An Introduction

Hello! I'm Codex. I use they/them pronouns mostly, but I'm also fine with it/its or neopronouns.

I blog about: Fallen London, mostly. My main character is Chiral Ocean, the Dream-Burnt Scholar not anymore!! just chiral now!! they need a new epithet...... They are awful and annoying and I hate them dearly! Feel free to send them a calling card. Most posts about them can be found under my general FL tag #LON804, and posts that vaguely fit them in one way or another have been tagged #chiralcore.

EDIT: Additional point! It has now finished Heart's Desire- making all the wrong choices along the way - and as such, there will be quite a few spoilers on this blog. I do try to tag them but. If you want to avoid spoilers for HD I would recommend staying away.

EDIT²: it has finished Railway too!! ditto for everything above. including the wrong choices.

EDIT³: Firmament also! somehow making. *not* the worst choices?? possibly?? i guess the consequences aren't fully know yet... regardless! spoiler warning applies to this too, but a bit less so. really trying to make sure everything is spoiler-tagged for it

if dove is the product of a fingerking(???) and a devil/logos, her having such high steadfast and magnanimous is fascinating to me. fingerkings are required to keep their word, yes, but what a word means to them can be very different from what it means to them. and in a similar vein, kindness from one perspective is rampant cruelty from another.

i peeked at your account and saw you DID get the fun kraken lodgings card. soooooooo what did you thiiiiiiink (i just think it's fun thematically)

the (disguised) blonde is being normal about his masterplans working. it's the little things in life ... he has a new loyal employee foreveys...

in a meta level i am Really pleased about how this kraken almost reaches parabolan themes in its trade of abstracts... idk the description + allusion to coils makes it be fingerkingkinning. a lot of the flpc's items are abstracts so this is indeed very fun conceptually-- and the implication that the bazaar, its actual progenitor, Approves of it as well... cute.

alas. the iconic "stolen kisses". i can't not imagine the action taking place so this kraken loves its hatcher ig. the edward letting this happen at all instead of swatting it away is incredible character development by itself am almost proud of him

things that make me realize im not already following you?? illegal. anyway reporting for duty for the fursona war 🫡 there are zero animals that represent me or are associated with me in any way. definitely.

attempting to avoid arrest by volunteering for furry military duty... application ACCEPTED. and yesss this will be very difficult... you are not connected with any animals at *all*, especially not ones with wings ("if it's a yin, it doesn't have a wing", as the saying goes <- the fact that it doesn't rhyme emphasises the distance. between yin and wing). but! i have found a beast

whirligig beetle! they can walk on the surface of water + they spin around on it
