“Jae, I live across the street.”

“I just want to spend every second with you until your curfew.” He grinned, taking hold of your hands and pulling you up to your feet. “We can take the long way ‘round.”

“Yeah right! We’ve got a minute tops till my dad comes out the door with his polished shot gun demanding his little girl get back into the house. He likes you, but he still sits there and polishes that old thing every night.” You giggled, intertwining your fingers with his.

You waved a small goodbye to Jaehyun’s parents as the two of you walked out his front door. While you did live across the road from Jaehyun, it wasn’t directly the house across but instead a few houses down the street. With laced fingers the two of you slowly made your way down the pavement. You didn’t feel the need to talk, just being with one another was more than enough.

Once you were right outside your door Jaehyun turned you to face him and pressed a kiss to your lips. He lent one arm against the front of your house and cupped the back of your head with his hand as you stoop on your tip-toes to kiss him back, arms snaking around his neck to the best of your ability.

You were pulled away by the sound of Jaehyun’s watch going off at the same time a knock from inside the door startled the two of you. The two of you shared a look and then burst into laughter, watching the blurred figure of your father retreat from behind the door. “Right on time miss.” Jaehyun grinned, tapping his watch. 8:00pm.

“See you tomorrow?” You asked, reaching up to kiss him quickly and retreated into your house before he could say no, a shy smile taking over your face.

“See you tomorrow.” He whispered, a stupid grin on his own face as he practically ran back to his house.

“Call me,” you started voice leaving you with your breath, “when you,” He cut you off again with another kiss, “get home.”

The position the two of you were in was quite… peculiar. Mark was the one mostly out of your window, his body balancing on your stooped roof while his head and arms were still inside. He sent you a smirk, pulling you to him once more, bringing you in for another kiss that would take even more of your breath. Your face was cupped in his hands, his shoulders under your own hands and you tried to stead yourself against the awkward windowsill.

“What? You haven’t got enough of me yet?” Mark’s voice was deep now, not quite a whisper as he spoke into your ear. You resisted the urge to shiver as you bit your lip and looked away from im, the tell-tale signs that a blush was taking over your skin – the soft pink colour that Mark adored so much.

“No, I just want to make sure you’re home safely.” You mumbled, dropping your head to his shoulder, the chilled leather of his jacket cooling down your cheeks. He chuckled softly, patting your hair gently and pressing a kiss to your crown.

“I’ll call you.” He promised before jumping from your roof, holding on to the tree he had used to climb up to steady him. Once he was situated back on his motorbike he looked back up at you and waved tenderly. You watched him speed off into the morning’s night with a growing smile on your face.

〘BONNIE〙I changed the prompt ever so slightly, so it flowed better! I hope you like it and im sorry it’s taken a week to get around to the last few! Also I usually go by an idols real name when I write, unless they’re known better by their stage name (and it’s not weird) so I hope you don’t mind me using hyukie’s real name!

The time had managed to get away from you. From both of you actually. You told him you’d have to leave by nine at the latest, so you’d get home before the gates to your accommodation locked for the night since you wouldn’t be able to get in after promptly losing your keys a few weeks ago. He had shrugged in agreement, not in an uncaring way but rather in an unbothered way – he was used to you having to leave his place before nine.

However, as you turned your head to find your phone, the screen illuminating the digital time of almost ten to ten you let out a small sigh. You hadn’t fallen asleep, not yet anyway, but the two of you laid out on Donghyuk’s bed, shoulders touching, and fingers laced as you watched some random show on Hulu on the TV hanging on the wall opposite the bed.

“Hyuk…” You spoke up, gaze locked down at your sock clad feet as they bumped into his gently. A smile crossing your lips as he took on the little challenge and nudged you back.

“Yeah?”

“Can I stay?”

“You don’t have to ask.” Donghyuk chuckled, rolling slightly so both of you were on your sides and you were tucked even more into his side. “Silly.” His smile was tired but still so bright you could’ve been blinded. “You are always welcome to stay. In fact, you never have to leave!” He exclaimed throwing a leg over your bottom half and cuddling you to him as the two of you erupted into giggles.

When you had left your house this morning you hadn’t thought you would be receiving a surprise from your boyfriend as soon as you walked through his door. When you had opened the unlocked door to his flat – because neither him nor his flatmate Johnny knew how to lock doors apparently – he had practically run from the couch to your side, bright smile almost blinding you as his pulled you into the living room.

“Close your eyes and hold out your hand.” His voice held a range of emotion but the main one you caught was excitement. With a curious raise of an eyebrow you did as you were told, just catching a glimpse of Jaehyun’s excited expression before the world became dark to you.

“Jae? What’s going on-”

“Just stay still for a second okay, Y/N?” He cut you off excitedly and when you had peeked open one eye slightly he whined your name, stringing out the vowel sound cutely. You shut your eyes tightly with a growing smile, holding out both hands with your palms to the sky. In no time at all you felt something soft, warm and fluffy being placed into your hands and you gasped loudly at the unfamiliar touch, adjusting your strength to the extra weight. When you felt something wet boop at your arms your eyes snapped open.

“A puppy?!” Now it was your smile that was blinding.

“Surprise!” Jaehyun grinned, lifting his phone to take a picture of the moment. It was definitely going to be his lock screen for a while.

“There’s enough room for the both of us.” Johnny grinned over his shoulder at you, motioning to the bed that was definitely not a  double bed. How you ended up with Johnny, of all people, in this situation, of all situations, you would never know. Why there was only one bed you would never know.

You were on a college trip, part of the senior swim team’s last away competitions. You and Johnny were on the same team – a solid team of many people you got along well with, unusually more boys than girls – but there was one little bump in the road: the number of girls had always been odd.

You were all adults, so the coach had no problem with a girl and a boy sharing a hotel room (oh how naive of her) but you had never been the unlucky girl who had to share with a boy. You suspected your friend may have been behind the situation, catching her grinning at you so brightly when she gave you your hotel key, and you couldn’t keep the blush from your cheeks.

It may have been a secret to the boy’s team, but you were sure half – if not all – of the girl’s team knew you had a crush on Johnny Seo. And now, you had to share a hotel room with him for five days.

“I won’t hurt you.” His grin had dropped to a smaller smile, sitting down on the edge of the bed and beckoning you to him with a gentle wave of the hand. Your cheeks were red by now, you knew they had to be, but you moved to him anyway, taking a hold of his held-out hand and stopping right in front of him, smiling down at him with a small nod.

If you were paying attention to him and not literally anything else, you would have seen his cheeks and ears tinting pink too. For he suspected his friends had done this to him for the exact same reason.

“Come here, let me fix it for you.” Your voice startled him slightly. Taeyong’s head snapped up, his gaze meeting yours through the bathroom mirror he stood in front of. You were already dressed, the long red material hugging your form in all the right placed. Your hands were up at your left ear, securing a golden hooped earring.

You smiled at him as you moved more into the room, stopping at his side as he turned to face you. Then your hands were at his collar, gentle fingers tugging on the black material around his neck as you undid the poor effort Taeyong was struggling with.

“Thank you, my love.” He whispered at you, hands coming to rest at your waits as he pressed a kiss to the top of your head.

“You need to learn how to tie a tie properly one of these days,” you giggled, patting his chest as you finished the knot.

“Ah, but then you’d have no reason to do it for me.”

You officially did not know if you were on a date or not and right now you were about to pay for the end of the meal and that would be it. You had frozen in your seat a couple of minutes earlier, when the waitress had come to the table and Sicheng had asked for the check.

Did he expect you to pay half? Would it be rude if you didn’t even offer? What if he got offended if you did try to offer? What if he wanted you to pay for the entire meal, you knew you had more than enough money to blow of a singular dinner. Is this a singular dinner? Is it even a date? Had either of you called it a date? What if it wasn’t a date? What if it was just a friendly dinner between too friends and by calling it a date you were reading this way too deeply and thus creeping him out?

You hadn’t realised you had already taken out your purse, fingers playing along the edge of one of your cards and you pulled it out subconsciously.

“No, no it’s my treat.” He said, pushing your hands down and handing over his own card to the smiling waitress. Your eyes snapped to his face, looking straight to his eyes as he smiled at her gently, telling her to take a tip as well. A smile grew over your lips as his gaze flickered back to you and you watched as Sicheng’s cheeks were overcome with a rosy tint.

Maybe this was a date after all.

〘BONNIE〙 here’s the second one! It’s my first time writing for any of the new WAYV boys, so I hope it’s okay!

“I really like you.” You stuttered, not looking at him. Instead you looked out at the city below you from your position on your roof. You loved how the city looked under the cover of the night sky: how the city would reflect the stars with twinkling street lights and neon signs. Xiaojun was silent next to you and you could even pretend he wasn’t here to hear your sudden confession and it was just another night.

Your eyes flickered over to look at him. He was sat beside you, face looking toward you with wide eyes. He was frozen in place, as if your words were the biggest shock in the world. You looked away after a second, eyes falling to your lap. “You don’t have to say anything.” You mumbled, playing with the hem of your shirt. You went to pull the hand that was resting next to his on the roof, holing you up, but as you started his fingers circled around your wrist to stop you.

“Yes. I do.” He whispered back, moving you hand in his so now your fingers were interlocked. His other hand tilted your chin up, so you were looking at him when he spoke again. “I’m sorry, you just said that just as I was thinking the same thing, I thought I had imagined it for a second.” He smiled a little embarrassed.

You returned his smile, rubbing your thumb over his knuckles. “Not imaging it. I like you.”

The grin that stretched across his lips was almost blinding. “I like you too.”
