what is tha deal with darrigan and his orb?? i really do not know neopets lore, i barely know who this ghoulish guy is much less that he looked less ghoulish at some point..!!!???!!? but i would love to hear, if you'd like to share. ::-)

HIS ORB! I wrote out a whole post with funny images while i experienced the plot a second time to make sure I was accurate but the website has destroyed my post #sad probably because I copypasted pictures in and didnt save and upload them (this used to work... years ago.....) The short version is there's an orb that will make everything awesome forever no famine no sickness only love and peace, Lord Darigan's kingdom (which is just called Darigan i guess?) had that orb Forever. A faraway kingdom, Meridell, ruled by King Skarl, was dying of plagues and famine so they stole the orb, and in the absence of this One Awesome Ball the entire Darigan kingdom got cursed and experienced plagues and eternal darkness, turned everyone into very cool gothic purple/red devils, and also, for some reason, made the whole kingdom go into the air? Up until this post I had no idea it wasn't always a sky island. Why did.. they go Up... anmyone phone in from home and tell me if this is explained or just "duh of course the citadel went into the sky. its because theyre purple and evil."

The orb ONLY cursed L. Darigan's people for some reason-- When Darigan stole the orb back, Meridell didn't turn into creatures or anything, and the orb ALSO did not heal the Darigans. Since it didn't fix anything to have it back so Lord Darigan went a little twisted wicked #EVIL for a bit and decided to try and take over/explode neopia by making the orb turn red and shoot lasers and he turned into a fire devil. it was a whole ordeal.

Everyone good and evil teamed up to kill him sonic adventure 2 style and he died. I know I said this was the short version. The orb broke after they killed him and so no one has the orb anymore. I think mister darigan deserves to send skarl to hell with his own two hands
