people complaining that the protagonist doesn’t have a backstory,,, WHEN TENET IS HIS BACKSTORY

the “tragic thing” from his past that y’all say is lacking is neil’s death!!!! everyone at tenet will look at him and know that he has a tragic backstory, which is watching his soulmate die for him before his soulmate even actually met him, from his point of view at least.

he tries to kill himself, joins tenet, sees the love of his life sacrifice himself for him, and then goes off to create the tenet organization and save the world. this IS his tragic backstory.

Really random Camp Camp headcannons cause I’m apparently posting about Camp Camp now:

David hosts a Camp Camp reunion when they’re all like 19 or 20

Nerris is in the process of writing a fantasy novel and still plays DnD all the time

Nerris came out to her parents as a bisexual demigirl and they were completely supportive

Harrison is still pursuing magic and he moved away as soon as he turned 18 because his parents are still scared of him

Neil graduated high school at 16 and currently lives with Max

Nurf is training to be a pro wrestler and is a better person due to years of therapy

Preston is going to school for the performing arts

Preston wears a scarf. No explanation needed

Nicky has an internship at a wildlife reserve and is planning to go to school for zoology

Erid released her first album at 17 and Nicky is her number one fan

Nicky unironicly bought Erid’s merch and listens to her music on repeat

Nicky is a lesbian

Neil was surprised

Max was not

Max and Neil have been dating for 2 years and no one but Nicky and David know

Harrison falls for Nerris the moment he sees her and they trade numbers at the end of the night

Nerris, Harrison, and Preston hang out the entire night and become the ultimate power trio

That power trio is slightly less powerful due to Nicky, Noel, and Max being in the same place again

I have a lot of headcannons about Max’s time in between but most of them are pretty angsty so I left them out. I’ll make a separate post about it. I also have a bunch of headcannons about Nerrison because it’s the only straight ship that lives rent in my mind. Also I haven’t seen season 4 so ummm... sorry for any missed lore or ships or what not

okay okay okay but can we TALK about how when neil takes the protagonist’s mask off he immediately looks horrified and RUNS OFF. he RUNS because he knows that the protagonist is unknowingly about to kill himself!!! and he knows he needs to stop him!!! to save him!!!! I’m crying!!!!

what do you MEAN its not canon that the protagonist and neil were married and neil is the only one who knows the protagonist's name and it hurt him to call him his "friend" when he wanted to say "husband". what do you MEAN thats not canon have we watched the same movie-

the face neil made when he took off the protagonist’s mask and recognized him in oslo is not the face of a man who’s been working in tenet for years and is used to seeing doppelgangers.

that is the face of a man who sees the love of his life in front of him and thinks for a split second that maybe that’s HIS protagonist. the one he spent years with. the one who knows him. the one who loves him.
