what are your favorite loki ships besides valki?

I had been working on a similar post that I left on drafts, so:

Valki. I came out of the movie theater shipping them because of their fight scenes, and that they're very good foils to each other. They're antiheroes that had to do awful things to survive with a bunch of trauma. Why did the Russos have to kill my ship in such a fucked up way? D: I was DEVASTATED and have still not recovered! I'm so fucking salty over this! I've never been so salty about a ship since Zutara not being cannon!

Frostshield (I feel like this is surprising knowing me and the fact that I've only watched the first CA movie. I love Lise's "Remember This Cold" fic series; it's so good I started shipping this). Probably one of my favorite Avengers to ship Loki with. I think they both know what it's like to be perceived as weak and feel alone, but they're so different at the same time.

Nebuloki. They have so much in common! Even Karen Gillan said she would pair her character with Loki. They might have met in Sanctuary.

Frostmaster. This ship is very good for Loki whump material and I love to put Loki through the wringer (Lise's dark fics, anyone?). The GM has God-like abilities and is a convenient obstacle/torturer for that reason. And the aspect of having to pretend to enjoy torture and all the mind games is good shit.

Frosthawk. It has Dracula/Renfield vibes. Fucked up and angsty. And I will find it funny when the thrall is like "Bitch, go to sleep. Eat something!" to his master who sucks at taking care of himself. I don't really care for Clint, but this ship is good for angst and fucked up mind control dynamics, and the occassional take where the thrall is like "Bitch, have you eaten?" to his distressed Master that sucks at taking care of himself. Reminds me of that post where someone was like "Loki forced his thralls unknowingly into caring for him rather than pure obedience."

Funnily enough I've only written Lokius and Sylki so far Out of spite because there were too many domestic fluffy human AUs for those.

OK, I’m posting this cos I haven’t seen it on my timeline cos of the Seb overload I’ve been swimming in this weekend, but Mark Ruffalo posted this on his Twitter yesterday and I can’t get over how much this looks like a deleted scene!!

today’s shenanigans: frantically reaching out of the shower and drying my hands to type out “What the raven-suckling hell is that” “Ravens don’t suckle” “WELL IF THEY DID” on a draft on my phone.

I ship Nebuloki. “Wanna go sneak up on and stab our stupidly perfect siblings?” They both pull out knives as smile at each other.  “Sure.”

I like to imagine that while Nebula and Loki’s relationship is mainly founded on their similarities, there was one major difference between them that drew Nebula to Loki; his ability to lie. It was the one skill Thanos never taught any of his children, so that they could never lie to him. But Loki wasn’t raised by Thanos. Wasn’t brainwashed from childhood to feel as much love and attachment as hatred and fear toward him. Loki was a wildcard. The one person who stood any chance of being able to plot and scheme behind his back, or god forbid make a mistake without him finding out. Nebula coveted that ability. She relished the thought of possessing just one advantage over Gamora. She asked Loki to teach her. But she was a slow-learner, and there wasn’t time to practice. In fact, Thanos had detected her treachery before she herself had even resolved to seek Loki’s tutelage.

It’s times like these when I’m reminded of a post I saw that was like, “Say what you will about Endgame, but if you’d told me Nebula and Tony Stark were going to be pals back in 2014 I’d have called you a liar”.

Like, that really truly wasn’t something anybody could’ve ever predicted. Sure, we knew the Guardians would have to meet the Avengers eventually given the connection to Thanos. But was anybody expecting Nebula to get a redemption just one movie later, after the slow-burn we got with Bucky and Loki? Was anybody thinking that she, a minor side-character/antagonist would end up the only Guardian besides Rocket to survive the Snap, over Star-Lord and Gamora and would play an integral role in saving the universe? Was anybody expecting Tony to confront Thanos in space, rather than on Earth with the rest of the Avengers, and end up stranded with Nebula of all people?

But it happened. And now, we’ve got Wanda meeting Darcy, Doctor Strange, and that agent from Ant-Man 2.

If that can happen then how much of a stretch is it really for...

Loki to reunite with Thor, the character he exists to support and whose franchise would be stillborn without him?

Loki to meet Nebula, who's currently traveling with Thor? Especially after Karen chose him twice, out of all the Avengers, to do a movie with/kiss.

Loki to meet the Ancient One, who possessed the Time Stone and was in New York during the battle of 2012 and was alive and active protecting the cosmos for 500 years, and is played by an actress that Tom has worked with before?

Loki to show up in a movie rumored to feature his on again/off again GF from the comics, or for her to play a role in his series?

Loki to meet Doctor Strange again after Ragnarok already teased us with a brief meeting and have them team up alongside Scarlet Witch, as they have in the comics? Especially when Tom and Benedict have been good friends since 2010.

Loki and Wanda’s series, which both debut in "spring” 2021 to both tie-in to the Doctor Strange movie that comes out in the beginning of May (aka end of spring/early summer)? Especially since Wanda is already confirmed for the movie and the subtitle is freaking “Multiverse of Madness”.

I’m just saying, too many things line up too perfectly for not at least one of these things to happen. I mean, that wouldn’t just be a wasted opportunity, it’d be straight up bad writing. I refused to believe at least one of these hasn’t been planned for a long time.
