He had welcomed you home with a smile on his lips and welcoming arms.  You were grateful because you didn’t want to end the night crying alone in bed. 

The click of the door opening broke you out of your thoughts as Taeyong entered the room. He walked to the bed and dropped a kiss on your lips. Taeyong’s hand cupping your cheek, thumb brushing your skin, making you melt at his gentleness. 

“Hi sweetheart,” he whispered, mindful of Ten as not to wake him, “did you both eat?”

You nodded, and he smiled, satisfied with the answer as he straightened.

“I will be right back,” He said grabbed some clothes and headed to bathroom to change.

You felt Ten shift and looked down at him. He gave you a sleepy smile, and you gave him a small one in return.

“Feel better?” Ten asked, and you bit your lip, unsure how to answer. Ten searched your face and sighed, fingers coming up to brush along your cheek, “it’s okay if you don’t.”

Taeyong stepped out of the bathroom, both of you watching him as he walked to bed and climbed in besides you. You both shifted around so Taeyong could hold you and Ten was back in your arms.

“Are you ready to talk about it now?” Taeyong asked, breaking the silence.

You thought about it and shook your head, “I’m just glad I’m home and I have you both here with me.”

You moved to give Taeyong a kiss and dropped a kiss on Ten’s lips as he let out a whine. You smiled and settled back in Taeyong’s arms and resumed running through Ten’s hair, “but I would love to hear about how both your days went.”

They looked at each other, and Ten shrugged. Taeyong relented and filled you in on his day. His voice soothing and calm, quelling the emotions that lingered. Once it was Ten’s turn,  he was more animated, causing you to giggle at his antics. You relaxed as you listened to them. You were grateful for the love, patience and acceptance they give you during moments when the world makes you sad.
