dontcha love it when you have so many various things wrong with you that it’s near impossible to tell which symptoms come from what?? Cause I definitely do
To all the content makers out there Life is fucking unfair. People don't care for your feelings. No, that isn't to say that they are bad people, it's just that life is too fast to leave a kudo or a good comment. No, not all readers live in the fast lane, many kind ones do take the time to leave a good long comment that warms your soul and makes you feel good for all the hardwork you put into your creation. The thing is, think of comments like unexpected gifts. They are good, yeah, but you were not expecting them. Never expect comments. Heck, never even expect praise. I know, it's hard to do that but as I said earlier, life is unfair. Do what you do first and foremost for yourself and not for others. Do what makes you happy, so happy that you don't need validation. Stop seeking validation. Be your own validation. Don't stop writing that story because no one is commenting. Don't stop making art because you rarely get likes and reblogs. Because if you stop... you'll never reach the people you want to reach. And if you do want to stop, stop for yourself. Pause to think and work to hone your craft. Never stop because you aren't getting external validation. Life is too short to get caught up in this cycle of wanting validation. Trust me, I actually know that life is short. Enjoy it while you can. Create the content you want and just let out the wonder for everyone to see. It only makes the world happier. TL;DR: Don't stop making content because you aren't getting comments from others. — Sincerely, a struggling content maker
I finally got around to changing my theme so it’s more user friendly. I really like it, what do you guys think?
Do You Validate Parking? A guest post from Bradley Corbett at Green Embers First, a big thank you to Sue for letting me ramble on her blog. Hopefully my jumble of words won’t tarnish her blog.
