TRIS PRIOR & NICK GRIMES, this could be done pretty easy by either placing nick and the grimes family into a divergent alternate universe, or by playing tris into a walking dead au! i'd have to say that the grimes are definitely dauntless, i'd wanna say either carl or nick would be a varying level of divergent, like we see others in the movies end up being ; either way, they start as dauntless and in the case of nick, he stays dauntless where his family is— rick and jeff, i think lori joined dauntless, but i do think lucy has always been dauntless. as for a switch up where tris is in a walking dead au, she could come from a peaceful settlement of survivors ! or honestly, a closed off city (like in tlou with the QZ's) that is still split up into factions, that being just how they're run ! either way, gimme tris and nick interactions pleath and thank.

JOHN MURPHY & FOSTER LAMBERT, a kinda weird one again except not really— foster comes from the insidious franchise, so i'd basically just throw him into t100 for simplicities sake! he'd be from the space station (can't remember what it's called), and be one of the hundred to come down. he has an older brother named dalton, and a younger sister who are probably still up in space with their parents- though i could see dalton being sent down with him to be honest.

ELLIE WILLIAMS & ETHAN WINTERS, uhhhh again i think this could be pretty easy. taking away the fact my man is just a mold man and would inherently just be infected- i'd make him a survivor looking for his abducted infant daughter, literally losing some fingers on the way, if not a whole hand. im not gonna lie idk much abt RE outside of ethan's games, so i'm not sure how i would place ellie into RE !

BELLAMY BLAKE & DENZEL, this is a weird one but honestly could work. denzel is from FF7: advent children, which can be viewed a bit apocalyptic? kind of. there's basically a plague going around and ya boy is infected with it! but i know u dont know much abt ff and there's too much lore involving FF7 specifically, so i'd just make denzel a natblida/nightblood grounder; he'd be bite-y and fight-y because he did try and throw hands with a god canonically.

         you don’t normally do saturday evenings. one could often find you on your way to bars already, helping out your mum or spending time with seth, hanging around his flat. there’s been a lot of that in the past months actually, coming as far as to saying those three little words. with feelings getting as strong, it was a very welcome change for once. you feel happy.

         yet something shakes within you once you hear the familiar voice speak up at a place least expected, bringing you back from zoning out. you certainly didn’t expect to ever hear that voice here, there’s no way this is a good sign. a quiet          ❛❛      fuck      ❜❜          escapes you when you look up to make sure it’s not @nearends but just a voice inside one of the scenarios playing in your head, but he’s actually there - the reason you’ve decided to take these meetings more seriously and stopped taking stuff as much. confused by his presence, you need to know more.

         as the story unfolds, tears form in your eyes. turns out you’re the reason behind more disasters that you thought, this burning feeling stuck in throat as you bite on the inside of your cheeks. this isn’t how this was supposed to go. the moment you notice your lingering gaze is returned, you get off the chair fast and push into the door as hard as you can to leave right away, walking an unknown direction without thinking twice. of course bullshit like this happens.

AT edward's warning, the corners of bella's lips upturned into a soft smile. part of her wanted to tease him for it, but the other part loved that he cared enough to ensure her comfort against the elements. forks' default weather was cold and rainy, so she'd come prepared in her move from phoenix. countless sweaters, jeans, jackets and sneakers adorned her closet, with only a few new additions thanks to alice. one of those additions was a soft green scarf, which she reached for.  ❛❛  always looking out for me, huh ? ❜❜ the brunette declared as she wrapped the soft material around her neck and let the excess hang loosely over her chest. once settled, she pulled on her favourite brown jacket, flipped her hair over the collar and feigned modelling for edward.  ❛❛ do i need anything else, or am i ready to brave the elements ? ❜❜

it’s late august,  and there is a bitter chill that is beginning to settle over the jackson landscape.      the stain of time,   you are haunted with each passing day,   as the seasons come and go with little more than weeks between visitors.    a life of solitude wasn’t what you planned,  but you think the quiet helps,  no wandering eyes begging for the story to be told again.    no one else understood,  some days you weren’t sure you did.    met grief yourself so young,  but it came fast,  unavoidable.   there had been no one to hate,   to latch the blame onto besides yourself,    and how quickly that could twist its way around your throat,   let the light out from behind your eyes.    you hadn’t let it,   fashioned yourself anew.      it had been the only option when you still wanted to live,   and to love.      you think you fell onto this love like a sword,  a bite that you can’t take back:   if you remove it,  you will remove a part of yourself along with it.   it is hard to admit that you sometimes don’t recognise the person you love,  in flashes of anger and grief.   you too,  are burning,   unable to escape before the house would crash down on you.  it is easier to play pretend,  easier to act as if you were oblivious to the unfinished mission,  how you packed your bags in seattle and left but ellie left a piece of herself there to return to.         “ellie,  what—?”      

it had been brewing for some time,   you could feel it in the air,  the want to go back.   it had been easier then,   how blood would spill and secrets be handed over,   how quick people could be to speak should a gun be pressed against temple.    it felt like a lifetime ago,   so why couldn’t she see that?      head shakes,   idle hands continue folding fabrics,     heart like a trapped hummingbird inside your ribcage.    you will hurt. but you promised yourself that you would heal, too.  for jesse, who couldn't,   and for ellie,   who wouldn't.       “don’t do that.   don’t make this into something that it isn’t.    i —    you didn’t kill for me.  you did it for yourself,   or for joel,   or tommy.     not me.”

dead end after dead end.  every time you turn around,  even path taken is closed to you as if the heavens themselves had forced you down this road,  hand-in-hand with death himself.   spots of regret wound around your spine.    there is no end to your mistakes,  you cannot find the beginning of the chain that brought you from there to here;  each one interlinked with the last where it can pool at your feet, a weight to be carried as a constant reminder to your sins.    yourself the sole occupier of a haunted house,  it was a never ending circle:  generational regret with shaky hands that resemble your fathers,  you add that to the list alongside the boots,  the ideas,  the hopes to do what is right  [you want to ignore the bloodstain that will not come out of hardwood, but he left that behind too]    in a house that swallowed bodies,  you inherited a knife's edge.    more than most, you have known what it is to be dead,  or so filled with rage you were always hungry to sink your teeth in.    you abstained.    you wanted so bad for it to be a dream,  that you did not share the same red hands.        it is in these dreams that you find the haunting realisation:   your father’s hands are red holding a seeping wound,  yours are the same crimson but gripped around a knife.    nurture damned by nature,   it had always been you holding the knife,  grip shaky but there.     bellamy is your knife,    unwavering,   unafraid.    enough to make hairs stand on end,   you squeeze your eyes closed and wait—    

the taste of metal is nothing but familiar,   it draws you out of your own thoughts to bleeding gum,   molars grinding through your own feigned indifference,   as if his words were not ricocheting around your chest.     is that what he wanted?   they took root in your stomach,  slithered up to hold a bony hand around your throat like a taunt.   you’re weak.   always were.     guilt is your weakness,  you told yourself that you do what has to be done,   as if there is no other option but bloodshed.   you will send yourself to hell before the blood has a chance to stain.      “...then why are you still here?”     your foil,   your opposite.    alike in more ways than you care to admit,   in the way he never fails to slip under your skin.      eyes lift to catch him—        “go.   let what’s left of the world see bellamy the brave.    let us see you make the choice in who lives and who dies.”
