Today I...

- arrived at the hospital at 8am

- watched 3 surgeries

- failed 2/2 peripheral catheters

- apparently still impressed the resident somehow no idea with what maybe i'm really good at standing or something

- finally figured out how to squeeze all my hair under the surgery cap

- got sent home at 2pm because anesthesiologists are apparently very nice people

Early summer days

How are you lovelies? A late bronchitis really got to me so I haven’t been able to get much work done. But just because I had to stay home a few days doesn’t mean I didn’t do anything important! I reflected on my impact on this earth, and I learned a lot about the low impact and minimalism movements. I did some planning and I’ll be able to make more efficient lifestyle changes from now on. My next short-term projects are getting fit again after my forced work out pause of three weeks and catching up on my classes. My next long-term project will be my dissertation. I’m scared and excited! (More scared tbh.)

I hope you have some wonderful first summer days and remember: Earth day is everyday
