University Trip!
On Monday I’m off to Grenoble [ France ] and later on Brüttisellen [ Switzerland] ! We’re visiting the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility( ESRF) and I’m pretty excited! Also it’s probably gonna be quite fun to just be on a short trip with my friends from university. And to visit some potential future workspaces 🙈 ( some former students of my university are now working there and/or did their bachelor thesis there- so it’s gonna be interesting )

Glue: what holds you together? what makes you keep trying? I definitely think that wanting to make myself and my family proud makes me keep trying (especially in terms of academics). the fact that my hard work will eventually pay off for both me and my family and help me support my parents in their old age is a great motivator. also, i want to be able to help people through my career.
